- Gessica (10/5): - La posizione è perfetta. Vicino al centro e anche a Hyde park che è un parco molto grande ideale per picnic. Raggiungibile in poco tempo dalla stazione. Casa pulita e accogliente.
- Paula (10/5): - Beautiful apartment, great communication when we had a problem with an item that was left behind in another apartment (we were in a group). Perfect location for the university and city centre. Loved it all.
- DAVID (8/5): I had a small problem with the hot water. Excellent support from staff quite late in evening got it sorted - Felt roomy and able to feel at home Very little indeed
- Lynne (9/5): Excellent location and amenities. - Size of the apartment and location. Bedroom bin and the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied. The shower tray flooded and we had to remove the drain and empty as it was full of hair.
- Tim (5/5): Have stayed before but not as good as before - Location/parking Clean bedding/no washing up brushes
- Marthe (9/5): -

- Charlotte (9/5): Thank you for a really comfortable and pleasant stay! - Perfect location for me commuting to both the centre and the university; Quiet, safe area; The house manager was incredibly helpful - I was able to drop-off my luggage early and she helped me with my bags (as I had an arm injury); The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean! The WIFI didn't work all the time, but this wasn't a big deal for me; Just a suggestion to have some kind of sponge/cloth so that guests can wash-up by hand instead of using the dishwasher when we only used a few bits of crockery; Also would be nice to have options for sorting/recycling our waste.
- Sharon (10/5): Grand building echos with history (and a great shower!) - Great location and plush surroundings! The sofa bed was not comfortable, the mattress protector needed changing and the duvet cover was not on the duvet. Small things.
- Hilary (10/5): Completely gave us what we wanted - Good value for money and very helpful staff Parking was tight but doable
- Doris (8/5): Leeds experience - Having a whole apartment to ourselves There was so much noise from some neighbours on our first night and also a very strong stench coming from the bathroom. I did not see why we were asked to empty the bin after use, but also we couldn't find where to put it, so we carried it with us all the way back to London.
- Eve (9/5): Superb -
- Damian (7/5): Good - Lovely apartment in a great, central location. There was a terrible smell from the plumbing in the bathroom and mould in the grouting around the shower.
- Louise (5/5): Practical but not comfortable or as clean as we would have liked. - Proximity to LGI was fantastic while needing to be near a family member in hospital.
It’s spacious and a relatively quiet area.
Hosts were helpful and getting access to the property was simple and straight forward. Parking was a big bonus. Bed was uncomfortable. Shower had limescale and mould all over the runner. Sink, toilet roll holder, toilet brush and most of the shower heads was rusty and tarnished.
Dirty pots in the dishwasher meaning we had to wash them all by hand before we could eat. No cloths provided to do so. No shower gel as advertised. Dish washer out of salt and rinse aid making it not fit for purpose as didn’t wash properly. Toaster is broken. Sofa very uncomfortable and not a place to relax. One dining chair is faulty and loose. On our first stay the bedding was on inside out and the bathroom floor wet making it a slip hazard with no warning. Overall not the standard we feel was advertised. We informed staff of some of the problems.
- Basem (9/5): Superb -
- Ellie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Carla (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay here ❤️ - Clean, nice and cozy. Will totally come back ❤️
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Great location, amazing building, nice decor, lovely kitchen. Rats and smell in the bathroom and bedding for the spare bed, no covers.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Taylor (4/5): Disappointing - comfy bed smelly bathroom- leaving fan on 24 hrs to try and compensate
bathroom far too small especially sink
very uncomfortable sofa
lighting poor- bulbs missing
- Brennig (9/5): Superb - The location for both the University and the City centre was excellent. The facilities and size of the apartment made it easy and comfortable to cook and eat in at the end of the day.
- James (7/5): Good -
- Harriet (10/5): Exceptional - Well laid out, comfortable and bigger than expected too overall. Had everything we needed
- Georgia (8/5): Very good -
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angeline (9/5): Superb - It was spacious One bedroom and only insuite bathroom
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property was in a good condition apart from the smell coming from the bathroom- it made the whole place smell like a sewer for entire stay. This made it unpleasant - I complained to the managers but did not get a response. The bed could do with updating as it was a little lumpy.
- Amina (8/5): Great for short stay close to centre - Great location and staff very helpful and accommodating when we asked for an extra mirror Room wasn’t ready on arrival and wasn’t cleaned to best standard
- John (9/5): Very comfortable - Spacious, convenient location, clean Sofa bed side couch a bit unstable. Couldn’t find sheets for sofa bed. Otherwise all good,
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Bev (8/5): Overall good and great location - Location and had a parking space. Bed was comfortable!
Hair dryer provided Toaster wasn't working ! Sofa could be more comfortable. Sank in when you sat on it!
- Sarah (6/5): Good location, and apartments at the property were very nice. Just be mindful of the drain smell in the Waterhouse. - Excellent location and a really beautiful house. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We were offered late check out which was appreciated. The bathroom was very small and had a strong smell of drains the whole time we were there. It was quite overpowering and the location of the bathroom (inside main bedroom) meant it was a constant while we were in the accommodation.
- Trayford (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (7/5): Good - The hot water wasn't working as the water tank had been switched off, meaning a cold shower on the first morning. They also need to replace the mattress in the sofa bed, which is very stained, and the pillows also had make up stains.
- Nicole (7/5): Good - It was a little walk to Leeds town centre and was easy to access. The rooms were a decent size and had all the facilities needed for our stay. We noticed on the second night that we did not have any hot water throughout the property, therefore unable to shower after being out all day in bad weather conditions. We also noticed that when we turned the radiators on, they produced a smell.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (8/5): Building lovely room very nice sofa bed needed a matress cover -
- Chloe (9/5): Superb -
- Gandy (8/5): Very good -
- Jodi (8/5): Well equipped apartment 10 minutes from city centre - Great location - 10/15 minute walk to town
Nicely furnished and well equipped
Bed was comfortable and curtains kept the room very dark when wanted
Shower was also nice
Free allocated parking space at the property
Building itself is beautiful :) Strong smell from the drains in the bathroom, by day 3 it was pretty bad. The bathroom is in the bedroom too so not a nice smell to relax to…
Needs a little TLC and checking over between guests - hook on the bathroom door had broken and the remote for the living room TV was missing
Leeds was windy when we visited and this was noisy through the property as it is an older building - not a negative about our stay as it’s not fault of the apartment but a pointer to bring some ear plugs in case you’re a sensitive sleeper
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (7/5): Good - Lovely decor. Good kitchen facilities. Great location. Comfortable beds. Simple to check in and out. Great shower Needs a bit of tlc e.g. the bin was broken, the towel hook on the back of the bathroom door needs replacing. It just seemed a little rundown.
- Caroline (9/5): Lovely apartments - good location - Great location for what we wanted and only a 10-15min walk into town, very spacious rooms. Tiny shower room, which had a real strong smell of drainage by 3rd night. Also shower room was in bedroom which could be an issue for someone staying in lounge, having to disturb people in bedroom during day or night
- Lucille (7/5): Nice large space. - Large space
Quiet
Nicely decorated Bad smell in the apartment
Not being able to lock the windows
TV so high that it hurt my neck looking at it from sofa so moved to the bedroom to watch TV and couldn’t find remote for ages (it was under the bed!) and then Netflix didn’t work.
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (9/5): Lovely apartment with lots of space. Very comfortable, quiet, great location. Beautiful old buildin. - We were taking our son to the University of Leeds and this apartment was perfectly located for his accommodation and us all being able to walk easily into the city centre. A corkscrew
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (8/5): Very good - We love these apartments. A great and comfortable place for 3 adults. My son and daughter in law had the bedroom. I slept on the bed settee which was so comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. It's also convenient to walk into the city and only a taxi ride to everything around it. We had an issue with the TV and short of cups. One message and it was dealt with straight away by a very capable young lady who had a lovely manner. Only one small problem we could smell the drains in the shower room. We used room spray to mask it. Other than that it was another brilliant stay. And yes we will be back .
- Angela (7/5): Good -
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Apartment was very spacious and decor lovely. Excellent value for money. We were trying to decide if yo go by train or car but unable to confirm via email if wecwere guaranteed a space. We ended up going by train for this reason. When we got there there appeared to be a space for each apartment but as reception not manned most of the time they are unable to ensure people only use their space bur was a big frustrating. Corresponding with only is not as timely as it could have been.
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Matt (9/5): Lovely old building in a great location for city centre, the rooms were beautiful at a decent price -
- Harinder (5/5): The apartment looked beautiful in the photos, but in reality needs tlc - Spacious apartment The bed was too soft and uncomfortable, the pillows were past their best. The lighting was poor in the bedroom. The sofa in the lounge was broken and uncomfortable to sit on.
- Hinchcliffe (7/5): With a few minor alterations this would be a go-to apartment for Leeds everytime. - Short walk to city.
Size of apartment.
Allocated parking.
Friendly housekeeping staff.
Limited natural light in the living area kept the room cool as the weather was hot. No reading lamps. Lighting in the living room was too subdued bearing in mind the limited natural light.
Partly broken sofa bed.
The reclining part of the sofa collapsed into the ottoman beneath.
Poor quality pillows for sleeping.
- Jackie (8/5): lovely apartment central location - spacious apartment and hits very welcoming smell from drains in bathroom
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (5/5): great accommodation but let down with communication! - great location! I can’t get an invoice for my stay despite multiple emails being sent. the owner hasn’t replied to any of my emails.
poor communication!!
- Claire (8/5): Very good - Very central and clean, we enjoyed our stay and would return. It would of been nice to have tea and coffee for refreshments as in most of accommodation we have had this facility.
- Per (10/5): The location was great. The apartment was large and nice - The location was great. The apartment was large and nice
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (7/5): Lovely building, good sized and well equipped rooms, with parking included. - Lovely building in a good location Noise - other parties in the appartments made an awful lot of noise in the common hallway at 4am.
Cleanliness - could be better. We found a chewed rib bone on the floor of the kitchen and old balloons/happy birthday banner behind the sofa when pulled out into sofa bed.
Bathroom - a bit small, added in as a 'cube' in the main bedroom.
- Tracey (6/5): Comfortable but lack of attention to detail - Location near the University and City Centre was good. Comfortable super kingsized bed. Good to have a dishwasher and washing machine. Local shop within minutes. Lots of sockets and USB points for charging. Good wi-fi.
Good parking for The Waterhouse. Off street parking space labelled for particular apartment in block. Smell coming from the bathroom drain. The bathroom was very small. No hook on the back of the door for towels/dressing gowns.
The wine cooler in the kitchen didn't work. There wasn't enough crockery eg 3 cups. although it catered for 3 people it was annoying to constantly wash cups. Not sure why the tea/coffee milk sachets were in a wooden "chest" on the bedroom table and not in the kitchen.
I think that a small fresh milk should be provided as a welcome as I am sure other people travel a long way and this is something we have always had in previous properties.
No window locks (security?)
No pillow protectors on , duvet cover was only half put on Mattress stained on one side as we noticed when we had to strip the bed at the end of our stay due to covid reasons?
Only 3 hangers in the wardrobe
- Madeline (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay. - Quiet, clean, location to the centre. Hosts helped out with an issue quickly. There was a bit of a pungent smell from the drains in the bathroom and kitchen that came and went.
- Emma (7/5): comfortable and quiet - big rooms, good location, well equipped kitchen bathroom in the bedroom. we had a third adult and this caused issues accessing in the night etc
- Dylan (8/5): Very good -
- Ellie (8/5): Very good - close to the city, very easy to get to places. felt safe and secure. everything you needed there was nothing I can think of. only suggestion maybe is having Netflix on both tv. as young people we wanted to watch a little bit of tv but Netflix wasn’t working.
- Blake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shawn (10/5): Exceptional - So much better than a hotel
Very well designed
Swanky Nothing it was an amazing weekend
- Sally (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and cosy very nice warm stay Bathroom was very small.
No basic setup for cooking.
Only longlife milk available for tea and coffee even though there was a fridge
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Rodney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vongai (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (6/5): Pleasant - Good location for city access and amenities in walking distance.
On site parking.
Overall style, furnishing and open plan living space was good. Large bedroom. Tiny sink in bathroom. No shaver /electric toothbrush socket. The ensuite (only bathroom) was cramped and bad smells coming constantly from the plumbing.
Very limited kitchen equipment. No lidded bowls for microwave. No coffee machine (although concierge readily provided cafetiere on request).
Don't think apartment thoroughly checked eg first thing I had to do on arrival was clear the freezer compartment of well frozen over large bag of ice.
Need to provide decent size/quality wipe up cloth, tea towel and hand towel for kitchen.
- Justin (10/5): perfect stay - great stay, apartment and location and with parking. loved it.
- Chiragh (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable and attractive apartment with good facilities. The need to strip bedding etc before check out due to 'covid restrictions' with the threat of further cleaning charges if not done. This was not really mentioned at the time of booking, and seems very out of date considering current restrictions in the country.
- Debajit (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Kathy (8/5): The Waterhouse - Excellent location in walking distance of Leeds City Centre with parking. Spacious apartment with excellent facilities. Very comfortable bed. This was our second stay here and we look forward to at least one further stay when our daughter graduates from Leeds University.
- Bex (6/5): Great building and spacious, well decorated apartment. - beautiful building! very qwerky and decorated really well. spacious yet homely. The location was great with a great little shop round the corner for weekend essentials. The fridge didn’t work and as we were staying two nights that had an impact on dining and breakfast. sadly only one chair at the table.
strong methane smell from the toilet which was quite over powering. I did request a couple of things that didn’t get sorted.
