Guest Reviews
- daniels (10/5): Enjoyable, didn’t need anything else. - Location and light and airy decor with plenty of space. Nothing really, maybe the bed could be bigger but that’s personal preference because I’m fairly tall.
- Frank Resnik (10/5): One of the better ones!! - Great layout with very good quality finishes
- Shane (10/5): -
- Luke (10/5): - Really nice place, the stables was also a nice treat just a shame I didn't have time to pop down and see the horse's, next time i stay i will ask the host if its ok to meet the horse's
- Michelle (10/5): Lovely peaceful four day visit. We will definitely have no hesitation to book again. - Great property in a really nice setting. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable spacious living space. Comfy bed and good shower. Extra pillows and bedding available. Toasty under floor heating. Nice selection of snacks, tea and coffee etc. Host very quick to reply if any queries. I didn’t like having to leave it felt so homely
- Andrew (10/5): Everything they said it would be excellent time great staff - Christmas feel about it, very well maintained and clean. Lovely decor. Nothing
- Giuseppe (10/5): -
- HINE (9/5): A Luxury stay - Modern, warm, stunning decor...
- Abigail (10/5): - Lovely accommodation in the perfect setting. It looked exactly how I expected from the pictures on the listing and came so well equipped to make sure we had everything we needed! Even though we had some bad weather, the barn was still cosy and warm. Secure garden was perfect for the dog and there were plenty of scenic walks on your doorstep :) Kelly was on hand to answer any questions and was a very welcoming host. We really didn’t want to go home! There was nothing I would improve, we had a perfect stay :)
- Sue (9/5): Would definitely book again but do more research into the walking. - Bright airy and very comfortable. I had bought my 2 dogs with me and Kelly had supplied dog treats and throws for the sofas (although I’d bought my own throws). The garden was a reasonable size and fully fenced. Well fitted kitchen with all mod cons. Lovely welcome pack with snacks and hand cream. The shower was amazing really powerful - wish I could have stayed longer so I could have more showers!! Could hear the traffic on the motorway which was a little annoying. The garden fencing was about 3ft so if you had a dog that jumped over anything less than 6ft it’s not for you. Any higher fencing and I would have felt trapped. The nearby walks I attempted one but they all had styles to climb over which would have been ok but the lower part of the styles were all blocked by fencing so I would have had to lift the dogs over - as they are 23 and 25kg I wasn’t going to do that. I did however find a lovely walk about 20 mins drive away so the dogs had a lovely walk on the 2nd day.
- Fiona (10/5): We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely return. - Stunning conversion, bespoke kitchen, large comfortable bed and enclosed garden in a beautiful location. Immaculately clean with fantastic facilities and everything you could wish for. Honestly the nicest place we have ever stayed. Kelly has gone the extra mile to make this property a home from home. Nothing it exceeded our expectations

- Julie (10/5): Excellent dog friendly accommodation - The Saddlery had everything we needed for us and our dog. When they say they are dog friendly, they truly are, even supplying blankets for the dog to sit on the settee. It was immaculate. Felt like we were the first to stay there.
Nice secure garden and welcome pack. It was very hot while we were there, and Kelly brought us a fan round within 5 minutes of asking.
We have stopped n lots of dog friendly accommodation over the years, and this is one of the best. Would definitely return. Nothing
- Simon (10/5): Lovely stay thank you - Secure garden for the dog. Lots of things provided. Location ideal for dog walks
- Jessica (10/5): Exceeded expectations - The Saddlery exceeded my expectations. Great location for long dog walks in the mornings at the nature reserve across the road, and in good distance from places to visit in Kent and Sussex in under an hour, and 15 minutes from Asford shopping outlet which is super dog friendly.
The property was immaculate, very comfortable, and everything had been thought of. I had such a lovely stay with my dog and would definitely recommend it to friends and family and I hope to return.
Kelly was a great host and greeted me on arrival so I could pick her brains about dog walks. The only thing I thought could have been provided was some milk to make a cuppa, even if it was long life milk in little pots.I completely forgot to bring some and being on my own with a dog, it's not always easy to pop into a shop to get some.
Other than that, there is absolutely nothing else I would suggest, it was perfect!
- Abbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Duncan (10/5): Great place to stay 🙂 - The accommodation was clean and welcoming. Kelly was so friendly and helpful. The location had beautiful views and close to so many amenities.

- Manuela (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous layout, full of character
- Jonathan (9/5): Beautifully laid out cottage in a lovely location - The location was good for things to do around the area. The inside of the property was very clean and well laid out.A very good welcome folder explaining how everything works, lovely shower room and a comfortable bed. Lovely area outside with lovely views. I think the first night the heating was set very low so didn't come on but there was a wall fire which was OK.
- Ian (10/5): Peaceful and comfortable and the ideal holiday home for us and our two dogs. - Absolutely everything, it was a nice setting warm and comfortable with everything you could possibly need Nothing at all it was perfect.
- Carina (10/5): Gorgeous property with peaceful surroundings and great little touches. - It was just perfect, very clean & comfortable, super peaceful, lovely scenery, easy to use appliances, pet-friendly and to top it off…underfloor heating! We loved all the little touches, doggy treats in the cupboard, milk in the fridge, blankets for outdoors, lovely ground coffee for the cafetière, we didn’t want for anything. Nothing, it really was just perfect.
- Gardner (10/5): The Saddlery was great - The location was peaceful.
Parking was good.
Lovely barn with all the amenities needed for our long stay.
Comfortable bed , loved the underfloor heating and a great shower. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Roberts-davies (10/5): Fab Kent couple retreat - The place was really clean and well equipped, everything high quality. Very comfy bed and quiet, slept well. Kelly was a great host and extremely understanding even though we made a mistake in the booking. Convenient base for exploring Kent. Can't think of anything
