Guest Reviews
- Yasmin (10/5): Incredibly beautiful and relaxing! - Absolutely beautiful property. So peaceful and tranquil. We also loved being able to use the tennis court. Jemimah was so kind! We had a beautiful relaxing stay. N/a
- Shelley (10/5): Absolutely fabulous. 10/10. - This property was exceptional. The host was just amazing and so welcoming and helpful. The property it itself was just outstanding. So beautiful, so clean. The location was fantastic. It was a true escape from hectic life. Everything you could need was provided. Beautiful flowers and cookies on arrival. We did not want to come home. I could not recommend a stay anymore.
- Janet (8/5): Delightful - Exquisitely furnished, very stylish The bathroom was downstairs. With the bedroom upstairs, not ideal for a couple of our advanced years
- Kevin (10/5): - The accommodations were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The host is really friendly and met us when we arrived. There's even a tennis court which we can use and the host provided the rackets and balls. It is a very lovely property in a nice quiet environment. At times, the internet was a little slow, but it was still manageable.
- Samantha (10/5): - Beautifully crafted cottage, with all we needed for a comfortable and restful stay
- Peter (10/5): Ideally located in the heart of Kent - Very relaxing break Nothing really
Might be hot in the bedroom in a heat wave
- Lewis (10/5): Amazing. - Recently stayed here, couldn’t fault the place, looks amazing, close to everything you need, would definitely stay again.
- Sarah (10/5): Just Perfect! - The decor was beautiful, the layout and the feel of the property. The little details like the hand wash and bath salts were a lovely addition. The sofa’s were not very inviting! And the dining table wobbled a lot. But neither took away from the lovely experience.
- Shanique (10/5): Amazing stay, book for a home away from home - I loved the fact that you are on the grounds but you have a little private space just for your stay, the house was practical and has everything you would need for a little break away. The tennis courts were amazing! The host was 10/10 such a lovely woman she made us feel so welcomed and would 100% recommend. If I was to nit pick the only things that could be improved was the sofas were not comfy and the bed being a double not a king or Queen.
- Yulia (10/5): Amazing - Wow!!! The place is absolutely stunning – we enjoyed every single moment. The villa is luxurious, set in a peaceful and picturesque location, and fully equipped with everything you might need. The beautiful terrace overlooking a private lake with fish was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and start the day. Within a short drive, you’ll find restaurants, supermarkets, and attractions well worth visiting. We also had a great time playing tennis on the nearby court. The host was incredibly kind and helped us with everything we asked for. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, tranquility, and true luxury Everything was perfect

- Kathleen (10/5): One of the best, for sure. Immaculate, private and everything you need. - This beautiful property was for my daughter. It was immaculate, beautifully presented and had everything she needed for a lovely quiet stay during her birthday weekend. She enjoyed watching the fish in the pond from the private balcony ! There’s absolutely nothing to dislike.
- Jacqui (10/5): A beautiful bolt hole, immaculately presented in a tranquil location - It’s beautiful inside and out Nothing at all
- Shehana (9/5): Superb -
- Mitchell (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place, very peaceful and welcoming. Honestly I could not fault the place
- Abi (9/5): Beautiful and peaceful - We really enjoyed our stay! The interior of the property is stunning and it was super clean with all the necessary amenities. Even though it’s on the owners land it’s still very private and peaceful. The surrounding area is beautiful countryside with lovely places to eat and drink nearby. We ran out of hot water while running a bath (around 11pm) so unfortunately had to have one luke-warm. Although, hot water was back in the morning.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - A gorgeous stay!
The most helpful host!
And a beautiful village!
- Angelika (10/5): A flawless stay with unmatched cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and exceptional hospitality. - My stay was nothing short of exceptional. The cleanliness of the space was impeccable—truly the most pristine accommodation I’ve ever experienced. The thoughtful amenities elevated the experience, complemented by cozy, ambient lighting that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bed was luxuriously comfortable, paired with a generously sized duvet that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The freestanding bath was a showstopper—both elegant and immaculately maintained. Add to this the breathtaking views and the host’s gracious hospitality, and it’s clear this property is a rare gem. I can’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning in the future.

- Jess (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay - it’s the perfect place to switch off and relax! We would definitely love to return 😊 - This was the perfect little staycation! The house was absolutely stunning, we loved the open plan living area which opened up onto the terrace (which was perfect for the summer weather!) everything was so well thought out - it was amazing.
Jemimah & Andy had thought of everything you could possibly want out of a UK break! Nothing!
- Zack (10/5): Beautifuly situated in a picturesque part of Kent - Loved the style and function of the property, beautifully designed.

- Sally (10/5): Very relaxing. - Beautiful property and an amazing host.
- Mary (9/5): Stylish waterside setting near Sissinghurst. - Very stylish with excellent quality renovations of old barn. Helpful hosts. The noise from the road when windows open took away from the country quiet feel.
- Amanda (10/5): An wonderful treat - Everything - stunning, inspiring, relaxing, beautifully presented Nothing
- Zena (10/5): Exceptional - Escaping to weavers rest for the weekend was truly rejuvenating. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, we found solace in the simplicity of nature. - Lauren (10/5): Pure bliss - Amazing place. Had the most peaceful little get away. It’s beautifully decorated, feels so tranquil. Plenty of fun things to do close by. We visited the chapel down vineyard and walked across the fields to the three chimneys pub.
Jemimah was very helpful and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you.
- Susan (10/5): beautiful, restful, quiet - Has spectacular setting, architecture, finishes and furnishings.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abi (8/5): Very good -
- Nicola (10/5): Best weekend away we've had in the UK - we honestly had the best weekend. totally awesome. location and house was so beautifully done and the owners were so kind and friendly. Loved that there was no TV - we read and drank lovely wine the whole time. Can't wait to go back as soon as we can.
- Sharmin (10/5): A perfect country getaway - Weavers Rest is a modern but welcoming property. We particularly enjoyed the bath and balcony. It’s quite apparent that the interior has been styled by an artist as it is tastefully furnished. Jemimah and Andy were very accommodating and made us feel looked after. Nothing
- Joel (10/5): Wonderful -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Our second stay- the property is absolutely beautiful, well located, private and quiet. The decor is exceptional and the hosts very helpful. We'd stay again.
- Amy (10/5): A fantastic, unique getaway… - Weavers Rest is in a lovely location with a real country feel- bonus is that it’s only 1.5 hours from south London! Jemimah was incredibly welcoming and we opted for the local produce breakfast hamper there was enough food to easily cover breakfast for two days and it was local produce too. Delicious. You can walk to Biddenden village where there was a pub and a couple of restaurants. It’s also close to Tenterden too for chapel down vineyard.
The accommodation is beautiful, a really high level finish, a lovely option to get away from it all. We went out for dinner on our second night - but I wish we had stayed here and used the excellent kitchen. My husband used the bath tub in the bedroom which was a real treat.
We didn’t use the terrace but I’m sure it would be very relaxing in spring/summer.
If you’re looking for a well located, beautiful getaway, this is it. You won’t regret it!
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property, stylishly remodelled. Great location for us to visit family. Despite being near the main house, the setting is extremely private and quiet. The cantilevered veranda over the pond is very special. Hosts are very helpful and great about communication. Looking forward to returning. Nothing to dislike. Wasn't an issue for us, but note there is no T.V.
