- Nick (8/5): A peaceful place to stay, within walking distance of some good places to eat and have a beer - Large, spacious room. Very clean and comfortable, in a nice area
- djomakon (6/5): -
- Patrick (8/5): Rustige relaxte vakantie plaats. - Heerlijk rustige plaats. Vlakbij het strand
Aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Heerlijk grote kamer. Heerlijk warme douche.
Eenvoudig ontbijt heerlijk op de binnenplaats onder de palmbomen. Niet direkt aan het strand, strand was 2 straten verderop.
- Terence (8/5): Good - Confortable stay, nice food Good location Breakfast a bit slow. Tv and Wi-Fi not available.
- Solenn (8/5): Very good - Nice location close to the beach No towels provided in the room
- Dwyer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Silvia (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is great, answering all my questions. The location is great, just off the main road and close to restaurants and Karo Villa. The room is very clean and comfortable.
- Mikko (8/5): OK stay. - Clean room, good shower, lovely courtyard. Helpful staff. Price in booking.com for my room was CFA 24000 and rack rate for same room was CFA 15000. Even though hotel has to pay commision, it felt bit like scam.
- Hadir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Strand (10/5): Fantastic stay at the Ramaya - The staff (and manager specifically) went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay, even going out of his way to help us get transportation to our next destination. It was clean, comfortable and had lots of great outdoor seating, especially the top floor balcony, which you can see the ocean from.
- Serina (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly.. Especially Alex helps us for everything.. Special tour organization, Transportation to lome/Togo, etc.. Internet was not good at the second floor..
- Joy (8/5): It was a short but nice stay and a good break from the hustle & bustle of the city life. - I loved the ambience of the hotel and the staffs were really welcoming and helpful especially the front desk rep, Alex. He was always looking for ways to assist with any inconvenience. Well, I stayed in the rooms with fan and it was unfortunately very hot and humid. Also, due to the hot weather we needed to have a swim but the hotel doesn’t have a pool and we had to go to another hotel to use one. Another thing they should really look into is having a restaurant at the hotel as we couldn’t eat well and the breakfast wasn’t filling either. Alex helped to show us a restaurant close by but the food wasn’t great.
There are also limited activities to do at the hotel.
- Beth (7/5): Good -
- Alexander (9/5): Great place to stay, close to beach and restaurants. -
- Guido (8/5): Very good - we wanted breakfast at 7:30 am, but the cook was unwilling to arrive before 8:00 am.
- Omotayo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joelle (9/5): Superb - The rooms are large and soberly decorated. Large windows with a beautiful view on Grand Popo (if above ground floor). I liked that you have either the AC or fan option. Some rooms did not have a mosquito net, but mine had.
The garden is lovely and the staff are really helpful and kind. Shower is "on the floor," which can be a bit annoying if you have to use the toilet and the floor has not yet dried - but this is very common in Africa.
Wifi only works in the garden, but in any case I recommend to buy a local sim card to be more autonomous. Network is not great in Grand Popo area anyway.
- Jorge (10/5): Enjoyable - Personnel was very attentive and flexible. Very comfortable room. I enjoyed everything
- Roberto (10/5): Fantastic - Service was super, I arrived in the night and booked 10 minutes before. They welcomed me and my friend and arranged the rooms quickly. It was all super and friendly and I definitely recommend people to stay there. nothing, it was perfect.
- Achille (9/5): A renewed amazing experience with a great "Vue sur mer" - The staff were amazing especially Mr Alex Zokou. He is your man! Please look for him during your stay and he will make your stay enjoyable and fun. He went extra miles to ensure that we get all we deserve. The restaurant is under refurbishment and it is important that it opens soon. It can become a challenge to go out for food unless it is a breakfast. However, Alex was able to help in getting food from neighbouring restaurants. But this has a different feeling!
- Antonefe (8/5): Very good - A very comfortable and spacious room with a terrace and a nice bathroom.
Air conditioning works perfectly well. Satellite TV channels. With a very lovely view. Breakfast was also nice. The restaurant was not up and running and we had to get dinner ordered from a contracted restaurant, outside of the hotel and the food was not very appealing.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (7/5): Good - Comfortable stay but the hotel needs some maintenance. The first room didn't have any working electrical outlets so we moved to a second room which didn't have a working shower. Wifi was good and reached our room on the 1st floor. The sea bass for dinner was delicious. The petit dejeuner for 1,500 cfa consists of coffee, baguette and a very good omelet. Noel at the front desk was a great help in negotiating seats for us in a bush taxi to Cotonou.
