Guest Reviews
- Sabina (9/5): Lovely cottage. - Decoration was excellent, very tasteful and not too over the top with seaside theme. In perfect location for all of southwold attractions. The owners had thought of everything. Would recommend for a family with children We didn’t like that the two smaller bedrooms link to each other and no door in between just a curtain. Even a concertina door would be better . The person in the bunk bed room has to walk through the other room to exit. Think it would be great for children which it’s geared up for but inconvenient for adults sharing.
- Lorna (7/5): Very nice property, some minor tweaks needed! - The property was very close to town down a quiet road, near the play area so great for kids, and not too far a walk to the pier.
The house was a comfortable size for 3 adults and 2 toddlers and had enough beds for 6.
The kitchen was well stocked for self catering, and the garden was a really nice space.
Lots of books and games, spare bedding.
Light and airy property with WiFi. Was nice to have a bath and everything was adequate. There was no high chair, only a very unsafe chair adaptor that was meant to be a high chair but didn't fit onto the dining chairs supplied so was actually very unsafe for infants to use.
The oven cooked everything at 1000 degrees no matter what temperature you set it on, so really needs to be replaced.
The third bedroom leads through the second bedroom so early risers have to walk through another bedroom to get downstairs which wasn't ideal.
- Anna (8/5): Lovely stay in Southwold - Main bedroom was super cosy, all the beds were really comfortable, great little puzzles and games for wet days. Also cook books on the shelf and all kitchen equipment you would need. The next door neighbour had nappy's in their yard so we're visible from our yard and when going to the garden. They moved out during our stay.
