- Toby (10/5): Very happy with the overall experience and would stay again for sure. - It was spacious for what we needed, easy access, warm and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only negative I can think of is the shower is very under-powered and suffers from temperature swings.
- Simon (10/5): Excellent accommodation, Carla is a fantastic host and it was a convenient location for me. - It was quiet, immaculately clean and 4mins from where I needed to be daily. Nothing it was all good.
- Jan (9/5): Comfortable home from home! - Everything we needed for a short visit to Clevedon. Comfortable living area, very clean and well-equipped kitchen. Nothing comes to mind!
- Joanne (10/5): - All conveniences to support an independent and comfortable stay have been considered. Clean, comfortable and access well organised. Host was responsive and helpful.
- Ray (10/5): Enjoyable - We liked everything about it and will definitely book again next time we come to Clevedon. Thank you. All good
- Adrian (9/5): The comfortable modern apartment was conveniently within walking distance of beach. -
- Charles (9/5): - Location and ease of check in
- Paul (9/5): - It was nice and quiet at night, comfy sofa and a well appointed kitchen.
- Ian (9/5): - Everything available for our short stay. Clean and bright and centally located for town or sea front. The bedroom is compact with no outside window for air circulation.
- Lee Erica (7/5): With a couple of furniture upgrades it would be very nice. - The garden cottage is nicely done up. Convenient to explore Clevedon town and the marine lake. Useful to have access to Netflix. Friendly hosts. The couch was uncomfortable and the bed was average.
- Amanda (10/5): Beautiful property in a lovely ares with excellent hosts. - The property was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean, with plenty of space for our family (two adults and a teenager). The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, making it easy to access the property even though we arrived late in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were very responsive and supportive if we needed assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. Nothing.
- David (9/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): Cosy apartment - Lovely cosy garden apartment with everything we needed for a short stay. Easy to access the room and I had a query which was promptly answered. Everything was fantastic no issues at all
- Martin (8/5): Morer than met our expectations with friendly hosts. - Good location for us to explore north Somerset. Comfortable to come back to rest & eat. It was very hot weather and we need the fan at night.
- Jasmine (10/5): Best option for Clevedon - Amazing place if you need to be in the area. Felt like I could live there!
- Alexandra (10/5): Fabulous stay, would definitely return. Thank you 😊 - Close to purpose of visit, extremely clean and perfect for a 2 night stopover. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. No blind on the kitchen window (we coped but was bright early morning in the lounge area) didn’t effect by me though 😂
- Rebecca (10/5): Over the moon - Everything it was lush felt really homely and is definitely better than staying in a hotel or anywhere else Nothing we loved everything
- Judith (7/5): Hosts made us feel welcome - Hosts lovely and friendly
Nice touch with snacks and water .
Comfortable beds
Fan in bedroom Milk on arrival would have been nice .
It was difficult to get into the property via the garage as the fob/ garage wasn't working well. We had to ring the owners a few times to get in. It's odd gaining access via a garage door ,
Just felt abit overlooked by the house and neighbours.
It would have been nice to have terrestrial TV as I missed the news .etc .
We couldn't work out how to use the hob so we gave up and just used the microwave despite looking for a manual.
- Joshua (8/5): We do like to be beside the ccccccccside - Location was excellent. Plenty of space. Sofa bed could have been bigger. Kitchen was well stocked.
- Marion (8/5): Easy to find and access to keys. Very good size apartment with lovely decor and well equipped . -
- Nigel (10/5): It was perfect for us. My partner’s Mum has a one bedroom flat in Clevedon so we needed somewhere bigger to stay over Ch - Beautifully designed and decorated. Had everything we needed and lots of nice little touches. Nothing
- Paul (10/5): Fantastic - This place and hosts were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble, I would definitely stay here again 9, Perfect ---- thanks so much to Carla & Antony Wonderful people Nothing to dislike
- Eric (9/5): Lovely and clean self catering accommodation. - As it is self catering accommodation, I liked the kitchen in that it has all the necessary appliances and utensils. I also liked the fact that there are free Netflix and Amazon streaming services with a very large screen TV. There was also fast Internet. I always felt safe and secure as the accommodation is away from the street towards the back of the main house's garden. Although we were there in November, there was garden furniture to relax on and enjoy during warmer summer months. It is also in close proximity to a ASDA and main bus routes. We spent a week there and always enjoyed coming back at the end of a day to relax after visiting family and touring around Clevedon and Bristol. The only thing I believe can be improved on is the security of the WiFi as logging on did not require a password. This could be improved to ensure a level of secure Internet access.
- Lindsey (8/5): Perfect accommodation while we were going to a wedding. - Clean, modern, well equipped. Owners very responsive by message. Street parking and access through owners garage. Could see owners house while sat on sofa.
- Alan (10/5): Faultless! - Great location, clean, tidy, quiet, close to shops/town centre. Anything I required or requested was provided with no issues at all! Owners were great hosts. Will be back when I return to clevedon. Many thanks again!!
- Oliver (9/5): Great little place, perfect for a few nights away or to be honest, longer stays. Very cosy! - Easy to collect the keys, clear instructions on how to enter. Everything was clean, tidy, and didn't feel cheap. Felt very homely and friendly hosts provided us with everything we needed. Would recommend!
- Adam (10/5): Great apartment, great couple, thanks so much! - Friendly owners
Lots of amenities provided - iron, hair dryer, snacks, coffee, etc.
Hot shower Wasn't a problem this time but could be a little cold in winter if you can't work out the heaters.
Bed was good but my larger friend stayed on the the sofa bed which may not have been so comfortable.
Also not so much the guests' problem but I felt a bit wary that we made noise when we got in late as you have to go through an automatic garage door to get to the apartment.
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emilly (8/5): Cosy place that was very clean! - Really cosy and felt very secure. Shower pressure was very low so we really struggled with hair washing.
- Anne (10/5): Great value for money - Much bigger than I expected. Very close to Asda for food. just what we needed for our one night stay Very minor criticism but the water pressure in the shower could have been better. But wouldn't put me off staying again
- Donna (9/5): A lovely couple of nights away to start my Daughters 18th celebrations. We felt comfortable and at ease. And Carla the o - Was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Perfect size. Great facilities. Comfy beds. Good location and Carla was a great host/owner Nothing
- Jan (10/5): Really lovely apartment, immaculate, tasteful decor and very pretty bedding. Would stay again. -
- Kathy (8/5): Great place would recommend - Great place for a few nights stay. Was in a good location, and rooms where all very clean. Had everything you need. Everything was good.
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet location and within a 20minute walk of the beach. Nothing, everything was brilliant
- Susan (10/5): Hosts were helpful and kindness itself - not applicable
- Thiyagarajah (8/5): Very good -
- Nigel (9/5): An excellent property for a short stay. - The accommodation is a self-contained unit at the bottom of the garden of a semi-detached suburban house. It comprises a kitchen, lounge/diner, bedroom and toilet/shower room. It is clean, well appointed with good quality furnishings and kitchen appliances. There is the option of a sofa bed in the lounge. One slight drawback is that the bedroom is small and oddly shaped, which means that one side of the double bed has to be against the wall.
Be aware that there is no parking onsite, so you have to park on the road which is quite narrow and the house is on a bend.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Pip (9/5): Great accommodation & location - Great accommodation & location. Would have liked fridge to have an ice box & for the bedroom to either have a dimmer switch on the main light or to be able to reach to turn the bedside lamp off from the bed. Apart from that everything was fantastic.
- Joyce (8/5): Very good - Very pretty and clean place. Had everything we needed for our stay: coffee, milk, tea, towels and beds where made. Separate bedroom when staying with children was great. Location for us was perfect: close to friends, supermarket, town centre on 10min walk. Lady of the house is very friendly. I didn't know how the coffee maker worked, but there was another way to make coffee, so not a problem.
- Sharron (10/5): A great place to stay in Clevedon - Carla and her family were lovely from the moment we arrived, very friendly and helpful. The property was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and the facilities were excellent. We spent a lovely relaxing long weekend there and really there was nothing we required that hadn't been supplied. Tucked away at the bottom of the garden the property was very quiet and extremely secure. We will happily return to Garden Place again the next time we are in Clevedon. There was nothing that we disliked. The bedroom is a little on the snug side but it was no problem for us.
- Claire (10/5): Fantastic - What a wonderful find, the apartment is so comfortable and spotlessly clean, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely return if we come to Clevedon again Minor but if we were staying for a period of time would of liked a washing machine and a freezer in the apartment
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - Relaxed and comfortable. Made the visit very easy.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bee (10/5): Marvellously refreshing - Carla and Anthony made me feel extremely welcome. It was a lovely peaceful place to stay with everything I could possibly need. Spotlessly clean and a very welcome snack basket 🧺 upon my arrival too. Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay. I will be back. Lovely to meet E also (adorable) ❤️ Nothing at all it was perfect 👌
- Lynn (10/5): Very nice. - Friendly host. Lovely accomodation.
- Ben (10/5): Very comfortable. Easy to come and go. Highly recommended! -
- Kumran (9/5): Superb -
- Julian (9/5): Superb - This worked even though we didn't actually meet the hosts F2F at all. Very helpful contact via SMS. The bedroom is small, so I found it easier to change in the living room; if the internal wall was in a slightly different position, it would make a useful difference to the bedroom without much space relatively lost in the living room. The kitchen is good for meal preparation. Otherwise likely places for breakfast out are various cafes in the town shopping centre near the Baptist Church or cafes on the sea front.
- Julian (7/5): Very nice owners, but wouldn't return - Friendliness of owners; reasonable amount of space 3 keys to get in; Bed against wall-meant climbing over spouse , thus had to sleep apart on sofa bed; poor hot water system.
- Marta (10/5): Exceptional - Everything !
Every time I come to clevedon it’s only for professional reasons ,so I feel very stressed and tired .This time I was the only time that made me feel more “relaxed” and less stressed. all this because I was very comfortable at this apartment. Carla and her family made me feel like I was home. They were very kind, friendly with me and above all, honest and excellent costumer service !!
It is the cleanest place I’ve ever booked it to stay, in the whole uk ! When I mean by clean , I mean everything !.. the towels , bed sheets , the toilets.
- Julie (10/5): Friendly reception, great location, comfortable stay - Lovely clean and well equipped apartment with friendly hosts and good security Nothing - it was all great
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Toni (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Heather (10/5): Great location as wanted to swim in the marine lake. Very clean and good value for money - Self contained , own kitchen and well equipped Nothing
- Theodore (8/5): Very good -
- Dom (10/5): really nice place would highly recommend. -
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Amber (8/5): Lovely stay at a reasonable rate! - We were surprised how much comfort was packed into this place! We were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were incredibly cosy. The sofa bed was made up for us on arrival (by request) and the ground coffee was a lovely treat! The view is directly into the main house from across the garden, although we didn't mind as the large curtains were good enough to give us any privacy we needed
