• Guest (6/5): While the location was excellent and the stays had its comforts, the overall experience felt pricey given the level of s - My stay was generally pleasant and convenient. The location is excellent, just steps from metro and bus stops, with plenty of gift shops and mid-range brand stores nearby, making it easy to explore and shop. The surrounding area felt safe and accessible. The air conditioning worked perfectly throughout our stay. There were a few inconveniences to note: the elevators only operate from the second floor upward (no downward), something to keep in mind if you're carrying heavy luggage or have mobility concerns. Accessing the room was also a bit tricky at first due to the older manual lock, which takes some effort to open smoothly. It took us over 30 mins to settle in during check-in, so with that kind of challenge, offering early check-in would have been a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, the checkout time is quite early at 10:30 AM, which is earlier than the typical 11 AM to 12 noon checkout offered by most hotels. One clear advantage of staying in a hotel is having access to a 24-hour concierge or front desk, which can provide immediate assistance at any time, something that was noticeably missing here. The room was reasonably clean during check-in but cleaning was not done daily, we had to take our garbage and dispose it in side street bin. The host was very responsive at first, which helped with settling in, though communication noticeably declined later. Our follow-up questions went unanswered.

• Robert (2/5): Not an Inn at all.. more like a boarding house stay! - Nothing I booked two rooms, they gave me one room with four beds! one bathroom to share and a tiny shared space with others not in our group. We opted not to stay there as we felt it was misrepresented on the bookings.com platform. The host did move us to another location that was very nice but uncharged us an addition 100 euros per night. She was very nice! At least she made it right so thank you!

• Siva (10/5): Amazing stay at an excellent location. - We had an excellent stay at the Imperium Inn. The location is very convenient - right next to the Vatican city walls. Saint Peter's square is hardly a 10 minute walk away, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, and many major bus stops and the Ottaviano metro are all within walking distance. The room has everything we needed - towels, toiletries, charging ports etc. and the kitchen is also well stocked with utensils and electronics. Our host Jessica was very kind, helpful and responsive. I was traveling with my elderly parents and she attended to our requests with no problems. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful stay!
• Michael (10/5): Overall our stay is good. No hassle. - All is good. Very close to St Peter’s Basilica and other tourist spots. The owner is very accommodating. It is a shared kitchen. We are group of 3 in 1 room with 1 bathroom. There is no electric key to open the gate before you enter staircase. You need to doorbell multiple times to open the gate.

• Jessica (7/5): Nice location in shared accommodation - It was close to Vatican City and had good air conditioning There were ants on the ground which was odd since it was on the third floor. Also, the people who rented the other room arrived late at night and rang the buzzer multiple times to enter which woke us up. The staff were also a bit difficult to get in touch with.
• Barry (9/5): Superb - Appartment was an ideal location, close to everything and beautiful views of the Vatican . Lovely restaurants around the area and beautiful shops The lift was broken and we had to walk up 7 flights of stairs, which was difficult for my 65 year old mum.. Also the taxi ordered by the owner was 180 euro return but the it's only 31 euro each way so don't book.via owner .
