Guest Reviews
- Gemma (8/5): Lovely stay - Quaint little cottage with good facilities and location.
- Sophie (8/5): Lovely cottage in a great location - It was a lovely little seaside cottage with a great layout for multiple families to stay together. It was very comfortable and the short walk to the beach was ideal. It was great value for money and well equipped. It was lovely and warm even though outside was a little chilly. It could have been a little cleaner. Generally it looked fine but once you had been there a while, you started to notice missed areas. For example, lot of the cutlery, crockery, and cooking equipment had been improperly cleaned and put away, so it might be worth checking this when doing a changeover clean? Also some of the cooking equipment (mainly pots and pans) could really do with replacing.
- Mick (10/5): - Really nice place to stay. Has everything you need and great location. Don't miss out if it comes up really good place
- Zoe (10/5): - Loved the fact it was like a home from home. Loved the garden and rooms where massive. Would of loved it to have had a bigger fridge freezer and a washing machine but still loved it.
- Tomas (8/5): -
- Linda (8/5): -
- Kyle (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. The cottage is wonderful Everything you need in one place, all shops are short walk dowm the street and the beach too! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend
- Laura (10/5): Perfect stay - Beautifully clean and comfortable, great location and lovely welcome pack Nothing
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, very clean and comfortable. The host Tammy was really helpful. Neighbors were lovely. A special mention to the gentleman at No2 a genuinely very nice man and enjoyed our little conversations. Thank you Tammy x
- Lee (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay thank you even though it was just for the night. Location is very conveinient, would like to - Lovely little cottage, great location and a 2 minute walk from the beach and shops! Shower needs some love, it’s just a trickle
- Jenny (10/5): 2 night stay over Christmas the cottage was decorated with a lovely Christmas tree - The cottage was very homely and everything we needed, very close to the beach.
- Sue (8/5): Flying visit to celebrate my mother in laws 90th birthday, location is great and accommodated for our needs. - Central location
Quaint cottage
Easy to gain access
Parking off road Nothing it was lovely for our purposes
- Barry (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (3/5): Overall disappointing - neither "Quaint" or "beachside" ;- cleanliness needing much more attention - 1) Responsive messages received about our uncertainties particularly about access - DESPITE several of our emailed queries being returned by mailor demon as "undeliverable" - (an issue which BOOKING.COM needs to address)
2) Comfortable Bedroom facilities - (once you could manage the stairs)
3) Plenty of biscuits ....but toilet rolls more important! =see below
4) 2 mins from the 'village' centre shops Oh dear!
1) Oven left uncleaned - grill pan soaked in grease & dirty baking foil
2) No (obvious?) instructions for obtaining hot water so had to boil kettle for washing after the first evening,: ditto oven instructions
3) No tea towels - no oven gloves
4) Just ONE toilet roll
5) Hardly "Beachside" - 50m along the lane and then steep climb over a 20m protective sea bank down to edge of dunes
6) element of "quaintness" included VERY steep stairs with narrow treads to bedrooms - (unsuitable for guests with mobility issues)
7) Abundance of flies - unfortunately for the proprietor - possibly attracted by deposits of faeces from several animals in the adjoining "cottage")
8) Back yard covered in dead leaves, moss, rotting fruit, litter etc (from previous guests?)- had to sweep on arrival
- Victoria (10/5): Amazing stay - Amazing location. Wonderful host. Everything we needed plus more, would highly recommend. Brilliant little cottage.
- Linda (10/5): Stayed over with my wife and three young children to bisit my in-laws - not so much a holiday let as a home from home - Home from home - everything you need Seaside themed interior.
