• Rosie (7/5): Would stay again 🩷 - Stylish, had lots of essentials, great location and lots of parking, free WiFi and great service. Friendly staff! Weird Smokey smell in the bathroom, we got locked out but staff fixed that and were super friendly. Sofa could be more comfortable!

• Georgia (10/5): Fab stay and would stay there again - The apartment is beautiful and very well presented. Kitchen and bathroom were immaculate and you could smell how clean it was as soon as you walked in. Lovely touch of some snacks on the desk and milk and cold water in the fridge. Easy access once you figure out the pin lock on the electronic door handle! Only downsides for us was that the bathroom smelt of stale cigarette smoke. I don't think anyone has smoked in the apartment, I think it's to do with the extractor fan. And also we had absolutely no idea where any spare bedding was kept to make up the sofa bed so my son had to make do with a throw pillow and the fur blanket off the bed. We searched but couldn't find it anywhere.

• Toni-maire (4/5): Lovely location but the amount of smoke in the apartment was awful so would not stay again - Lovely location only a 5 minute walk to the beach, nice space for parking. Good hot water and water pressure Strong smell of smoke along with other substance in the building. 6 air fresheners in the bathroom still did not disguise the smell of smoke. The smoke was more apparent when coming home and having to completely wash everything that was taken even clothes that remained in the suitcase. Didn’t appear to have been cleaned, even found peanuts on the floor. Rug was stained and dirty. Shower had a lot of limescale so trying to turn the shower on and change the temperature was an issue. Coffee machine has old pods inside along with water which we assume was from the previous person. Frying pan (not that we used it) still had egg residue on it. Cutlery was dirty. When parking resident also pointed out that we were in her private space and stated this happens frequently so better instructions would be beneficial.

• Paris (5/5): Overall a lovely large flat in a lovely safe area. Couldn't stay again because of smoking problem. - Very impressed on arrival. The apartment was spacious and airy. I noticed a number of air fresheners in the flat and bathroom. Later realised that smoke wafted through the apartment at intervals. I am a non-smoker and it was a problem for me. I enjoyed the large flat screen tv and large opening windows. The tap wobbled and no water came out. It had completely come away from the sink. I don't know how it could have been missed when cleaning. It was a chore manoeuvring it every time to get a dribble of water for the kettle. My time wasted informing owner trying to sort it arranging a plumber asap. I was supplied with packs of water. No plumber until I left. Broken tap. Smoke wafting throughout the flat. Leg of bedside table loose and wouldn't stand up. Too many air fresheners trying to disguise smoke.

• Vyacheslav (8/5): Very good - Great location very close to the sea, and the flat was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. Unfortunately, cigarette smoke from heavy smokers on the lower floor came up into the flat, which affected the air quality at times.
• Eva (10/5): Absolute brilliant stay in Clacton. Excellent flat, host and area. - Very good apartment, we really enjoyed the stay here. We’ve a one year old baby, he really enjoyed the big place to crawl around. The host was very helpful and kind. The flat have everything what you need for the stay, even have a coffee machine maker. The bed was super comfortable, we slept so good! The flat is very clean and has a nice big tv with Disney+ and Netflix. We definitely coming back here! We can just offer that place for everyone. The flat is in a very good quiet area, was close to everything.
• Peter (8/5): It was relaxing and comfortable enabling us to get around locally. - Location for us was excellent. Apartment was quiet. Rooms were clean. Furniture modern. Toaster and kettle needed cleaning before use. Unfortunately a lot of small flies in apartment on a daily basis. We had to buy fly killer spray to keep them down.

• Barbara (10/5): Photos of the apartment don't do it justice, it's stunning, yet so practical. Everything you need. - The lovely Fiona met us with the keys and to show us the ropes. Provision of key code for door made access so simple for the rest of the stay.

• Woodhams (10/5): Weekend get away - The apartment was very well decorated and felt so relaxing just as a break away should do. Would deffiently return again there was nothing missing at this property it had everything you need and close to the beach walking distance to bars and restaurants

The hallways smelt a bit Smokey, the cups had a crack in them. Think the shower needs a shower curtain at the end just to stop water getting everywhere as the water doesn't come straight down.

• Stephanie (10/5): A perfect weekend away! - Perfectly sized property for us as an adult couple with our 7yo little boy. Apartment was super clean and there were plenty of towels etc. A short walk from the seafront and easy walking distance (15mins) from Clacton Pier and all other amenities. Communication with the host was excellent and ease of access to the property was also perfect. Amazing that there was onsite parking too. Will definitely be back.
• Loraine (10/5): Lovely comfortable stay in a beautiful apartment. - Absolutely beautiful. Clean, well equipped and super comfortable. Great location, quiet but not far from clacton pier. Great communication with the landlord. Perfect 👌!!! Looking forward to returning in the future.

• Steve (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was exceptional and provided everything we needed and was a short stroll to the beach. Plenty of free parking if you wanted to drive. You need a degree to get terrestrial tv.
• Nikki (10/5): really lovely apartment - Really nice apartment. Easy to find, good parking. Very clean, very comfortable. The little welcome pack was lovely. The hosts were easy to contact. Just to mention it is a smart TV so you have to sign into channels to watch them. not a big issue once you get used to it. There is very little storage space and the wardrobe in the bedroom was so full of spare bedding etc that hanging space was minimal. I also ended up moving bits to get an empty drawer. Again, not a bit issue but the kitchen equipment is also minimal. No Tea towel for drying/getting hot stuff out the oven. only crockery available, no bowls for microwaving, which if you eat out or get take aways is not an issue, but i wanted to cook healthy food and there was not much equipment to do it with

• Glenda (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely cosy apartment with all the facilities you need. I was really impressed with the welcome complimentary gifts. Great location, close to the station, shops, and short walk to the seafront.
• Sureerat (10/5): Exceptional - I like an accomodation is very clean and quiet also close to the train station. I would recommend to my friends and family. I don't like it quite far from the shop and restaurants.
• Najette (10/5): Fabulous accommodation and customer service at a great price. - Absolutely stunning stay! I loved the 2 nights I spent here and will book again! This is a luxury accommodation with high-end home-wear, furnishings and decor at an affordable price. The location is superb for walking to the beach and into town. The house is in a lovely quiet close and communication with StayLux was efficient, very welcoming and helpful. And finally the additional touches of kindness with the laid table of crockery, gifted treats and toiletries were a really nice surprise and very much appreciated. I’m looking forward to returning. Thank you StayLux! There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
• Hansa (10/5): Just like the listing, ideal location - The description was spot on. There was nothing unexpected. Everything was lovely and clean. All the amenities worked and were easy to use. The location was ideal for our needs as was the facility to park. It was our first time visiting Clacton on Sea, but if we come back I'm sure that we will look at staying here again. The host communicated well with all the information required prior to arrival. Would we recommend it - yes Would we return - yes The only thing that we didn't like was the weather. Which is out of everyone's remit
