Guest Reviews
- Dominique (9/5): Wonderfully clean, well maintained, excellent facilities. You could tell the hosts really cared - N/A Dining chairs bit hard
Not enough bedside lights for reading
- Michael (8/5): All good, cheers - Location was what we wanted and the host was spot on with the communication. WiFi signal was weak in the bedroom.
- Julia (9/5): My new home away from home - Liked · I originally booked this apartment to give me the freedom to come and go as I pleased whilst taking part in the Hebden Bridge Open Studios event, forming the perfect base.
I had intended to cook for myself, but due to the long days and early starts decided to eat out, but I was spoilt for choice of restaurants within the area and the proximity to HB which meant I could walk along the canal if I didn't want to take the car.
The public car park was closer than stated within the welcome email.
This will be my first choice whenever I need to stay within the area. It was a bit of a struggle getting into the lock box, especially for someone with no nails, and the lighting and position of the box was a bit challenging for me.
Not being able to park closer to the location to load and unload the car.
Didn't realise it was above a chinese, so wasn't expecting the stairs to access the apartment

- Zillah (8/5): Once we’d got the heating working and also the hob we were happier. - Breakfast was not offered so can’t rate that. Very comfy bed. Good kitchen equipment. Very central to bus stop and parking. Comfy settee. The decor was lovely. Exceptionally clean. Need Larger duvet on bed. Stairs very long and steep. No second exit in case of fire.
- Tracey (10/5): Solo lady visiting nearby family - So cute & cosy & very clean. Thoughtful little touches.
Perfect location to visit my family & very quiet with beautiful views out of the kitchen window.
Welcome book very informative 👍
Shower amazing, so powerful. Not a dislike or complaint but bigger bath towels would be great

- Katherine (9/5): A comfortable and clean flat in a good location. - The flat was perfect for my needs as a single person and with no car as the location was near the shops and public transport. It was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering its location at the back of a main road. I’d definitely stay again if visiting friends in the region.
- Martin (8/5): We were lucky to have good weather and enjoyed some lovely peaceful walks along the Rochdale Canal. - Very convenient for food shops, cafes, pubs and public transport. No real issues although compared with a similar property we stayed in earlier this year in Ilkley, it was rather cramped.

The flat was fully equipped with everything we needed throughout our stay. Early morning noises outside (assuming due to being near to shops/car park) which woke us up prematurely

- Aislingmac (9/5): A great spot for easy access to Hebden Bridge without the crowds. - Super clean and newly refurbished apartment, right off the main street. Close to the shop and some nice local pubs, with the train station a 5 minute walk away. Great host communication and a quiet, comfortable night's sleep. The only small issue we had was that the smart tv struggled with connectivity, but we only stayed one night so this didn't pose any problems for us.
- Tracey (10/5): Lovely find - Beautiful little flat. 5 mins from town. Owners were really helpful and overall it was a perfect stay.
- Stacey (10/5): Gorgeous apartment. Can't wait to visit again! -
- Michael (10/5): Short stay to see area. - It was beautifully decorated and had everything there we needed. There was plenty of room. The property was situated in a great position with transport links and plenty of areas to explore. Everything was really good.
- Jemma (10/5): Beautiful apartment - The apartment was lovely. Clean, tidy and well presented.
The host provided excellent suggestions and details on local attractions.
I was really impressed. Nothing.
- Matthew (9/5): Would stay here again & recommend to friends & family. - Very clean, nicely decorated & cosy. Was no recycling & could perhaps do with a few board games to take this up to a 10/10!
- Nadia (7/5): Good -
- Jamie (10/5): Would definitely stay again - Great stay in a clean and comfy modern apartment
- Ruth (10/5): Smart accommodation - comfy and cosy. - Everything was new and spotless. Very well equipped. Great shower. We had the one bedroom and two bedroom properties. Would have preferred kingsize to double beds Everything else was just fabulous.
- Matt (9/5): Comfortable and convenient - Very clean, warm and comfortable apartment in a location that was perfect for our needs. Everything feels very new, the bathroom is great, and there's plentiful free parking outside. There are a couple of cafes and a good pub almost adjacent, but the apartment is very quiet as it doesn't face the road. We will definitely be back. The only very minor snag was that we couldn't get the smart TV to connect, but it wasn't our plan to watch anything much anyway
- Nancy (10/5): Perfect property for two in a great location. - Very clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished. Had everything we needed in a great location.
- Gwen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Carole (9/5): A cosy stay in a lovely area - We didn’t actually stay in the property booked as there was a minor plumbing problem however the host gave us the other apartment which was the same but with an extra bedroom. Not sure where we would have stayed if that had been booked but the host kept us informed throughout. Easy parking at the back of the property and handy key code for access. Everything new and clean in the flat and great views too from the kitchen lounge. Bed was extremely comfortable and all warm and cosy. We decided to have a takeaway and there are indian and chinese (both cash only) both two minutes walk away plus a sainsburys. 5 mins drive from Hebdon Bridge too. Nothing we didn’t like. Just to point out, not too bad for us but there are two sets of stairs the second a little steep. Also a small coffee table in the lounge would be helpful and bags in the bins and some table mats as we worried we’d mark the table.
- Harry (9/5): Superb -
- Wall (10/5): Lovely stay! - Everything looked good and was comfortable. Great facilities and tea and coffee provided. There was even and washing machine, so great for longer stays. On the whole, we had a lovely stay and will certainly stay there again for family stays. Central to Mytholmroyd, and therefore close to pubs and facilities. Key pick-up could have been slicker. We had the wrong PIN, and our flat address was 5a, not 5 as specified in the arrival instructions (5 is a shop in the front of the property). That said, the owner was easily contactable for advice. It could also have been included in the arrival instructions where to park - there is actually a huge car park behind property. Don't forget that some guests will be arriving in the dark.
