• Stoner (10/5): Best Hostel Ever! - The beds are super comfortable with excellent privacy curtains. Lots of room between beds for your stuff and a locker underneath. Personal fan and light in your bed as well as a cubbyhole to put a few personal items. Breakfast was excellent 2 eggs made how you like, fruit, sausage, tomatoes and cucumbers also, coffee, tea, and milk. Staff was super helpful. Laundry service available cheap and they help you book transport to next destination cheap. It was incredible.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with tours, transportation, and recommendations around the city. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I also appreciated the daily cleaning and the overall atmosphere of the hostel. They offer great tour options like Ha Giang Loop and Sapa, and everything was well organized. The free breakfast was a nice bonus, and the location is very convenient for exploring Hanoi. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a social, affordable, and well-managed hostel. • GEORGIA (10/5): - Great place to stay! The facilities are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is included and super good to start the day. Also, the staff is really nice and helpful. From the housekeeping, to the breakfast lady and receptionists, everyone does a great job

• Ožbejj (9/5): - Free breakfast is a bit above average. Beds are comfortable with lots of own storage space (under the bed and also shelfs), each has its own fan. Location is fine. Toilets are quite small if you are a bit larger human.
• Vinciane (9/5): Very good ! - Very good location in a "quiet" street, away from the main road. Very friendly and helpful staff, they helped me book tours and transportation. And when I had an issue with my locker, they were super quick to propose a solution. Beds are big and matress comfortable, with light, shelves, fan and plug. AC works well (and you can ask them to reduce it if needed). Female dorm with private bathroom (x2 showers and sink, 2x WC). The hostel, rooms and bathroom are clean, I saw them clean everyday. Nice rooftop with view on the cathedral. Free water, and breakfast included (toasts, jam, fruits, eggs...). I recommend ! Each bed has it's own big locker at the bottom but they are a bit dirty and hard to reach. Also my lock was completely destroyed and even when they fixed it it didn't look very safe. A better system or new locker doors would make sense. My friend's locker work well though. The rooftop has a lot of potential but looks a bit abandonned. Very quiet and nice view still, tables and chairs and cute plants.
• Markéta (8/5): Overal very good place to spend a couple of nights in Hanoi - We liked that the hostel was located int the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The staff was really helpful with arranging transport from airport and also to our next destination Ninh Binh. They also exchanged our money from dollars to Vietnamese dong. We also liked that underneath the beds were lockers where we could easily fit our backpack and also smaller (carry on) suitcase. The showers were appropriately cleaned by a cleaner every single morning. I would say that it was a good price=quality ratio. The fact that anyone could come into our shared room - it would be better if the hostel arranged keys for the front door of each room that is shared, so only people sleeping in the room could get in.

• Yami.B (8/5): - La ubicación es muy buena, que tenga desayuno. Y la habitacion aunque es compartida que tenga baño privado es muy práctica. Tiene cortinas en las camas, toma corriente y ventilador. El baño cerca de recepción esta siempre limpio. Estuve 5 dias en el hostel y el baño y las duchas daba la sensación de no haber sido limpiados en dias. Por lo que hubo algunos dias que olían mal.

• Stefanie (6/5): - Sehr freundliches Personal. Man kann Touren wie den Ha Giang Loop oder Ha Long Bay inklusive Transporten dahin direkt im Hostel buchen. Günstiger als über Klook etc. Das Frühstück war super lecker. Täglich frische Früchte, man kann sich Eier in verschiedene Variationen zubereiten lassen und Toast mit Marmelade. Die Betten und Kissen sind sehr hart. Die Bettdecke müffelt ein wenig, aber nicht schlimm. Im Badezimmer sind die Fugen ums Waschbecken schimmlig.

Mich hat das Hostel in Summe einfach nicht angesprochen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schmal & finster. Das Schließfach ist am Boden - meines war sehr dreckig und voll mit Haaren. Die Badezimmer könnten sauberer sein.

• Eliot (5/5): Okay for One Night Due to the Location and Price, but Cleanliness Is an Issue - Great location in the center of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The staff is really friendly, and it’s possible to book many different activities through the hostel. The price is low, especially with breakfast included. The main problem is cleanliness. The bathroom isn’t clean at all and is very small. It’s in the same room as the bed and has poor ventilation, so there’s a strong smell of humidity in the room. My bedsheets weren’t really clean either. The breakfast is decent but nothing special, especially when you know you can eat an amazing pho for €1 on the street.

• Hamid (10/5): If you’re a backpacker, this place feels like home - I originally booked 5 nights and had such a great experience that I extended my stay. I truly loved this hostel and highly recommend it. I even shared it with my followers on social media without any compensation — just because I genuinely enjoyed it. The breakfast is good, I just hope it’s available until 11 AM.
• Rory (6/5): Okay for a one night stay - Good central location, nice staff, good breakfast, comfy bed and in the dorms and useful to have private light and fan, as well as space to put belongings next to the mattress. The aisle between dorm beds was way too narrow and there were bags everywhere because the lockers are too short for people to fit their backpacks into, so there is an obstacle course on the floor which was really annoying. The bathroom is also very small and you can hardly fit in the cubicles.

They were very sympathetic and understanding of the situation and allowed me a bed to stay in every night when I came back from hospital even though I came back after the check out time. By far the most friendly hostel I’ve been to. Highly recommend!!

It’s not a very social hostel, but it has all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. I planned to stay for a few days and ended up extending.

• Pamela (7/5): A hostel with a good price but not many opportunities to socialise. - The location of the hostel is ideal if you want to be closer to the train street rather than to the pub street. The staff were marvellous, super helpful and polite. Breakfast was basic but very decent considering the price (a nice lady will even prepare you eggs in your preferred way at no extra cost, there's also fruit, coffee, juice, and toasts with spreads). As it is not a party hostel, you probably won't struggle to have a quiet sleep. All the services expected from a hostel are provided too (e.g. laundry, tours). The toilets/shower rooms weren't the best, and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. I found it strange that they had CCTV inside the room, but I suppose that's to keep your belongings safe (I just closed my bed's curtains to change and didn't find it too problematic). Also, there is very little room to socialise at this hostel. But overall, it's cheap and welcoming.

• BRENDA MICAELA (10/5): Highly recommended, we will stay here again! - The hostel is very well located; you can get there by bus from the airport. The breakfast was very good. We booked the Ha Giang Loop tour through them, and everything was excellent—the hotels, the meals, and the transportation. The receptionist coordinated everything for us in a matter of hours. We were really surprised by the size of the room—very large—and the spacious beds. We also hired the laundry service and everything went very well =). Thank you for all!!

Je recommande d’y aller pour les passages à Hanoï en tant que Backpacker 2 petits points négatifs : les espaces communs sont assez simples et les chambres sont sombres.

• Kim-Justine (8/5): In Ordnung, verbesserungswürdig - Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer und Bad weitesgehend sauber. Ruhige Nacht. Heiße Dusche. Sehr gutes Frühstück - kleines Buffet; Toast mit Toaster, Butter, Marmelade, Tomate, Gurke, Fertigsaucen, Banane, Maracuja, Wassermelone, Saft und eine frische Eierspeise zum auswählen. Sehr lecker, vorallem das Omelett. Leider nicht sehr transparent. Beim einchecken Zusatz bzw. Pfandgebühr, falls man ein Handtuch möchte - Geld bekommt man beim auschecken aber zurück. Tragischer war leider der Schlüssel für das Schließfach den man auch (nur) gegen Pfand bekommt. Im Zimmer angekommen, stellte sich das "Fach" unter dem Bett als sehr schmutzig und eklig heraus und die Türe war auch defekt also unbrauchbar. Bettdecke war auch etwas unhygienisch, sodass ich diese nicht nahm und die Nächte dann fror. Toilettenpapier nicht immer da. Geruch im Bad leider mmer leicht nach Erbrochenem.

• jo le (6/5): For a short stay it's ok. - Really nice and helpful staff. Location of the hostel in great. Who is not used to salty breakfast doesn't have any options, just jam and bread :( Cleaning needs to be improved.

• Nik (8/5): - It's in central location They need to improve and maintain the toilet and bathroom stalls better. Make them more spacious. Make sure all stalls have toilet paper, the water does not backup etc. The only seating arrangement is at the bottom where they serve breakfast and everyone also smokes just sitting right there. You forced toto inhale second hand smoke. They should either make people smoke outside on the main road far away for entrance or provide alternate seating arrangement for non smokers.
• Nik (8/5): - In a lively part of town, close to most attractions, and a fair number of cheap eating places. The bed is huge and has a personal fan, lamp and charging points. They also give flimsy, but free toiletries like brush, paste, comb etc. The staff was nice and helpful. They need to improve the toilet and shower room. They try to give as little space as possible to these making them uncomfortable. The toilet stalls are so small that you can't get up without actually having to open the door. The pot itself is small and short. Some stalls didn't have toilet paper. The facilities were made keeping small and short Vietnamese in mind, not tall people from other countries. The bathroom stall was plugged and backing up.
