Guest Reviews
- James (9/5): Great stay - Nice cosy flat in the centre of St Kilda with everything you need for a short stay. Had a problem with the door lock during our stay but the host contacted a locksmith quickly who fixed it very promptly. Knew this before arriving so brought eye masks the blinds do not keep the light out so take eye masks if like me you need darkness to sleep.
- Allan (9/5): Very good location near the beach and there were also walks and coffee shops - Good location and liked the garden room Nothing
- Brigitta (10/5): -
- Kerry (10/5): Awesome location, brilliant outlook, super trendy! - So trendy, beautifully styled & well equipped & awesome location. The best people watching looking over a park, water views and Luna park quick stroll to the waterfront
- Lydia (10/5): Best stay in Melbourne for us - Absolutely beautiful and perfect location. Clean, little detail that the owner added made it special. Very comfortable and relaxing. Liked it all
- Philip (1/5): Very disappointing when we paid $920 for 3 nights - not worth it at all - The lighting in the bathroom was unacceptable - one tiny down light - impossible to see or attempt to put makeup on
The blinds would not pull up on the balcony- the cords were broken/split and only one side would pull up, so unable to open
The stove top was dirty
The knives were dirty
The rug was dirty
The sink drain in the bathroom was kissing so the plug would not seal at all
The sink in the kitchen would not seal so we couldn’t wash up properly and we were told we had to wash and put away our dishes prior to leaving!!!
The balcony chairs had sticky residue on them
None of this was acceptable for over $300 per night - we expected alot more
- Marie (2/5): Wouldn’t stay again. - Good location. No extra coffee pods despite advertising coffee machine.
Carpet smelt like animal urine.
No laundry detergent for the washing machine.
Very expensive for what you get.
- Mardene (8/5): Great location and neat unit - Location is great, close to everything. Clean and lovely unit Could do with some block out curtains for a good night rest
- jane (6/5): Wouldn’t stay again but loved the view - The inside of the property as per photos on listing. Bed was comfortable and LOVED the view. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants and beach. Extremely rude customer service from Chris the Night Manager. He was right I was wrong end of story.
If traveling by car parking is a definite consideration especially if you arrive over the weekend.
The photos from the listing are deceptive of the outside surrounds.
The carpet, kitchen floors and enclosed verandah floors seemed dirty to me.
The shower is suitable for a very tall person.
Nicely styled but cheap items.
At nearly 200/night and that was discounted I find it rude to be asked to vacuum, wash floors and take the rubbish out.
- Kate (9/5): Overall great experience, great spot, beautiful apartment. We will be back for sure! - Great location. Beautifully styled apartment. Easy check in and out. Close to the main cafes and restaurants in St Kilda. The pillows need updating. The apartment had a strict no smoking policy but the smoke detectors were covered with plastic and you could smell smoke.
- Angelique (8/5): Lovely apartment in great location. - Beautiful natural light Unable to modify booking
- Kristy (10/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): -
- Matt (9/5): Great location away from the city but still only a 20min tram ride. Everything you need very close by. Will stay again - Location is perfect
- Alastair (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (10/5): Amazing views and Exceeded my expectations - Amazing location, I attended an event at the Palais which was so close. The apartment was so clean & stylish… LOVED the artwork.
Check in was easy & good communication from host.
- Tony (9/5): Good place for a short stay in St Kilda. - Excellent location, plenty of space, and comfortable. Lack of accessible power outlets. Sensitive smoke alarm made cooking in the apartment an issue.
- James (9/5): Amazing view, access to all the action in St Kilda. Very tidy clean apartment for short or long stay - Amazing view, Central location to Luna Park and Ackland Street food and shopping, Bars and then 2-minute walk to St Kilda Pier. Walks along the Water and excellent Restaurants and Bars, New Pier and Vibe if area just out of city.
A very tidy apartment, warm in winter with Sun in the morning and fantastic afternoon or morning in the Deck or Sunroom area.
Excellent Shower, Bed and Mini Bar area. Nothing. All good.
- Ben (8/5): Very close and handy to everything - Location Lock box hidden but should have read instructions
- Alan (9/5): Our plan was to stay in St Kilda for it's relaxed vibe and visit the city when we wanted to. - Great location handy to shops, cafés and trams.
The bed was very comfortable so slept well. It was a bit noisier than we are used to but we soon adapted.
- Melissa (3/5): Advertised incorrectly 3 star at most and price should reflect this. - Upon entering we noticed a large round crack on the sliding door - we were told this was being rectified but takes time, the least they could have done was made this clear before staying and offer a discounted rate due to advertising as a 5 star experiences and giving a 3 star experience. The blinds are very dusty and one set completely broken. Coffee machine didn’t work. When sitting on lounge noticed all the garbage in the crack as pictured. The quilt had a tear in it. Screaming from the roller coaster was in competition with screaming from the street. At $1009 for 3 nights - I do not recommend this apartment.
- Les (10/5): Brilliant and we will be back. - Central and had everything you’d want for a couple. Could do with 2 keys.
- Anna (10/5): I’ll be back! - In the heart of St Kilda, this spacious, airy and cool apartment is one of the best I’ve booked on Booking.com. Fantastic public transport links to the airport too.
