• Hana (9/5): Good value, clean, comfortable and a recommended stay. - Very comfortable and clean 3 bedroom house, with everything we needed. Clean and very good value for money. It's not super close to town or much around the area but we had a car so it didn't matter. The toilet in the ensuite wasn't flushing properly but we let the property manager know.

• Samantha (9/5): Enjoyable - Easy non contact check in/out process. Loved that the door lock is digital so I didnt have to worry about losing the house key. Communication with Aravin was very good, he was quick to reply to my messages. Location was perfect for our sports event and close to everything. Property had everything we needed for our short stay. Complimentary drinks in the fridge on arrival was appreciated. Definitely had a homely feel to the place. Shampoo/Conditioner and body wash was stocked up in both bathrooms. House was clean and tidy. Beds were comfy, pillows not so much. The floorboards were cold and loud when walking around the house so I would recommend bringing slippers if you stay during cold season. Wifi was available. I can tell the owners put alot of thought into making our stay comfortable and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

• Ewen (8/5): This was the second time we have stayed at the premises. Overall, very good. - Location was good for us as we were competing at Eaglehawk Bowls club. The tap over the kitchen sink. - twice when moving the tap it came out of the holder and we had water everywhere. The fry pan was poorly balanced.
• Peter (10/5): Quiet, comfortable, great condition, great value - The property is in new condition relative to bathrooms and kitchen and interior, nicely uncluttered. The property is a little bit small (it's not a full sized house), but not too small, the space is well laid out, I was a bit worried it was going to be too small from the pictures, but it wasn't. Beds were comfortable. It's in a nice quiet street and there's plenty of options a short drive away. It suited what we needed very well and was great value for money. The owner was always quick to respond. Would stay again very happily. No complaints.

• Clare (4/5): I may as well have booked a hotel! - Apon arrival and at first glance the property was delightful. The security code opposed to using a key is a good idea. T.V with Netflix. The realisation that the basics of what to expect in a home were not provided was a major downfall. kitchen had no microwave bowls & no pots to steam thus no cooking healthy dinners / anything microwaveable unless on a plate. Tiny dessert bowls - no cereal, porridge etc. 1 night you could get away with but not multiple. I wasted food and had to eat out. I gave feedback to this on the day & the owner apologised & said it would be addressed - fine. Until I also realised that the bedding was not appropriate for winter in Bendigo! Kmart summer sheets with the thinnest, lowest quality doona on each bed - clearly the owner has never slept in them. I had to use the lounge blanket as a wrap (disgusting) And there weren't enough for each bed. The lounge room had a fold out picnic bench for a table, foot stool or to sit on and lean against the wall? Dining room chairs - outdoor plastic chairs. Shampoo & cond. supplied but why no soap? Average cutlery comes with rust & tiny Kmart toaster (don't bring loaf). I think I was warranted to ask for compensation due to an insufficient kitchen & proper bedding. The owner asked how much I was asking for. I gave reasons (unexpected costs / inconvenience) said $100. Reply "I'll give you $50 if you don't give a bad review." I had no intentions of giving a bad review if i had good customer service i would have left it at that. He then accused me of extortion! Thankfully for me, the points of proof were not met! For him - It's black & white. He then told Booking.com that he will rent because of me & that there were heaters in the house - that's not bedding! I was not compensated for. Damn I wish I didn't put the bins out when i left!!
• Julian (8/5): Value for money, no fuss. - Lots of beds with kitchen and laundry features. Ample parking for 2 cars. Contactless checking and checkout no hassles. Small room didn’t have heater
• Debra (5/5): Good location, but needs a few tweaks - Property was clean, good location, but would only suggest if you don’t want to utilize the house for anything more than sleeping Unfortunately it was a little underwhelming, needs a much bigger couch as a 2 seater just isn’t enough when it sleeps 5 people. Plastic outdoor chairs as dining room chairs were to chunky and unstable and should be outside not inside. The little dymo labels everywhere (they are literally in every wall) telling you not to do this and that were a bit much and almost made you feel uncomfortable, maybe tone these back a little as they are tacky and rude especially the one on the bed heads stating ‘please don’t stain our linen’ not sure that’s required. Even the cutlery basket had a label stating ‘Do not take cutlery or you will be charged’ it’s just all a bit much. Need to invest in better linen also as it’s all cheap & thin and only supplying one pillow is not enough. If these little things were fixed your property would be great. I did notice in your guest reviews on-site in the little book and online have all made the same complaint so not sure why the owners aren’t listening.
• Charlotte (7/5): Good - It's a sweet cottage that has been renovated so it is definitely character filled. I wish there were windows in the bedrooms but the beds were comfy and the shower was nice.

• Erbhie (8/5): Great location, too many notes but overall we were content. - Central location, everything apart from the AC was clean and tidy. The complimentary drinks were really helpful after a long days travel. There are little 'notes' and 'labels' everywhere. Literally every PowerPoint, above each bed, in the kitchen etc. it made us feel uncomfortable in the sense we didn't want to touch anything. I suggest just putting all of these "rules" in one place on one sheet of paper and leaving them somewhere central instead of all over the house. Also, the aircon in the bedroom needs a very deep clean.

• Suzzie (8/5): Great affordable stay close to the CBD - Beautiful house, staff was great. Great location for the main town & iga just down the road! The couch was terrible, didn’t realise until the last night it was a futon style and could go down, but as a couch it was uncomfortable. Might be good to upgrade to a L shape with a sofa bed or something to really take advantage of the lounge room space!

Proximity to the city centre was appreciated, combined with a close supermarket for ad hoc purchases. Very easy to secure and straightforward instructions for accessing the property. Finally, we appreciated the privacy. We couldn't locate instructions for the TV, nor find an option to play our own music. Very small inconveniences!

• Serena (8/5): Great little house in Long Gully - The house was close to Bendigo. It had all the comforts of home. The only suggestion would be to have a wardrobe or close rack in the unsuited bedroom.
• Gopa (10/5): Comfortable stay not too far from the centre - A house in a quiet suburb not too far from the city centre. The property has all it needs for a comfortable stay.
• Laura (10/5): Home away from home :) - Fantastic little home away from home only a 5min drive away from all o f Bendigo's main attractions. We spent just short of a week here. We love how much space we had at the property and how it was all clean. The inside has all been renovated nicely and has everything you need. It was very easy to get into using the Yale locking system, I loved it so much I want one for my own home, lol. Aravin is a gracious host who is quick to respond, friendly and approachable. Thank you for providing us a wonderful little home to come back to at the end of our busy days. Would recommend to anyone travelling in groups or with family. I loved it all...these are only suggestions. Maybe consider adding a hairdryer and a second smaller couch or armchair in the lounge for bigger groups staying as we didn't quite have enough space as a family of 5 to sit and watch a movie together.

Bigger than I expected too My toddler was able to unlock front and back door. An accessible key or form of childproofing would be highly recommended for this otherwise very family friendly home. An option to have two pillows to sleep with would be nice too.

• Debbie (8/5): Close to everything, quiet street. Owners were great keeping up messages to help out. - Close to soccer grounds and Bendigo. The house was great although the little room was squashed in a sliding door would be great. No other problems
• Heather (7/5): Lovely renovated home close to showgrounds - Newly renovated minors cottage very nicely done. Perfect location for our trip as we were attending event at the show grounds which was walking distance. Easy keyless entry. It appears this is a new short-term stay and still needs some amenities to be reviewed or updated. Home sleeps up to five people. However, dining and lounge area only caters to three people. Once these are addressed, it will be a lovely place to stay.
