The hotel is located a short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. The room was everything we needed for our stay, with two outdoor areas to relax in, a fridge and air con.

David (10/5): A Great Choice in Fantastic Pollonia. - Lovely people who run the accommodation. So very friendly, helpful and imparted a sense of fun. We arrived at 4a.m because of an unexpected ferry strike and the room was all ready, open and easy to find. Pollonia is a real gem of a place and this place gave us great view and easy walking everywhere. Free, easy parking. Beds were a little hard, but room and balconies were fabulous.

The location is great if you want a nice quiet place to stay. Not much really, maybe the shower was a bit small for me.

We returned after 10 years of being in different locations - she remembered us and nothing was too much trouble. A really nice place to go and unwind for a few days.

Giselle (7/5): Bot what we expected - The owners are nice and friendly. There is another Ostria Hotel near the port and it caused confusion. This one is far in Polonia and not near the port. The room is very simple. The bathroom is not well cleaned and the shower did not stick on the wall, we had to hold it to shower. The breakfast is a industrialized cake with coffee and hot water. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
KHOLOUD (10/5): We Loved our Stay! - The room is specious and clean & simply decorated. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well and room cleaned daily. The room had normal towels & shower gel, open closet and fridge. Our room was on ground floor & had 2 balconies, one had a partial sea view & other on backyard and both has a small seating. There is a designated parking area for the hotel. The location was amazing! With few steps only you find a small beach & beautiful sunset spot (must), the location is serene. Around 10min walk (no incline) you can reach the restaurants stripe & you can find pharmacy, bakery, car/ATV-rental and groceries. Also along the walk you can find beaches around the port area. We loved the hosts they were friendly & helpful & arranged the transportations. Nothing

Prices in Milos are not cheap. We went to some taverns in various beaches and for 30 mls oilive oil they charged us extra. The beaches are super lovely but access by car is challenging. Authorities should make more safety barracades, especially in 90 degrees turns and narrow 2-way streets which are barely enough for one car let alone two

La habitación estaba impecable, y situada en una ubicación idílica, junto al mar con un atardecer maravilloso. Nos dieron buena información sobre qué playas visitar y dónde comer, lo que hizo que aprovecháramos al máximo el viaje. Además, nos iban dejando pequeños detalles que hicieron nuestra estancia aún más especial y nos facilitaron todo lo necesario para pasar un día perfecto en la playa, por ejemplo sombrillas. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveríamos y que recomendamos totalmente.
Lily (10/5): The best accommodation in Milos!!! - The property was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were so cute and very traditionally decorated. The aircon was wonderful snd we were lucky enough for sea view and sunset view. The wonders were just amazing, so helpful with securing a hire car that day we arrived and told us so much valuable info about the island. They provided some yummy food and drinks in the mornings which was perfect to start our day. Thankyou so much for such wonderful accommodation! Nothing at all!!!

Family run small hotel, it is not fancy but has what you need and rooms are clean! There's beach supplies like.umbrellas and chairs free of charge to use, the owners are so lovely, and coffee available each morning in reception. Pollonia is a lovely spot to stay on Milos! The beds are quite hard and we could feel the springs but otherwise it was a good stay.

Stanza meravigliosa con due balconcini esterni a due passi dal mare (letteralmente) dove poter pranzare o cenare, accogliente e rifornita di ogni tipo di comfort. Michael (10/5): Exceptional all around!!!! - The location was ideal being very quiet and only minutes to Pollonia. The property was very well kept and clean. The best part was Elpida and Vaggelis! They are a phenomenal team who provide exceptional service and attention to details. They help you plan your time on the island with tips and recommendations that made our stay like no other. They are extremely friendly and personable. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many places all over the world and hands down this was the best experience and service we have ever had. Would highly recommend staying with them and sure to return! Everything was great!

Amanda (7/5): - Location was amazing. We could see and hear the sea. Owner was very helpful. Quiet town, but enough restaurants, great bakery nearby. The bed was very uncomfortable and bedroom was too small for our suitcases. We had to go to reception for a tea in the morning, I like to have a kettle in my room.
Hannah (10/5): - The brother-sister duo who run these apartments are thoughtful and delightful, and they made me feel very at home as a solo traveler. I will miss them! The apartment had great AC, nice outdoor seating with sunset views, and is steps to the ocean for even better sunsets. Parking is conveniently located nearby, and the Wi-Fi connection worked perfectly for making calls. They were quick to respond to any messages and would certainly fix any questions or issues that might arise during a stay. Pollonia was a nice place to be based, with many restaurant options and a kid-friendly beach within walking distance. Highly recommend a stay at Ostria Vento!
Sara (9/5): Nice stay in Pollonia - Nice accommodation, 5 mins walking from Restaurants ecc.. incl. with easy and big parking. We had a room on the ground floor with very nice view over the sunset. The owner is very nice. They provide some coffee/tea and some cakes/cookies every morning in the reception room. The bathroom would need a bit of do-over and some more care. It was quite old.

Sharon (1/5): Never again…. - Nothing The job was dirty, there was no room to prep any food (not that we would have anyway). The waste pipe for the room above us (we were in room 7) ran through our room and was very loud whenever other guests flushed the toilet. No proper running water in the ‘kitchen’. One night we had no hot water at all in shower. Bathroom was very small and you can see from my photos, very dated and old. Beds were rock hard. One thing I suppose was at least the air conditioning worked. Out of the 7 hotels we have booked on our trip, this was the second most expensive. The Kythnos Bay hotel in Kythnos was cheaper, much much nice and very contemporary and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was an excellent and included in the price there too! Elpida, the owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming—she made us feel like family and gave us great tips for exploring the island. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. The location is perfect—right across from the beach and only a few minutes’ walk to restaurants. Highly recommended!

Janet (10/5): Excellent - This is a great place to stay. The people running it are extremely friendly and helpful. My husband was a bit ill one day and they looked after us really well. The room was quiet with a decent balcony and a sea view. (I really liked that the shower was walled, instead of needing a shower curtain.) The sea was only 1 minute away if that, and the shops and restaurants were a short walk along the seaside. The car park was big and very close. There were home cooked cakes/biscuits every day which were delicious. What really made our stay so excellent was the hospitality of Elpida and Vangelis. Thank you! I definitely recommend this place - and it’s great value for money. There was nothing at all that I didn’t like.

Shower worked well, as did the AC. We had a cute little patio area out front too. The location was great, just steps to the beach and only a 10 minute walk to town. The best part of our stay were Elpida and Vangelis, the people who run the hotel. They were so kind, accommodating and gave us the best recommendations to enjoy Milos!

Leur aide est précieuse pour tenter de faire un organisation de votre séjour, des lieux a voir, des meilleurs restaurants et pour la location d'une voiture ( que je suggère fortement). J'ai passé des heures à jaser avec eux à la réception. On se sent bien, comme à la maison. La chambre est bien. Ils peuvent mettre a votre disposition la vaisselle nécessaire dans votre chambre, au besoin.

Kylie (10/5): Elpida was a great host which made my stay in Milos. A must stay with stunning sunset views. - I loved the location, views of the beach to watch stunning sunsets. Elpida was very friendly and nothing was a bother. My ferry arrived late and she kept the reception open for me and immediately made me feel welcome. Rooms were clean and a great size. Family run establishment . A must stay in Milos. I will hopefully be back one day. Nothing.

Maroney - Five Foot Fitness (10/5): Beautiful getaway that was relaxing! - Very cute place with lovely details and just a short walk to restaurants- room was just steps from the water! The owner was so lovely and kind - made coffee and cookies every morning! Excellent communication and accommodated our super late (early morning) check in!

Tania (9/5): Excellent location with wonderful host. - Excellent location in a quiet area close to the water with beautiful sunsets. It was an easy walk to the town for restaurants, shops, market etc. The host was so lovely making me feel at home, providing information on where to explore and interested in hearing what I’d been up to. There was free coffee, tea, juice and cakes in the mornings and one day she even left some figs in my fridge. I loved this location and the whole island of Milos. The bathroom was a little on the small side.

Carter johnson (10/5): Loved staying at this apartment - - The location was excellent 1 min to the beach and 2 mins walking into town for provisions or local restaurants . The lady who owns the property is so nice charming and gives of her time to explain tourist destinations and areas to explore.

AlbertoDav95 (10/5): Trato inmejorable y buena ubicación. - El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado y tiene mucho encanto. La habitación está muy bien, con amplia terraza y fácil aparcamiento. De la gestión del alojamiento se encarga Elpida, un encanto de mujer. Nos hizo un plano con las cosas que debíamos ver en la isla y que ruta seguir, recomendándonos también restaurantes donde comer. La isla nos encantó y el trato de Elpida fue inmejorable. Si volvemos a la isla, sin duda, volveríamos a alojarnos aquí. Muchísimas gracias por todo, Elpida, fue un auténtico placer.
Tore Totland (10/5): - The hotel and area was super cosy. Out host was so helpfull in planning activities and made sure that we would experience Milos in the best way possible. Every morning started with a coffee and juice + cakes. Highly recommend to stay here if you are in Milos.

Shannyn (10/5): Beautiful apartment with local feel and a beautiful host - We had the most incredible stay, the host is the kindest person, who genuinely wants you to have a great time in Milos. The facilities are lovely and we loved the room and the location. As soon as we arrived, the host gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat across the island. She also provided a map outline each of the locations we should visit. She checked in with us whenever we saw her, and she would ask what we got up to each day and was genuinely interested in what our plans were for the following day. We felt so at home here and by the end our 5 night stay, it felt like we were staying with family. We can’t wait to come back, we highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a personable and warm experience.

A short walk to good restaurants. Perfect stay on Milos. Many thanks to the dear, sweet hostess who took good care of me and made my stay comfortable.

Chloe (10/5): Cosy, safe and comfortable! - The manager, Elpida, was the highlight of my trip! She is so wonderful, supportive and lovely! Located in a nice, quiet spot near a small fishing village with easy bus transport around the island for €2 nearby. Rooms have all the basics. Tea and coffee are located downstairs in the office with Elpida and she bakes cakes each day for guests too. Daily cleaning and all guests have access to beach umbrellas and games to use. Everything was great! Only feedback is the Wifi is pretty slow but that seems to be the case across most of the island.

Cloutman (10/5): Unforgettable and beautiful, we hope to return! - Great location, quiet, clean, within walking distance of a view of the sea and sunset view! Also a short walk the beach and multiple restaurants. Our host was amazing! Very helpful in suggesting where we should go and in what order to make the best use of our time. She also directed us to a great boat tour (much cheaper than I would have booked online) and lots of great restaurants! The beds were on the hard side. Worth it to me to be in such a nice location and such a great host!

The host, Elpidha, was very kind and always ready to help us with anything we needed. Her dedicated and welcoming service made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back again!
Cork Cal (9/5): Kind host and good location - Elpida our host was kind and informative and had beach chairs and umbrellas available for guests to borrow free of charge. The rooms were kept very clean daily. The location is very good, just a 15 minute stroll to the main restaurant area. I would highly recommend it. Tea/coffee/juice and little cakes were available free of charge at Reception. No tea/coffee making facilities or mini fridge in the rooms. Not a big issue but worth noting.
