Guest Reviews
- Keanu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dóra (8/5): Very good -
- Mok (9/5): Much worth money - Located in quiet areas, you can walk few minutes to town. The bed is comfortable, it is clean n tidy. Great breakfast. The rooftop has great view n can see sunset. No.
- Marina (9/5): Most likely the best deal in town - Most likely the best deal in town. Family run, quiet, clean, nice breakfast with egg, yoghurt and fruit. Two shy cats. Small but efficient guest kitchen. Two terraces for lake view.
- Mike (7/5): Good location, breakfast, roof terrace, helpful staff, chilly place in December though. - Breakfast, location, helpful staff, roof terrace. Very cold and drafty, shower was lukewarm,
otherwise it was fine.
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - Comfortable clean room and bed. Good hot shower. Owners were very attentive to the comfort of their guests. Good breakfast with a flat toaster you can toast your own bread. Also they can book your trip to Isla del Sol at same price as elsewhere. The woman speaks English. It's about a 10 minute walk or less into town - I walked with my luggage. Good place. Nothing
- Ellen (7/5): Ok for one night - The host was very nice and helpful! The breakfast was very good! The place is a bit far from the main area compared to the other hostals and WiFi didn’t work well in my room.
- Nigel (7/5): Quiet backstreet hostel - The room was clean. There were plenty of blankets and covers for the cold nights. The breakfast, consisting a roll (which could be toasted on a sandwich toaster) fried egg, jam and butter, a choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a glass of fruit (mainly banana, a slice of apple, strawberry and papaya) with a drizzle of strawberry yoghurt. There was a nice rooftop terrace with a view over the town. They had maps of the town. When the water pressure was right, the shower was hot. The hostel was only ten minutes walk to everything and away from the noisy tourist area. Plenty of hooks in bedroom and bathroom. On arrival they asked us to pay extra. They said that this was because Booking.com charged commission in US dollars, which they had to buy. If we paid in dollars, we wouldn't be charged. We were exceedingly annoyed, especially as we had confirmed the price in Bolivianos via WhatsApp before arrival. We ended up handing over the additional 21bs, which the owner did hand back to us. However, this left a nasty taste in the mouth.
The towels had too much softener on them so they wouldn't dry us properly. No shower curtain or floor mat so the bathroom floor was wet after every shower. The bathroom light could have been brighter to help shaving. There was no soap or shampoo provided.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Good location Helpful staff with good english Good breakfast Nice view from balcony Cold room more blankets needed Wifi comes and goes
- Rina (10/5): Exceptional - Lady at the front desk was lovely and helpful.
Easy to book tour.
- Trần (8/5): Very good - Good location. Good value of money Internet is almost nonexistent in the room. I have to go down to the reception when i want to use the internet.
- Aneta (9/5): Superb - The location is great, the breakfast was really nice. Internet worked well
