Guest Reviews
- Philip (5/5): Only stayed one night out of three because of 3rd floor room & winding narrow staircase. - Very Clean room with reasonable facilities. Poor location (too far out of main town) Room was on the 3rd floor with a very narrow & winding staircase.
We weren’t told about this otherwise we would have requested a ground floor room or not booked it and looked elsewhere.
It was very difficult to get luggage upstairs.
Bed was very uncomfortable.
- Karl (7/5): The location was great, the room was clean and well appointed. Instructions to access the room were clear. - Good location, easy parking. The bathroom is very narrow and the bed was too soft. We rolled together every night.
- Jackie (7/5): Vintage &Modern Decor. Responsive Host. - Decor is very lovely, Vintage and Modern mixed in together. There are no keys to enter the outside door or the appartment door, which took us a little while to get used to. Easy once you get it. Near a lovely park if anyone has a pet with them, it’s a street back from the Sea front. No Toaster, No Tin opener, kitchen area very small. Bus stop right outside the bedroom window, noisy especially in the mornings.
Magpie room up 3 flights of stairs, we didn’t realise this on booking. I have Some health issues so I really struggled with all the stairs and there was no grab rails.
- Tazmin (10/5): - Spotlessly clean and a fantastic location Our stay was perfect
- Megan (7/5): Well priced, well situated, clean and spacious apartment in delightful Victorian house. Recommended! - No breakfast option, which we were aware of. Great location within driving distance of town and sea. Easy to heat if needed. Good tv if needed. Spotlessly clean and spacious rooms. Lovely shower, possibly brand new, with charming metro tiles and shiny white floor. Plenty of light switches and sockets everywhere. No contact with owner; would have been nice to meet her but not really a criticism. Decor rather spartan with renovated (black), utility furniture, and dull green walls creating a dark interior overall; no elaborate wall paper like other rooms; and maybe bedside washable rugs needed ( no rugs); kitchen facilities limited as no hob/pans; dish rack would be good addition.
- Anne (8/5): -
- Kam Yin Tiffany (10/5): The best room ever at this nice price. Very nice accommodation. Would love to come back again!!! - Wide space and super cozy room Could not open the window in the toilet, so moistures were trapped unless you open the window in the kitchen or switch on the radiator in the toilet.
- Kazimierz (10/5): -
- Rogan (9/5): - Location and decor. Easy access, very well located and close to beach and town amenities. Parking easy to find Nothing to note
- James (9/5): -
- Joan (9/5): Would return to this apartment again very comfortable. -
- Alireza (10/5): -
- Kellie (8/5): - Stylish
- David (10/5): - Lovely clean and comfortable suite with a modern kitchenette. Really comfortable bed and a cracking shower. Good communication with the owners throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Only part of the driveway was a dropped kerb and cars kept parking on the kerb which wasn't dropped so if 3 cars were parked there and you needed to get out you could end up getting boxed in.
- Mo (7/5): Good weekend visit to Llandudno - Location great Keyless entry a real problem. Very difficult to touch the pad without entering a number before entering the code. This meant after 3 attempts it was blocked! Tried to call for help but no mobile phone signal in the area! Eventually managed to get in. I suggest just having a key box with an actual key would be better
- Neil (6/5): Could be improved upon. - The location to everything.the decor of the room.wifi, heating our problem was rectified eventually. First impressions are very important, lots of rubbish in the bushes and plants around the garden area.sign advertising the boutique apartments, does not give the interior justice.Entrance to property very messy,,leaves on carpet and the plant dirty and unappealing It was difficult to get in the front door.we weren't given the door number to coincide with the code to get in the room door.when we entered room 1 there was a strong musty smell that over powered the room.,it left our clothes smelling and gave us a cough and found it hard to breath.we tried to have the windows open, while in the room we bought a reed diffuser and plug in to try and mask the snell.the shower head was broken and bent and need to rethink the design of the shower tray,as no matter how hard you try, water is going up the wall and on the floor( will cause more problems down the line),we had to put towels on the floor. It would be handy to have an information booklet of emergency numbers, vets( if people bring their dog),hospital, contact for owner or management, where is good to eat, address of property,,taxi numbers ECT. Look at kitchen facilities, maybe put a toaster in each room and maybe some placemats.front door needs looking at,as other guests were slamming it late at night and early in the morning.didnt see anyone to change towels ECT( untill we complained about the smell in the room and coming across the mould and fungus growing behind the bed in room 1 .( The problem was rectified and we were put in another room) but the damage was already done,as we were coughing, sore throats and difficulty in breathing and our clothes smelt musty. The room above room 2 ,the floor boards need looking at,as you can hear every move the people upstairs made.
- Alex (8/5): Mostly good; if only a couple used the suite the uncomfortable bed-settee would not be required. - The main bed was exceptionally comfortable. Everything very clean. Off road parking appreciated. Pleasant and relaxing environment. Lack of toaster, oven or hob made breakfast choice limited. The bed settee used by my daughter was very uncomfortable. The shower is stylish, but difficult to keep the water on the shower tray.
- Revathi (10/5): -
- nick (8/5): nice place to stay very dog friendly -
- Karan (7/5): Our stay was short so it suited our needs. It was a good location and good parking. - The location was good and the room was spacious. No privacy. It would be better with nets or voile up to the windows. People stare in. There is no where to relax. It needs either small sofa or 2 easy chairs. There was no dustpan and brush to clean crumbs etc. There were no extra rubbish bags. There was no light in the kitchen. These small things would have made the stay perfect.
- Alison (10/5): I stayed with my 4 grandchildren and we all loved it. - It was very comfortable and lovely deco, great stay. Could have done with a couple of things like tin opener, plastic bowl or jug for microwave.
- Meredith (7/5): -
- Myroslava (9/5): Great comfortable spot - The room was spacious. Easy access via the keypad, no need to remember to take keys or a card. Just need to update instructions to say the keypad is on the door handle. 😁
Close to town, beach and pier and all amenities.
Pet friendly was the winner.
Thanks so much No bath, only shower, but not end of the world.
Doors were a bit noisy, slamming shut. I feel for the neighbours. 😁
- Jack (7/5): A modern and spacious apartment in a quiet location, but let down by minimal facilities and some practical issues. - Quiet location with ample parking. Modern, spacious and comfortable. Victoria was very friendly, and responsive. The electronic key code door handles felt quite cheap and were temperamental at times. The apartment itself is very much equipped to a bare minimum - providing a hot plate or a toaster would make a big difference. There is also no draining board or basic kitchen essentials such as surface spray or kitchen roll.
Because of this, I felt the cost was higher than it should be, particularly given the location is further out and the apartment is less well equipped than others in the area. Temperature control was also an issue - there was no way to set the desired room temperature, with the heating switching off automatically once it reached a preset level. The main room is large but only has two radiators, and it would benefit from a third.
The shower screen is also quite small, which resulted in water spraying onto the bathroom floor. The only way to deal with this was using the towels that were intended to dry the guest, and not the floor.
Lastly, the access code stopped working exactly at the 10:00am checkout time. While loading the car, I attempted to re-enter the property at around 10:05am, which I felt was reasonable given that we have a 16 week old baby, but the code no longer worked. A short grace period (for example 30 minutes) would be much more practical and I honestly found this quite ridiculous.
- Steven (8/5): Clean tidy place with good parking. Ideal for my short visit - Good parking
Comfy bed
Clean Shower head bracket on wall was broken
Chairs were uncomfortable
- Neil (10/5): -
- jzr (7/5): nice place - The apartment is located on the other side of town, a little farther from the center. The area itself is very pleasant, and the proximity to the sea and the promenade for walks fully met our expectations. In the room, I missed having a wardrobe or some shelves for my things, as there was only a hanger. I also would have liked at least a small stove, since I wanted to make coffee with my moka pot (which I brought with me), because the instant coffee provided didn’t really taste like coffee. Additionally, the room is on the ground floor at street level and in view of passersby, so we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time.
That said, the apartment was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
- Isabell (10/5): Fantastic apartment with all mod cons! - The photos of the flat didn't do the beautiful decor justice! The bed was soooo comfortable with the option of the throw for the cold nights. The flat had great facilities although I would have loved a toaster for the morning, the air fryer was a great addition. The free parking space was an absolute bonus! Will definitely be booking again when we come back. Not really anything to dislike but the flat was very cold when I arrived and it did take a while to heat up and took ages to get the hot water in the kitchen sink to a temp where dishes could be washed.
- Louise (9/5): -
- sandra (8/5): Fantastic weekend, if the shower rail was added then I would definitely stay longer and would most definitely recommend. - I loved the decor, it was very clean and spacious, it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was easy to find, the area was quiet and it had ample parking. The only thing that I think would help, is to fix a hand rail in the shower or to put a mat down in the shower tray, as it was very slippy and I did not feel safe.
- USHANA (1/5): - the mattress/bed was old and very very worn out. Toilet did not flush, so make out stay very unbearable. we complained to the host, through booking.com message system. a plumber came out and was not able to fix the issue. as far as the uncomfortable bed. NO RESPONSE. The neighbours dog in #1 barked all the time and was very disturbing
- Katya (7/5): Gut mit Ausbaupotential - Gute Lage in Llandudno
Schönes Zimmer
Bequemes Bett
Barrierefreiheit im Erdgeschoss (Achtung: nur da)
Ebenerdige Dusche
- Ian (7/5): -
- Amy (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - Loved the interior! The location was great, nice and quiet. We also loved that it is pet friendly, the road was great for morning & evening walks for them. We made sure to leave the room clean and tidy. Didn’t stay long enough.
- Danielle Clare (10/5): Definitely recommend - The rooms were beautiful, the decor and the cleanliness. And they allowed dogs to complete our family trip. -Nothing! It was the other end of the prom, but that didn't bother us as we had gorgeous walks each day
- Cilla PEARSON (9/5): - The location and the peace.
Nicely decorated and clean. /
- Kamil (8/5): - Best option if compared to competitors. Clean, Comfortable, Value for money is a big one and close to amenities.
- Alison (3/5): Disappointing - We stayed for 2 nites. The accommodation was nice, liked the useful little kitchen area and having a fridge and microwave. Unfortunately there were tiny flies flying around the bedroom and bathroom and on the window, had to keep swatting them away from our food. The flies were so abundant and annoying I went out to purchase fly spray, which I left in the accommodation The cups were dirty and the chairs were very hard and uncomfortable. Other residents were very noisy, late at night and early in the morning. We found the door key pads difficult at times and I was locked out on one occasion.
I tried to no avail, wasting my valuable holiday time using the available phone numbers and emails to get in touch with someone regarding the situation, the phone signal was poor, so I had to keep going outside to use my phone. I recieved a response the following morning, to ask how the fly situation was and to be fair they did keep in touch after that.
The owners offered us 20% of my next booking and the code they gave me didn't work, so I have booked with another hotel as we go to Llandudno regularly. I try to avoid giving negative reviews, however I've given the owners time to recompense, not even offered to pay for the fly spray.
This totally spoilt our weekend, we would have gone back home but we were meeting family.
- bob (9/5): - We had to have curtains closed till we dressed in mornings because of the bus stop outside the window. And it,s a big window!! The shower head was quite loose, also coudn,t have shower on full as it would overflow onto floor.
- Angie (10/5): Lovely place, renovation is tasteful, very comfortable beds. - Loved the location and the accommodation was perfect. Only suggestion I’d have is the bottom half of the windows be frosted as having dogs in a strange place with people passing meant we had to have blinds down.
- Barry (10/5): -
- Julie (8/5): Llandudno stay - Comfortable, clean beautifully furnished. Black hair in the shower on arrival. Loose flush handle on the toilet which made the toilet difficult to flush. Only very small bin in kitchenette with only one bin bag supplied and the suite had lots of little fruit flies flying around all the time.
- Jon (10/5): -
- Rebecca S Harris (8/5): - A good location, a short walk from shops, cafes and restaurants and not far from the centre or from the promenade on the front.
The property was very clean and comfortable and attractively furnished and decorated.
We enjoyed visiting Llandudno, walking up the Ormes and along the sea front. We didn't realise the suite was on the ground floor. It felt quite public, with the lack of blinds or frosted glass at the windows. We felt we had to keep the curtains closed all the time as it was quite a busy spot on the corner with passersby and buses going by.
- Angie (10/5): - Convenient to my mothered care home just across the road
- Sam (9/5): Pleasant stay - Quite a quirky unique room. Clean and tidy
- Jan-Philipp (8/5): -
- Nigel (9/5): Easy from start to finish - Everything was to a high standard and the experience was a very good one , will book again . All good
- Simon (9/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): We know Llandudno very well as my parents lived there for many years ad we used to visit them. So we knew all the place - Very well furnished and carpeted. 3 flights of steep stairs and no handrails on the first 2. Being in the roof lots of sloping ceilings and had to be careful not to bang our heads. Limited cooking facilities. A kettle and a microwave in very inaccessable place.
- Zeshan (10/5): Great place to stay to explore llandudno and surrounding areas - Lovely place was received nice and clean.
The hosts are attentive and communication was good. Nothing
- Noel (8/5): -
- Jessica (7/5): - Decor, location, ease of entry, communication from hotel It smelled a bit of dog but more importantly there seemed to be a bit of an issue with the drains & so there was a bad smell from toilet/soil pipe.
I prefer a softer pillow but that's personal preference
The irregular shape of ceiling/wall because of it being in the loft space was a head bruiser-this maybe wouldn't have been such a thing if the colour of the beams had been different from the walls
- Rosita (9/5): Review - The stay was amazing. Perfect loctaion and facilities had everything we needed. When we got to the room, it was very hot, as we were in the top room. It was a very warm day. I messaged Victoria, and a few minutes later, there was a knock at the door and was a man with a fan. We will definitely be back Rosita. Nothing
- Martin (8/5): Lovely apartment near the beach, which made for a nice family holiday. - Facilities were excellent. Apartment was modern and well equipped and the hosts extremely responsive. The hot weather meant that there were lots of flies around. Having a fan and insect killer available would have been helpful.
- Mei Lan May (4/5): Hygiene Concerns and Unresolved Flies Problem - Bed was comfortable Only 1.5 toilet rolls and two tiny bin liners provided for a five-night stay, with no mention on Booking.com that guests must buy their own supplies. The floor was dirty and I found a pillow stored on the floor underneath the bed. Worst of all, flies/gnats were present soon after arrival. I had not left food out or opened windows, yet the problem was initially blamed on me. Attempts made by Anthony, a very nice guys, on day three to clear the flies, left a chemical smell inside the room, but the problem remained. No effective remedy offered — very disappointing hygiene and service.
- Handy (10/5): Fabulous stay in a beautiful property - Not your average guesthouse, beautiful decor ,fixtures and fittings, a lovely mix of period and modern style. Everything supplied for the first few days of our holiday. Hand wash, hand lotion and toilet roll in the bathroom and washing up liquid, tea towel ,sponge and dish cloth, a generous supply of tea and coffee sachets, milk and sugar in the kitchenette. The flat was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There is a good selection of shops and food outlets nearby and a large Asda 15 minutes walk away. Easy to park nearby if the driveway is full. Excellent communication by the host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again. Just one small issue, I think it would be beneficial to apply some obscuring film to the bathroom window, our flat had a large window in the bathroom but we had to have the blind down for the duration of our stay, meaning we had to put the light on .... It would save on the electric bill too.
- Stephen (9/5): Better than expected - Parking
- Colin (6/5): Wouldn’t book this again doesn’t live up to photos - Its location First impression by front door let it down. Also the instructions to gain access were incomplete. We had a room for 3 but had to request where the sofa bed coverings were as they were not set up before arrival. Noise from main road in the morning was not great.
- Carrise (10/5): Comfortable, cosy and clean. - The room was very modern with character. The bed was really comfortable and the room as a whole was clean and well looked after. Provided with tea/coffee and glasses for drinks which was a lovely touch. Nothing to dislike.
- Céline (3/5): - Very small room, sofabed and also normal
bed absolutely uncomfortable.
Very noisy, other guests talking with a normal voice could be understood while being in the room.
- Georgina (9/5): Gorgeous place to stay would recommend! - Beautiful decor, quality fixtures and fittings and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice bedding and towels too. Handy little kitchenette. Perhaps some voile at the window to stop anyone seeing in when curtains are open. A little bit further from town than we thought but would still recommend.
- Nicholas (7/5): REASONABLE ROOM AND LOCATION. - BIG ROOM WITH A COMFORTABLE BED.
REASONABLE LOCATION. OUR ROOM HAD NO PRIVACY. OVERLOOKED BY PASSERS BY.
LIMITED KITCHENETTE WITH MICROWAVE.
- Angela (9/5): - Good location. Very clean and comfortable
- Fletcher (10/5): - Room was lovely clean & a very comfy bed nothing
- Paul (8/5): - Location, room, room layout Net curtains would be beneficial. Shower head and a lack of a full door easily soaked the floor.
- Ian (9/5): - Great location off street parking close to all amenities, clean an well presented Nothing
- Aileen (9/5): Lovely accommodation in a good location. With some small changes this could get a perfect score. - Beautiful room in a very nice house. The room had some beautiful big windows but no blinds on them. It was a very busy road to the front & side so when dressing or coming out of the shower you had to close big heavy curtains. Also there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. We had been staying in hotels on previous nights on our holiday which had these, so had to go out & buy some.
- Richard (7/5): -
- katrina (10/5): - Beautiful interior easy access would recommend
- Pam (8/5): Great location and lovely room - The Tilstone is in Craig y don which is a short walk from the centre.
There are a couple of lovely places to get breakfast/lunch from nearby and a great little sushi/poke bowl place.
The accommodation has been done to a nice standard and the bed was comfy. The kitchen area has a microwave and a fridge. It isn't designed for much more than a brew and a sandwich but there was somewhere to chill the fizz!
- John (9/5): -
- Jimmie (9/5): - hi, thank you for the stay , the room was beautiful!
+ beautifully presented room
+ great location
+ comfy bed
+ great communication and straightforward instructions
+ - bed should be in TV side of room as you can hear everybody's conversations through the door/hallway while in bed and visa versa
- somebody came to sort the TV out because we were having problems with it, I was outside smoking and my partner was in the shower playing music and a man walked in on her without her knowledge , so maybe confirm with who ever is staying before entering the room
- the shower head does not stay on the holder ,
glass door or shower curtain needed, although it looks astheticly pleasing , the water runs all into the skirting boards and doors and will cause damp and mould in the future
- the sign on the outside makes the place looks like a funeral home, a simple but elegant sign would make it feel like the inside matches the outside
but overall I had a great stay , just a few tips for yourself .

- James (10/5): We had a great stay in this very well presented property - The location was ideal for our needs We had no dislikes
- Nina (9/5): Great stay in Llandudno - The room was lovely. It was clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Smiddy .p. (6/5): Nice apartment not nice stairs. - Location wasn't bad some local bars + hotels. Most of the fixtures + fittings were very good. A bit dark wardrobe and bed were good quality. I should have brought my own Sherpa to get my luggage to the top floor. Top floor NT suitable for people with mobility issues.2 lightbulbs were blown in kitchen.Could not park as car park was full but managed to park over the road. Comfortable settee but was under the T.V. .

- Sarah (8/5): Great stylish spot away from the bustle of the main town but still convenient - Nice decor, light and spacious, very near the beach and some lovely local businesses in Craig y Don The first time we used the door codes we had a problem but it was fine after that. I think the bed had a mattress topper, and I prefer a firmer bed, the shower water didn’t stay in the cubicle very well, we couldn’t get the radiators to come on to dry our swimming towels, there could have been some decaf drinks in the complimentary stuff, but I am seriously nit picking, overall it was lovely
- jacqueline (10/5): Family travelling together - Beds were comfy! Ameneties were plentyful. Bathrooms were beautiful as were the rooms. Even had a loo with a view! we stayed in suite 5 (magpie suite) but hired out suite 4 (owl) and 2 (parrot) because we were travelling with family. the rooms were lovely, comfy and well placed with all the amenities needed and more. we absolutely would stay again and we miss the beds already! Hard to find plug sockets. Would have been nice to have some nearby the bed that were easy to get to. Could also have done with the option to checkout later as we came to do a house clearance nearby and by time we were done we were exhausted.
- Anita (9/5): Very enjoyable - Comfortable and clean accommodation. Very good location, close to the promenade with an easy walk into the town centre. About a 15 minute drive to Bodnant Garden if planning on visiting. Kitchenette equipment was basic, really only suitable for microwave meals and hot drinks (although did have a good sized fridge). There is however a very good bakery just down the road offering breakfasts if not in a hurry in the mornings.
We stayed four nights. Was slightly surprised that the mini sized bin kitchen bin wasn’t emptied during our stay, or a replacement bag provided so that we could do so ourselves.

- Lisa (7/5): - The room was spacious and had everything we needed, perfect for a short getaway. We liked the area as it was quiet. Location to the promenade was excellent and walking. Great local shop across the road. Other guests should at least try to be courteous to others and not slam the doors and party till 3 o'clock in the morning as our above neighbour decided was appropriate behaviour. Our bathroom needed a more detailed clean.
- Charlotte (6/5): Well placed but smelled bad. - Very well located, right near the prom. The room had an unpleasant smell like drains or something the whole time we were there, even with all the windows open.
- Rushton (10/5): Llandudno - It Was a Very clean and beautiful room. and comfortable and a good location for the seafront. and it was dog friendly.. We stayed in the parrot suit. that's located by a bus stop outside the window. Which was noisy and people looked in.you could frost the bottom window the same as the one at the side where the cars park and that would solve the problem..
- Ian (8/5): - Location. Comfort. Confusing door lock. Position of room door lock.

- Jason (10/5): Very good quality accommodation at a good price provided a brilliant base for our break, we loved it - Location is great, convenient to town & facilities.
Beautiful accommodation has been really well developed.
Kitchenette facilities are perfect for easy food prep if visiting on a budget Nothing
- Theresa (9/5): Nice getaway weekend close to town! - The room matched the description perfectly. Location was great for us; just slightly beyond the downtown. Close to beach. Room was laid out in the best way to maximize efficiency. Loved that they had a hotpot for us! Great parking. The bed is soft and seems to tilt down at the head end. Kept our curtains drawn as our room was on the first floor and looked onto the sidewalk. Had some noisy families next door (no fault of our apartment) but thankfully not late into the night. Seagulls are quite loud! (Again nothing the apartment can address but just know that if you're a light sleeper)
- Amanda (8/5): - Very well appointed accommodation Room 7 was on the very top floor with narrow steep steps to access it, not so ideal for elderly visitors.
- Julia (10/5): Excellent accommodation with breakfast. Quiet . - The breakfast was excellent. Nothing - except perhaps a lift.
- Melanie (8/5): Great location near beach front - The location was ideal for our requirements. Not far from the beach front. Lots of shops and great Chinese within walking distance. The accommodation was on the top floor. Might be an issue for someone with mobility issues. At times you could hear the people in the next accommodation. Just be aware there is no hob, oven or toaster in this particular accommodation. Just a combi microwave. This was a bit restrictive, but we overcame this issue.

- Cliff & Cheryl (10/5): First time we’ve stayed & will be coming again soon - Absolutely beautiful room, really clean & near the seafront. Victoria went above & beyond to help us 😃 Nothing
- Lina (8/5): Perfect location - Perfect location Cut my finger with the shower head, was bleeding. Something sharp was on it.
- Jonno (10/5): - The room was very comfortable and the location was superb.
Very well decorated and had great facilities in the room. Nothing I didn't like.
- Driscoll (9/5): Great place ! Kids lived it - Easy to get in and good parking
