Guest Reviews
- Lynn (9/5): -
- Joanne Wells (9/5): A great home to share with our family visiting from overseas that wanted to experience the area. - Excellent location in the middle of the winelands. Lovely big house out of the hustle and bustle for a fabulous weekend getaway. Host was very responsive with great communication. Highly recommend! Came across a few spiders but mostly outdoors which is to be expected out in the country.
- Catherine (9/5): Relaxing and Comfortable - By far the wellness area was absolutely amazing! It just needed the glass in the sauna cleaned.
The space in and around the property was generous.
It was close to many Margaret River attractions but tucked away from busy roads so it was lovely and quiet.
The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery and baking equipment.
The native kangaroos, and the local lizards visited occasionally.
Netflix was a bonus! There were a few simple things which were very impactful. There were no hooks in the bathrooms to hang a robe or clothing on while you showered. There was no extractor fan in the main bathroom.
There were no pot mitts, and only one tea towel, so when the tea towel was damp it was difficult to get things out of the oven safely as the heat transferred through the towel!
The main table was sticky … i think the varnish was degrading.
There were no scissors in the kitchen for opening food packaging.
The upstairs room was very musty smelling (possibly an indication of a water leak somewhere). Luckily we didn’t need to use the upstairs room so we just kept the door shut and were not impacted.
There was a water leak under the sink … only a slow leak so a bowl strategically placed kept the water contained.
There was no window coverings in the main bathroom, you felt very exposed when getting dressed after a shower.
- Leila (9/5): Restful. - Loved the gardens and the visiting wildlife. Very peaceful and tranquil. Very clean. Beds were super comfy.
Perfect stay for our family wedding at Tiller farm.
Perfect family stay or vacation.
Would highly recommend Furniture needs an update and refresh. Couch was broken the arm rest.
Things look worn and tired.
Not enough towels for guests staying but very promptly sorted by host.
We found main bathroom on our day of leaving as door has a faulty lock we presumed it was locked and all guests used ensuite bathroom.
Changing handle and putting a sign on the door “bathroom”would be helpful as the house is a labyrinth of doors some open some locked.
But otherwise we had a great stay.
- Caroline (9/5): A magical, classy and authentic home. Truly fabulous! - Property was outstanding. Real Yallingup classic and fabulous homestead. Airy, spacious and the woodwork was spectacular. Beautiful equipped with high quality fittings and appliances. Very special. Will come and stay again hopefully next year, and hope that it is still in such good condition. A very special place. Lack of comfy chairs on the verandah outside. The whole point of a house like this is to relax in the countryside. Sitting on a dining room chair doesn’t quite do it!
For the MGT COMPANY:
Mgt Company were very officious, need to be more familiar with the house and some empathy when non-Australian citizens ask for help would have been appreciated. A house guide would be useful - not least, handling rubbish, feeding birds/kangaroos. Finally, the agreement and ‘deposit’ that were imposed on us after we had confirmed our stay was disquietening. Would have been good to know about this prior to booking.
