- BERNARD CLERY (2/5): -
- Ole (4/5): Dårlige toilet - God seng Dårlig vejledning ved koder ,de skulle fjerne alt det gamle. Og toilette virkede ikke selv om jeg kontakter dem 2 gange
- Bradby (3/5): - Price Hammer marks in the wall. Incorrect parking put in the advert. Broken radiator and shower. The room was incredibly hot and smelled very strong with a smell I could not name. Wifi password provided didn't have Internet luckily there is a second wifi that does staff where slow to respond and didn't know the answers. Terrible and misleading advert parking should not be listed on it. Damp on the ceiling as well in the room floorboards are uneven and noisy. The kitchen is ok but there are no bins. Toilet often needs you to lift up the cistern lid and put it back down so it will actually fill and the lightbulb in my room was still glowing dimly all night after.turning the light off.
- Mickey (1/5): Horrendous property - Absolutely nothing My room was not ready my blanket smell like fags ,and upstairs toilet is not flushing
- Jiawei (5/5): -
- Beryl (1/5): It was degrading to stay there. - It was near bus stops There is a pile of rubbish in the garden which hasn’t been collected for months. The smell is bad and there are a lot of flies. It won’t be long before the rats come. In the kitchen there was a pile of dirty laundry on the floor. The whole place didn’t look as if it had been cleaned for a long time. The bed wasn’t made in my room and it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous person and it was smelly. I was given another room and there was also a very bad smell. The carpet was dirty and the room needed cleaning as did the bathroom. I was there for 6 days and I never saw a cleaner. The whole place looked neglected and should be closed until they sort everything out.
- César (1/5): Left early because the room was infested with ticks. - Host informed me on my first day of my reservation that I needed to be out of the property most of the day during the second day of my reservation because the room was going to be fumigated. When I arrived at the property, the room was infested with ticks and so I left and did not stay there. Host was unavailable on contact number provided. Working on getting a refund, but host has not been cooperative despite me providing pictures and videos to document thetick infestation.
- Tim (1/5): - There were bedbugs in our bed and the sheets were not cleaned
- Juanna (8/5): - The water pressure from the shower could have been better.
- hugh (5/5): could have been worse but would not use again - very quiet
location
warm.
the room was clean (apart from the old dried in carpet stains) The new world order digital human contactless approach is wierd and uncomfortable. Although it all worked, if anything would have gone slightly wrong that night (e.g. the locks etc) I would have been shelterless with no one to contact or sort it out. Also the website of the 'owners'? is in a foriegn language so no-one is contactable. (so no chance of removing your data should you want to keep or use your data protection rights.)
- Lateef (9/5): - It's closeness to main road No blender in kitchen.
- Lateef (8/5): Am satisfied - Location very good to connect to the city I need a blender in the kitchen, but can't find.
- Dylber (2/5): The true - Niente The room was dirty, the smell of smoke inside, the room was cold, the shared bathroom was where the black woman shaved her hair inside, the price was exaggerated for the best quality, I would have slept under the bridge if it was just because it was cool.
- xia (1/5): Don’t book it because it’s cheaper. It has bedbugs and no service. - It’s a HMO type of house. Don’t book it because it’s cheaper. Room has bedbugs, and service just a robot auto response. I slept two nights and got bitten all over of my body. But before I realised it, I have booked another five nights, then I found out my body was bedbugs bitten, then I decided to leave before my next booking started and asked for refund for the new booking, however I only get robot answers system, no proper response at all.
- xia (1/5): -
- Kevin (1/5): No door code couldn't get in - I never received the door code
- Dola (10/5): - Room, kitchen, laundry machines, accessibility to transfers, shops, queit, secure, internet stability. The trash at the back of the house, if a rule could be in place for tenants.
- Alessandra (1/5): -
- Kirsty (5/5): - Decent location Poorly kept property. Rubbish needed to be removed daily and wasn't.
- Loura (1/5): - .A group of people knocking on the doors and shouting, banging doors until 2 o'clock in the morning and this morning as we were leaving a women was sleeping in the Corridor.
- Christopher (1/5): -
- Natalie (1/5): BEDBUGS dont stay there. - Lovely decor It has BEDBUGS. One room The bedding had not been changed. Had crumbs and hairs in the bed.
- mwanzu (7/5): My stay experience at this property was good. I would recommend the property for a short stay visit. - The location is superb with easy access to public transport, and close to Headington center where you can easily access restaurants and supermarkets.
Very clean rooms. The bed and beddings in the 'Journey room' need to be replaced. The bed and pillows were a little bit uncomfortable.
The gardens at the front and back yards would be awesome with better care.
The side table in the journey room is too low for tall guys like me.
- Lily (1/5): Appalling - The property on arrival was in the worst state I’ve ever seen a room in my life, the room hadn’t been cleaned and after an hour of trying to contact the property on an emergency number, I finally got through to be told they couldn’t issue my refund even though I left the property immediately, I’m currently going back and forth with booking.com as this is absolutely unacceptable, I’ve been a loyal member of booking.com for a year now and never have I ever experienced this.
- JAKUB (3/5): - nic Po příjezdu byl problém se vstupem do objektu. Nešel PIN. Po nějaké době byl zaslán nový PIN.
Po vstoupení do pokoje jsme zjistily, že neni uklizen. Zavolali jsme tedy majiteli a ten sehnal úklid.
Takže dupala, skákala z postele, hulákala sprostě a to se opakovalo celou noc a druhý den odpoledne a v noci už méně. Asi po urgenci majitele.
- Wojciech (3/5): Won’t ever stay here again - First time I didn’t enjoy my stay kitchen staircase cctv everywhere I didn’t feel comfortable to make my cup of tea thinking that someone keep watching me! Sealing was really bad same as carpet needs a new paint and deep clean and back of house looks like a slums in Brooklyn Not my cup of tea won’t ever stay here again
- Isabella (1/5): Bedbugs and no refund!!! - Couldn’t stay as the bed was swarming with bed bugs Had to find another accommodation and they are not giving me a refund for the stay
- Gang (1/5): Big fat bed bugs everywhere! AVOID! - nothing Big fat bed bugs everywhere! They are even crawling on the wall! I was covered with bed bug bites! Their 24/7 whatsapp contact is a joke which is not even in use! I couldn't get an alternative room so i had to sit in my car the whole night! The next day I sent a formal complain email to the management team. They refused my full refund request and ignore my follow up emails! It wasn't a cheap room. It costed me 91GBP a night! Please avoid thid shit place at all cost! This is the worst room i have ever booked. It's inhabitable and should be banned from all booking platform. I saved many video recordings showing the disgusting bed bugs everywhere!
- Johannes (1/5): Not worth it! - Pretty much nothing! I returned with bedbug bites after staying for two nights. I messaged the property and they said they would investigate. I never heard back despite repeated reminders.
On top of that, the day that I arrived, the property messaged me that the facilities would not be accessible until 8pm due to regular disinfection procedures. They apparently involve substances that affect health.
And lastly, the internet didn't work and the property did not acknowledge or address the issue during my stay.
I strongly recommend not staying here!
- Mamadou (6/5): Pleasant -
- Georgius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vera (2/5): Very poor -
- Mohamed (3/5): Poor -
- Yahaya (1/5): Bad - The environmenr was dirry. The bed was small for two adults. We had to share toilets. The staff are not sensitive. They didnit respond to complaints but only gave emoty assurances
- Billy (1/5): Poor management team letting down this property - Room was nice 1) bin area overflowing with rubbish and causing a bad smell near front door.
2) communal area not being cleaned but stated that a cleaner comes every week.
3) shower rise broken.
4)Laundry bin in kitchen has never been empty since I have been there.
5)Kitchen bins have only been empty once and that was by me doing it in the 3 weeks I stayed there.
6) door lock on Breeze room batteries needs changing. Was stuck outside room for 45mins.
7) dirty towels left on bathroom floor.
8) kitchen draining board full of dishes and pans.
9) management team lack of response to a number of text and emails sent to them.
I have one more week here but looking for another place due to these issues
- Emil (8/5): Very good -
- Nishanth (8/5): Very good -
- Neil (6/5): Pleasant - Parking
- James (5/5): Passable -
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (9/5): Overall very happy - good value stay. - Warm room
Good kitchen facilities/stock. Carpet gripper in the doorway of Harmony room needs attention. Little spikes attack bare feet!
Had to spend £5.00 at local corner shop on 4 x AA Duracell batteries. Reason was, front door 'informed us' that batteries were dying. Not wanting to get locked out, we decided new batteries were the only option. Left old batteries on kitchen window sill. Spare batteries in jar under kitchen sink are leaking acid and need to be be disposed of.
One of the bedside lights did not work.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- White (1/5): Bad - ... There was no parking. Despite displaying a parking symbol on this advert, there was no parking in the whole estate, the only available parking was 15 mins away in Waitrose and costs 15 pounds a day. The parking directly outside the property was for residents only, and since the description stated the accommodation included parking, l aasumed l could park firectly outside number 27. However, you get a 100 pound fine for every 24 hours. The next-door neighbours told me the council had not approved the property and associated parking for 5 guests.
It was essentially like a student house, bins were overflowing, the shower plug had thick black hair in it, and the toilets were dirty. There was a biscuit packet under my bed.
The parking situation was so stressful as l drove for 40 mins around the area in the morning looking for somewhere to park, and my fine and parking fees almost cost the same as a three night stay.
I would never stay in a shared house with booking.com again, just a very dodgy situation and led me to be walking back in the dark by myself through a city l did not know on what was supposed to be a combined work and leisure visit. Overall, it was a very stressful experience. The traffic was noisy at 5am on the main road too. I was very lucky only one or two people were there at the same time rather than 5 as walls are thin and floor boards creaky, as mentioned in other reviews.
- Summer (9/5): Superb - Very clean and well facilitated, lots of space and homely. It was quite cold in the rooms and there was no soap in the kitchen or downstairs toilet.
- Zigita (3/5): Poor -
- Sapak (8/5): Very good -
- Rares (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katharina (8/5): was mostly wandering around oxford, but always looked forward to return to my room. - coziness reachablility
- Alejandro (6/5): Not the best but definitely not the worst! - - I stayed in the Echo room and it was a well decorated decent sized room. The bed was comfortable too
- The room was decently clean despite big carpet stain.
- Towels are provided and the bathroom was not bad, just have to make sure to clean after yourself. Hot water worked fine.
- The wifi worked well too
- It’s in a good location, 3 minutes walking from “Green Road Roundabout” bus stop and Headington shops with lots of nice cafes/restaurantes (i recommend using the “Airline” bus to Heathrow or using the Elizabeth Line+Cross Country Train to get to Oxford Station)
- I didnt even enter the kitchen and i just ate out (so i have no comments on that).
- 2 small towels are provided + hand soap and body wash (but i preffered to buy my own toiletries) [you can request more + cleaning service for additional charge]
- Room also came with a kettle, tea cup and tea bags.
- Lots of storage space for clothes , shoes, and a rack with hangers
- 4 plug points which was good to have!
- Theres a TV too but i never turned it on as i didn’t want to disturb anyone.
- For Oxford this was one the best priced accommodations! - On my first day the wooden entrance door to the patio was impossible to open and i had to wait outside and contact the managers (i was pushing on the gate with my whole body weight for 20 minutes until the other tenant opened it for me). I got the hang of it after that day.
- No air conditioning so must open window for air circulation (however bugs will come in sometimes)
- Way too many rooms for such a small apartment in my opinion, the walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Especially the tenant downstairs who was often speaking loudly on the phone. I got lucky that most of the time the others were usually not there.
- Had to flush the toilet for other people 3 times
- When you enter the apartment it smells like the downstairs tenant is smoking marijuana and since theres no aircon the smell lingers. Cant tell if its MJ or just mold. Downstairs tenant also has a dog which lives on the property (Bella), she is super cute but does bark sometimes so if you’re not a dog person just keep that in mind.
- As a female solo traveler i felt uncomfortable at first with the sharing spaces with random men, especially since you can hear everything through the walls. But thankfully no bad experiences, and i barely interacted with the other people staying there. (I did however put the chair on the other side of the door just in case because i didn’t trust the “security” of the automatic door locks)
- There were many instances where the front door was left wide open.
- The floors and doors CREAK so much, every simple pace i take sounds so loud.
- BIG and small spiders in room and bathroom (scared tf out of me)
- Shelley (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Harald (7/5): Good - Room was very convenient, comfortable the kitchen. Nice Garden with access directly from the room. Situated directly beside the main road, therefore noisy if window's not closed.
Thin-walled house - you can hear your neighbours as well as people in the kitchen (can be annoying in the morning).
20 minutes bus ride to the city centre.
- Guilherme (2/5): I will never comeback to this place - The bed was comfortable and internet worked. There was so many issues with the property that it is hard to start describing. When I booked the room was not clear that there wasn’t a bathroom in the room. the shared one was not clean in all days I was there and always missing basic supplies.
Another guest got the code for our door and entered the room in the middle of the night and then I had to talk to the staff of the hotel over the phone and justify why I was in my room, explaining that they had messed up. After that they didn’t change the code of our door and provided a new code so definitely didn’t feel safe there.
There was huge spiders in the hotel which is weird so you have a problem with it don’t stay there.
The room we stayed was close to the kitchen and in the morning was impossible to sleep due to one guest screaming at his dog.
Overall terrible experience would never stayed there
- Benedict (1/5): Bad -
- Luis (10/5): Excellent, absolutely recomendable - The place was great, very comfortable and clean. Everything was clearly labeled and even every room get their own store spaces in the kitchen and toilet. Nothing, it was an excellent place.
- Colin (10/5): Cozy, well equipped, convenient to bus route. - Thoughtful assignment of dedicated kitchen storage, including private fridge. Good supply of hot water in the shower. Large, comfortable shower. Warm, cozy room on arrival. Occasionally, the lack of a second shower was inconvenient. There is a second WC on the ground floor which was important.
- Bojana (2/5): Avoid at all cost - Attempt of renovation and decoration
Decent size shower
Can’t think of much else 5 bedrooms in small house, one shower room.
No host at the property, “Renaissance Elite Club” of not help via messages
The carpet had stains, it wasn’t dusted for a long time, bedsheet had dozens of what it looked like male body hair on it!
Shower gel and hand wash supply ran out of bathroom and kitchen, no one to refill them for days
Single room tiny, no dinning room, you are forced to do everything in it from eating, sleeping, drying hair..
The house doesn’t have any digital or analogue channels, so TV is useless. After a long day you can’t even play music or watch programmes, you’re forced to use your phone that is meant to be charging
Radiators can’t be adjusted for individual rooms so when someone sets target temperature downstairs it affects the whole house ! and to switch the heat off is a nightmare!
Location realistically 30 mins from centre by bus considering traffic and amount of stops, I’d recommend Oxford tube instead
No clear instructions that there is a barking dog at the property, how to operate the gate and also the code wasn’t working so spent time off the phone just to get in.
The digital lock for main doors failed so they left it open overnight, while gate is unlocked.
Other guests don’t always clean after themselves or empty bins which is an issue if you need to use clogged shower or sink full of dishes
Walls paper thin you’ll hear ppl sneezing and talking, door banging prevents peaceful sleep
- David (10/5): Perfect -
- Alvaro (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was really nice and kind. Decoration of the rooms is beautiul. location is good.
- Chinyere (9/5): Superb -
