- Inga (7/5): Overall, I’d say this apartment is suitable for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer visit — especiall - I have mixed impressions about this apartment.
Let me start with the positives: the location is great — right in the historical center, with well-developed infrastructure, shops, and cafés nearby. The apartment is also equipped with many essentials for living. Now, for the downsides — it’s quite difficult to stay here during the summer, as there’s no air conditioning (which is common in historical buildings). The fan helped a little, but if you’re visiting during hot weather, it can be really uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping the first few nights because it was too hot inside, and opening the windows didn’t help much either, since the apartment is on the ground floor and it can get noisy.
Some other issues aren’t specific to this apartment but are common in central locations — like a strong sewage smell from time to time. Also, cockroaches can occasionally come in from the street, although the agency did place some pest control products in the apartment to help with this.
- James (9/5): Excellent location, quiet street, good for short or long stays - This place was perfect for me. Excellent location, near the cathedral but on a quiet side street. There are three large windows, one in each room, overlooking a pedestrian street and high enough up that there aren't people staring in. It's an honest one bedroom, in Spain often a "one bedroom" is really a studio with a curtain or partition. The kitchen is small but well equipped and you can cook here if you want. There is a one cup Moka style coffee maker, stove, microwave, and full size fridge. The wifi is excellent, strong, fast, no disconnects or annoying portal page. As a bonus there is a Michelin listed restaurant in the building. I had a bit of trouble finding it, the second door (next to the elevator) is not marked and the key sticks. There are mailboxes but not for this unit and you can't get mail here. There is no AC and only one floor fan. It could use a second fan or better a couple of ceiling fans. The bedroom is quite small and the closets are both used for storing brooms, mops etc so there isn't a lot of space for your things. These are minor problems and shouldn't discourage you from staying here.
