• Campos (1/5): Estafa no asista ni mire esta publicación - Ese lugar no existe, tiene un teléfono que no contesta nadie, este alojamiento es una estafa, hay que denunciarlo a la plataforma para que actúen. No lo conocí, nadie se dignó a contestarme o darme indicaciones, a pesar de que estuve al frente del local nadie sabía nada y lo peor es que cobran la penalización por no presentarse

• Armand (9/5): Prima verblijf! - Er is een parkeergarage naast het appartement maar die gaat pas om 07:00 open. Wij vertelden de host dat wij om 0400 richting het vliegveld moeten. Hij liep voor de auto uit naar een public parking 100m verderop. Dit kostte wel 7000CRC maar dat was prima. Wij kunnen hem wekken en dan loopt hij mee naar de auto. Top service en een buitengewoon aardige kerel. Appartement is lekker ruim en spic en span! De buurt moet je misschien laat op de avond niet rondlopen, maar voor een overnachting voor het vliegveld helemaal top! NVT

• Lauren (4/5): Scary location and no customer support - The inside of the apartment was clean and comfortable We couldn’t reach the staff to arrange a shuttle after multiple attempts. We also never received confirmation about how to get to the property and check in. We tried messaging and calling over the span of 3 days. I had to get booking.com involved for them to reach me. They finally did after that and when we got there it was in such a run down location that even our taxi driver thought it was wrong and didn’t want to leave a family with young kids in the neighborhood.

Não há estacionamento no local, e é difícil de achar vaga de estacionamento. Não aceitaram a forma de pagamento que queríamos pagar (eu e minha amiga gostaríamos de ter pago separadamente).

La recepción, la muchacha que nos recibió muy amable pero lamentablemente como a los 20 minutos de llegar al lugar ya no estaba la muchacha en recepción, ocupabamos algo y ya ella no estaba, creo que deberían mejorar eso tener recepción 24/7 o por lo menos una hora prudente...

• Daniel (7/5): - Muito próximo de vários pontos turísticos do centro de San Jose. Banheiro muito bom. O quarto não possui janelas. Foi um pouco complexo fazer o check-in já que não fica muito claro pelo anúncio como é a entrada. A porta fica entre dois comércios, uma cafeteria e uma loja de eletrônicos que estava em obra quando estivemos lá. É necessário tocar para que a pessoa da recepção desça e te entregue o cartão. O estacionamento é gratuito, mas precisa ser reservado com antecedência, o que também não tinha ficado claro. Por ser no centro, apesar da boa localização para caminhar de manhã, após às 21h parece que o local não é muito seguro.

• John (8/5): Great unit in central location but beware the noise - Modern with a good layout for short or longer term stays. High quality. Our unit had a balcony with seating overlooking the street with a view of the city. Secure. Very central location. Nice frig. Cooking setup was a bit minimal - more for warming up food than preparing. Location is in a noisy neighborhood and even the good sound proofing was not enough to dampen the street racket. Somewhat quiet from 12-5am. No one slept well. Poor signage. We would have been lost except for several friendly neighbors who pointed us to the door.

• LuAnn (6/5): Studio near Central Market - The room was clean. The bathroom was roomy and nice. The location has tons of shopping near by. If you have trouble finding the place look for Cafeteria Baru as it is right next to the door for hotel La capital.(see pic of door) The 2nd night was not as bad noise wise. There was no communication from the lister until a few hours before check in. I sent a few messages that were unanswered. I was stressing a bit from not hearing from them. Be ready to carry your bags up many steep stairs. I unfortunately got Apt 4, right across from Recp. The noise was aggravating. The bell rang many many times after 7pm. Noisy tenants were not managed by management. Sit down restaurants are a bit hard to find here.
• Oleg Evseev (1/5): - Nothing The time was 21:00 and I booked at about 19:00. The check-in time is set for "before 23:30", no one ever showed up. In messages at Booking the host responded the next day at 8:00. If you want to stay here, do book in advance, I was not able to get there at all

• Maria (8/5): - Muy limpio y con lo necesario para un par de noches Llegamos ya pasadas las 12 y a pesar que anuncié la hora de llegada tardaron en abrirnos. Y por la noche es una zona peligrosa. Afortunadamente nuestro taxista esperó con nosotros hasta que nos abrieron. El resto fue muy bien.

• Volgons3 (9/5): Fijn appartement in hartje centrum - Heel mooi, gloednieuw appartement. Smaakvol ingericht. Heel erg schoon. Goede wifi en midden in het centrum van de stad. Goede douche met harde straal. We willen deze vakantie voor de tweede keer verblijven voor onze terugvlucht maar de prijs is heel erg omhoog gegaan t.o.v. de vorige keer wat we erg jammer vinden.

• Leandro (10/5): - A localização é ótima, nas imediações do centro, no quarto as instalações são todas novas, o colchão é perfeito, ar condicionado funcionando perfeitamente e a cozinha é completa, com utensílios. Banho muito bom. O que poderia ser melhorado é instalar ganchos ou lugares para poder pendurar as toalhas no banheiro

• Tg-writer (8/5): Comfortable and kind staff, could use better communication and location information. - The location is perfect if you want to explore the city. It is walking distance from all the main locations. China town, stores, museums. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was really nice. Living in Costa Rica and getting a hot shower is amazing. There were no windows in the room and the TV didn't work. I asked the lady about it and she said I had to log into my own stuff, whcih I thought was weird. Also, noone ever answers the phone. I had to ask the people at the coffe shop for help and they got me up there. It is NOT user friendly if you have trouble with stairs or wheelchiars. It was hard to find because there are no signs.

• Myriam (9/5): Superb - Super clean, great bathroom, the lady at the front was SUPER sweet and helpful. We booked this room because we had to take a bus early the next morning. It's not a neighborhood I would recommend but if you need to take a Tracopa bus, I recommend this place. Kind of hard to see the entrance cause it's a secure place. The only thing that was a downside was the smell, like a grandma perfum smell and there was no window. But still I would go back if I have to be around this area. The neighborhood

I also booked a taxi through booking.com to take us from the location to the airport at 3am. Booking.com canceled my reservation the day before my arrival at the hotel. I chose not to stay at this hotel due to total lack of communication and canceled amenities.

Local people dont know this hotel exist. No adress any stores and buildings in Costa Rica. No one speak english at this hotel. Most rooms dont have window.

• Dino (10/5): The place is a lovely wonder in the middle of the city. - The place is right in the middle of the city - near the market, the cathedral and the central plaza. I had my initial thoughts about it, hoping it's safe and not seedy. My room was incredible! Big space, beautiful, the bathroom is squeaky clean, overall, it blew me away! The hosts including the cafe owner down below are the friendliest most accommodating people. The place is secured, no one else can come in unless you have a QR code (accessible upon check-in), there's a security personnel at night. The only thing I can ask for the management to work on is their name at Booking.com is different from the actual name in their signage, it's actually 'Hotel La Capital' and I went around the block with my luggage looking for the place and the people around barely has no idea where the place is. My Uber dropped me off a few meters away and that's when the confusion began. When you book for the place, get the coordinates - it will get you faster.
