• Johanna (9/5): - We stayed at two different places in Archanes, and this was by far the better of the two. The value for money is excellent. The kitchen was well equipped, and there’s a nearby grocery store that had almost everything we needed, we ended up cooking in the apartment most nights. The beds were comfortable, and overall it felt like a great home base. We also really appreciated being able to park nearby without having to carry our luggage up a hill, which isn’t the case for many accommodations in Archanes. There are a few stairs, but they were manageable, especially compared to our second stay. The hostess met us in person and was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. 😊 We would stay here again without hesitation. There is a church bell that rings often but we were already prepared for this. We kept the windows closed and had a white noise app to help ensure that our 3 year old didn't wake up too early. We all slept well and as mentioned, for us this was the best option in Archanes.
• Etienne (8/5): - Appartement conforme à la description. Bien situé pour randonner ou pour visiter. ( bus possible) Magasin en dessous de l appartement appréciable et super restaurant juste à côté. Appartement mal insonorisé ( Cloches de l église la nuit ) Travaux en face, donc la vue sur la montagne est gâchée.

• Snorre (8/5): - Location, very close to everything, great Taverna next door. Lots of stuff available like tea and instant coffee, decent kitchen though we didnt actually use it much. Really cute stray cat hanging out around the entrance which i hope everyone takes care of. Balcony is sweet. Its quite loud, Theres the bell from the church that goes off every half hour, and the vent thing outside also makes tons of noise without it being constant so its easy to get annoyed at. The language school next door is also active in afternoons and early evenings so theres some loud kids and parents outside in those periods. The washer wasnt there and i also had another question and with both instances the response was basically "sorry cant help you" which is ok but not really that useful.

• sundowner9 (10/5): Wohnliches Studio in einem sympathischen Städtchen - Archanes Luxury Apartment ist ein wohnlich eingerichtetes Studio in einem sympathischen Städtchen. Der Empfang durch die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Küche ist bestens eingerichtet, auf der grossen Terrasse gibt es einen Tisch und Stühle. Ich würde auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen. Nichts.
• Barbara (10/5): Małe, greckie miasteczko z doskonałymi tawernami - Gospodarz skontaktował się ze mną dniu przyjazdu. Ustaliliśmy godzinę przybycia. Czekał na mnie z kluczami, to bardzo miłe. Pokazał obiekt. Udzielił cennych wskazówek dotyczących okolicy. Wygodne łóżko, Bravo za ekspres do kawy i kapsułki oraz ciasteczka. Miasteczko zachęcające do odwiedzenia. Plac centralny z tawernami, w których serwowano pyszne jedzenie. Urocze sklepy z rękodziełami. Malutki sklep z nabiałem - pyszna ricotta! Obok domu sklep (pomocna obsługa, która pomogła nam w zakupach) oraz tawerna. Polecam.

• Dimitris (10/5): Ηταν όλα καταπληκτικά !! Καταπληκτική φιλοξενία και το σπίτι πολύ ωραίο και πεντακάθαρο -
• Valasia (10/5): Υπέροχος χώρος και πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένος - Το δωμάτιο είναι άνετο και κοντά στην πλατεία του χωριού, περιπου 5'. Ακριβώς απο κάτω έχει σούπερ μάρκετ και ΑΤΜ . Το δωμάτιο είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και πεντακάθαρο ακόμα και για τους πιο απαιτητικούς . Πολύ καλο στρώμα για εναν ξεκούραστο ύπνο. Μεγάλο μπαλκόνι. Η κουζίνα διαθέτει ολες τις ηλεκτρικές συσκευές. Ευχάριστη η διαμονή μας , σίγουρα θα το επιλέξω και την επόμενη φορά !

Un grande monolocale con terrazzo, con arredamento moderno e tutto quello che può servire per un soggiorno confortevole. Su tutto, l'accoglienza di Amalia: gentilissima nel farci trovare acqua, caffè, perfino qualcosa di dolce per le due colazioni che abbiamo fatto qui. Top!

• Parishan (9/5): - We had a truly lovely stay at this place. The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed from kitchen essentials to a coffee machine with coffee capsules. The location was perfect for us, a peaceful village just outside the city, far from the tourist crowds, which gave us the chance to enjoy a quieter and more authentic side of Crete. Our host was absolutely wonderful, so kind and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day, they even surprised us with ice cream, which was such a sweet gesture and really made us feel at home. We left with warm memories not just of the house, but also of the village and Crete itself. We're so happy we chose this place. It will always have a special place in our hearts.

Perfect location over a supermarket and close to the center within walking distance. Amalia was extremely nice and available to answer our questions and in case of need. We really loved our stay in Archanes!

• Joseph (10/5): Terrific place to make a base in Archanes! Highly recommended. - Beautiful property. Well appointed and comfortable. Convenient location. Easy walk to everything. There is a beautiful supermarket with everything you may need right downstairs! There is also an ATM. Amelia has a charming and immediately responsive host. This is a minor issue, however, it is right across the street from a church that rings bells on the hour. So if you’d like to leave your windows open, you will hear them through the night. However, I got I got used to this very quickly! And it’s fine if you leave the windows closed with the air-conditioning on.

• Koumen (10/5): A pleasant stay at a value-for-money accommodation - The hostess was friendly and accommodating, whereas my stay was hassle-free. The apartment has a double bed, where 2 persons can lie down comfortably, a table with two chairs in the balcony to enjoy the view, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. There is a also a clothes line with some pegs. In the kitchen area, there is a filter coffee maker, as well as disposable filters, a kettle, a sandwich maker, a Nespresso coffee machine, an oven and a stove, and a fridge. The hostess had bought a bag of chocolate-filled croissants, a basket of fruit, a load of sliced bread for toast, margarine, Starbucks Nespresso pods, Nescafe sachets, tea in two different flavours, honey, olive oil, and sugar. The fridge also included two small bottles of water, two cartons of juice and a can of soda. The oven includes two pans, in case one wants to do some baking. As for the bathroom, there is shampoo and soap and a washing machine. There are also slippers, bathrobes, a hair straightener and a hair dryer. Additionally, there are two towels per person (face and bath), as well as a floor towel in the bathroom. The apartment is air-conditioned, and there is a boiler one can turn on 15 minutes prior to having a hot shower. In short, it has all the amenities of a house, and it also includes enough food items to have breakfast. Moreover, someone will find anything needed to cook or bake there. Regarding its location, the apartment is 5-7 minutes away on foot from the central square of the village, whereas there are two supermarkets nearby, one of which is on the ground floor of the same building and also doubles as a butcher's. Two taverns and two cafés are also 1-2 minutes away on foot, whereas there is a pharmacy along the same street, just 3 minutes away on foot. The Hellenic Open University branch is also located there. Finally, parking was never an issue during my stay, as spots are available for free along that street.

• Claire (10/5): Exceptional - The host was just amazing, keeping in contact with us on our day of arrival, and waiting for us when we got there with a great welcome. The location is also fantastic, over a well stocked supermarket, and just a 5 minute walk from the main square with a great selection of bars and restaurants. The view from the balcony of the mountain was beautiful, and all facilities in the apartment were great. Our host even left some essentials for us which we weren't expecting at all, such as bread, snacks, even some ouzo! Fantastic value for money
• Don (9/5): A comfortable and well-located home away from home in a delightful Cretan village - We found the apartment relaxing, spacious and comfortable for our weeklong stay. We slept well in the very comfortable bed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from dishes, cutlery and cookware to coffee makers and a microwave. Since we walked and hiked daily for a week, we were glad the apartment had an ensuite clothes washing machine . The apartment’s location was great, offering easy and convenient access to restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. And our host was terrific, providing super-fast responses to questions we had about the apartment and Archanes, or quickly and patiently assisting when we couldn’t figure out how certain apartment amenities worked. We wish there had been a table and chairs on the balcony so we could have enjoyed a cup of coffee or glass of wine out there from time to time. Apart from that, no complaints— we really enjoyed staying in the apartment and were happy we had chosen this accommodation for our holiday.
• Christina (10/5): Great stay in Archanes and well located! - The service from the owners was incredible. The place is really nicely laid out with a great view of Mt.Juktas. It is over a grocery store which is very convenient, but it is very quiet.
