• Andrew (10/5): Great stay and break from the norm, lake was great, going to bring kids next time - Nice and quiet, right on the lake and everything thing we needed was in the room, even had BBQs and fire pits if we wanted.

• Gulbis (10/5): Excellent Cosy Cabin - The place was neat and clean ready for our arrival and also they had a Christmas tree that was just another small little thing that made it feel so cosy Everything was provided for us.
• Stephen (9/5): 4.5 ⭐ - I loved everything about it. There was everything there to cook a full meal. It had a TV that allowed me to put movies on a usb stick and play them and it's pet friendly (Made sure to clean the place thoroughly before I left). It was a nice touch to have a Christmas tree up. The 30 min walk around the lake is just at the door step and it's very scenic with loads of fishing points if you're into that. The lodges are located close to a road which is literally the only downside of the location, the double bedroom is facing the lake so it's not so bad. The windows could have done with a clean as they spoiled the view of the beautiful lake. That's about it.

• Enda (9/5): - Gas heating is instant for hot water and quickly heats the place. Comfortable beds/bedding. Lough-side view with walkway. Spacious and modern. Good kitchen,fridge,cooker. Easy entrance/departure. Very close to a busy road which feels a little bit unsafe and is noisy. Needs more ventilation, condensation after showers etc even with windows open and ventilation on.
• Orlaith (10/5): - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lodge by the lake. The place was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable, a home away from home. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need and more, making the stay smooth and stress free. The host was exceptionally polite, easy to reach, and genuinely accommodating, which made the experience even better. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the lodge and the guest experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, well kept lake getaway. I will definitely be staying here again!

The lake on your door step is stunning and the complete walk around enables you to enjoy to the full. Maybe a washing machine for longer stays as the lodge and location are fantastic. Horse for courses.

• Patricia (8/5): Although a little remote, the accommodation is in a beautiful setting and there is a shop nearby. - Very clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Brilliant shower. Lovely lakeside walks. Nothing negative to report.

• Zoe (9/5): Fantastic stay, would highly recommend. - We loved the accommodation. The cabin had everything we needed as well as being clean. The location was great. The BBQ and picnic table outside is lovely for summer nights and days. The bed in the main bedroom was tiny and it was very soft.
• Van Blerk (9/5): - Amazing location. I loved the walk by the river. Everything was so comfortable and all the facilities were just perfect. The only thing is that in the bathroom there is no shelf to put your clothes on. Also, in the shower, there is no soap caddy.

• Jacek (9/5): - Exceptionally clean accommodation, comfortable nicely furnished, spacious rooms and bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, bbq, wood burner, patio sets, great location right by the lake with a lovely long footpath around the lake, very private, great for kayaking and fishing (own equipment needed) or just chilling by the lake, we had a great time! Site not fenced so I would not recommend for families with pets or small children as there is a fast road right beside

Very busy road and not safe if you are travelling with small children and dogs. Owners should definitely think about different fencing, children and dogs could easily run out into the road.

• Catherine (8/5): We had a lovely weekend break with the kids. Great location for walks around the lake - Beautifully appointed modern cabin right on the lake’s edge. Plenty of space for a family of four plus dog. Gate to a lovely walk around the lake. All mod cons. Freezing when we arrived but didn’t take too long to warm up.
• Sean (9/5): Superb - Location was lovelly, great views and easy access. There is a really nice 2km walk around the lake and it is pretty flat and a large section is tarmac so easy to access. There is everything you need in the lodge you could need and during the summer months there is a nice outside area you could make more use of. • Andrelly (9/5): Good and relaxing. - It’s bigger than looks in pics. Everything was very clean, very cosy and warm also very comfortable bed is very soft. Nice walk by the lake amazing views. Shower head in both bathrooms were broken needed to have baths. I’m sure the owner fixed it already.

The view is very good along the Killyfole Lough and a very pleasant place to walk around. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was very clean. I struggled getting the TV to work I should have maybe asked the owner Jim to help with that one
