- Julia (10/5): Had an amazing trip and a large part of it was due to this lovely apartment - The location was amazing. The apartment was functional and clean. The host was informative and very accommodating. The aircon/heating wouldn’t turn on.
- Linda (10/5): We can't wait to come back to stay here! - This is a wonderful place to stay! It has everything you need and so close to everything. Very comfortable accomodations. The host was so helpful and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer!

- Goro (9/5): ローマ市内観光に抜群のロケーション - ロケーションはこの上なく素晴らしく、ホスト対応も素早くフレンドリー 敢えて挙げるとすれば設備が少し古いが、立地を考えると大きな問題ではない
- rorinn19 (10/5): - The place is amazing, the location is very good and convenient, couple of minutes walk for the metro, the coliseum, everything you need it in reach. Even a grocery store near by
The host is so nice and kind, made our stay special for our anniversary and was available for any question. Couldn't recommend enough Nothing. You should really come here yourself

- Melanie (9/5): Perfect Rome Stay for 2 - Emiliano was very communicative with us and gave great suggestions for Rome. The location was incredible - near many attractions and the metro so it was easy to get around. The apartment was cozy and had all the amenities we needed. N/A
- Kiko (10/5): - Apartamento muy limpio, el chico muy atento y amable, nos recomendó lugares para visitar y comer. Ubicación excelente, se puede ir andando a cualquier lado.
- Michael (10/5): Top Place to Stay In Rome!3 - Great place that is close to EVERYTHING!!! All within walking distance, or a scooter ride away! Great comfortable bed and pillows, and food right outside the apartment. Loved the hospitality, the wine, and the recommendations that were given to us for places to eat and places to see off the beaten path of normal tourist hotspots. I can't say enough about this place. Matteo is the nicest man, and even let us drop off the luggage early to allow us time to explore and see the sights before the apartment was ready. 100/10!!! Not much to say about what we didn't like.
- Damien (7/5): -
- Carlos (5/5): Not what we expected - Location is perfect, near Coliseum and a metro station. Staff was nice and recommended us restaurants and things to do. No windows. Patio door from the kitchen has an almost broken handle and it is bended in a way that it will not isolate temperature. Bathroom also has an old door to the patio just in front of the shower with no isolaton. I would not recommend it for winter or summer. The frying pans were bended as if they were too overheated. Some other utils were not cleaned up properly and had food leftovers. We stayed for four nights and towels, soap, shampoo and toilet paper was scarce. Overpriced in general.
- Vanessa (10/5): Everything I needed! - The apartment was large, comfortable and clean. Matteo gave us all the support needed and the location was near the main attractions. That ended!!
- Mia (8/5): - Location was amazing, being a short walk to the Colosseum.
Beautifully decorated apartment. The doors to the patio/terrace did not lock and would open due to wind. Despite it being private it still felt unsafe when sleeping.
No natural light coming into the apartment.
- Giovanni (10/5): Vacanze Romane on an affordable scale, without chipping the dream - The host recognized me and greeted me on my last steps on the way to the door. The apartment was clean, self-contained, and very central. You can walk to the Colosseo, get inexpensive groceries in the neighbourhood and even enjoy few trattorie without boring a hole in your wallet. Easy to find, well connected.

- Ina McEvers (9/5): Wonderful! - Host, Matteo was great! Very helpful. Great location!
- Becky (10/5): Cute place, Great Location - The location was amazing, so close to many great restaurants and the historical sights. The AC worked well and it had all the amenities you may need. The shower was slow draining, but it's an old city.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cayleigh (10/5): So central and super authentic . Must stay ❤️ -
- Cheryl (8/5): Great for seeing colosseum - Location Keys
- Sarah (10/5): We had a wonderful stay at Passione Romana. Amazing location, exceptional apartment, great host! - Host was lovely and very helpful! Location was great, apartment had everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend enough.
- Einis (8/5): Very good - Location
Very comfortable bed
Bottle of wine Microwave dosnt work
Taxi charged much over then price that was arranged a head of time
- Halle (10/5): Charming, cosy and well located - perfect place for a couple's break! - The location was amazing, with the Colosseum at the end of the street! There were lots of great eateries only a minute's walk from the apartment. The decor was beautiful and everything was coordinated with a lot of special touches and a cosy atmosphere - it lived up to the pictures! It was also very well equipped with a smart TV, a good shower, coffee filter and all the equipment needed in the kitchen. Thanks to Matteo, checking in and out was very easy, any questions were quickly answered, and we received lots of great recommendations for food and activities in the area which made our stay even better. Some of the doors could be difficult to open and shut (mainly the ones onto the terrace) but I think that is to be expected in an older building!
- Kerem (8/5): Nice place to stay and friendly owner - Location,Cleannesses Heating
- Egidijus (8/5): Very good -
- Tao (10/5): A home away from home, in the heart of Rome! - Central location, so close to colosseum and other places. Very nice place to live, right in the middle of the city.
Host is very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to come in early to leave the luggage in the apartment.
The kitchen is well equipped and provided a variety of spices.
Next door is a small shop selling fresh vegetables and fruits and milk…
The other side is a small souvenir shop. With so many shops around yet it is quiet at night. Bed is comfy.
WiFi is very good.
Best of all, it is on the ground floor, no need to climb any stairs! Loved everything!
- Julia (10/5): Perfect for couples - Very cozy and charming apartment perfect for couples. Location was excellent, close to attractions with many restaurants and shops at walking distance. You can see the Colosseo from the street. Communication with owner was great. We loved our stay! Everything was perfect!
- Pj (8/5): Very good -
- Kendall (10/5): Our stay was incredible. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The apartment is super cozy (extremely comfortab - Perfect location - walking distance to all main attractions in Rome. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants and shops. Nothing!
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darian (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Carl (10/5): A Super Romantic Apartment just mins from the Coliseum & Attractions & wonderful Hosts - Perfect! - The apartment and customer service was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Perfectly & peacefully located just a simple 15 min walk from the Coliseum with lots of cafe's & restaurants on the doorstep with the added bonus of a luggage storage shop across the road! Perfect if like us, you have an evening flight, 6 hours storage for just 4 euros!
The owners also offer a fab airport transfer service, Which is also wonderful. The apartment is well stocked for self catering and a supermarket around the corner. The bed was super comfortable, The WiFi excellent and for us, it was perfect and we will certainly be staying again when next in Rome. It would be an insult to even consider anything negative.. The hosts and apartment were excellent
- Franco (8/5): We felt happy with our choice - thank you Mateo - Location wonderful Small outdoor area but it’s typical of central Rome
- Gess (8/5): Great location, Sometimes noisy car alarms at night - Emiliano was really nice and showed us around the apartment and even took us to grab a bite because it was late. The location was great, and we had everything we need in the apartment There was a window that we could not shut, and light went inside the room in the morning. Moreover, every night there was an alarm from a car outside that woke us up a few times every night
- Dan (10/5): Super location. Nice place. - Very well located tidy apt. Bed is memory foam and best of the trip. There were construction noises like compressors and hammering that started at 8 or 9. Prob temporary but worth noting if u are you a light and late sleeper.
- Sheila (5/5): We know Rome well so we managed. - Nicely decorated and enough equipment in the kitchen and enough storage space. Little courtyard with almost no sun as it is at basement level. Lovely bottle of wine left for us and some pasta. It is very small indeed, particularly the kitchen. There is no seating area apart from the courtyard with hard chairs so no good if it's raining or cold or you don't like hard chairs. At least one more comfortable chair needed in the bedroom or the small room with the wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The only source of fresh air is through doors to the courtyard from the kitchen and bathroom so they have to be left open at nght however cold it is. This is potentially a security risk .
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (7/5): Great location - Location was excellent. The studio felt like you were in a cave and you were unable to relax anywhere. The small little outdoor gazebo had veryl uncomfortable chairs. There was nowhere else to sit down. The shower was very tiny.
- Ramunas (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff. Exceptional. Some noice from outside of appartment and it was a bit of cold to sleep. One night is moderate.
- Chintanie (9/5): We had a wonderful experience at this apartment and would recommend to anyone visiting Rome! - Emiliano is so nice and friendly! He arranged a shuttle for us from the airport to the apartment. Even though we arrived at the apartment later than expected because of some flight issues, it was very easy to get in touch with him and he met us very quickly to hand over the keys. He gave us a tour of the apartment and explained everything in great detail. He even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and helped us figure out where to get dinner our first night in Rome. The apartment was clean and another bonus is there are two chargers included in the kitchen, in case you forget to bring an international adapter. Also this apartment is extremely close to the Colosseum and public transit making our stay very convenient. I found the apartment to be a bit cold and the doors to be a little confusing. The doors to the outside patio were a little hard to close completely.
- Adrien (9/5): Fantastic Rome City Break - Fantastic location just moments from the Collesseum with easy access to all central attractions, shops and restaurants on foot. A well equipt apartment for two including a lovely small courtyard. Easy access to Termini station (20mins walk) to pick-up the direct Leonardo Express to Rome Fuimicino Airport meaning you can maximise your time in the city. Tourist attractions sell out fast so be sure to book in advance. Just beware water tap is extremely hot if put on maximum temperature.
- Spencer (10/5): Lovely 4 day stay in Rome, would stay here again 100% - Lovely property we felt very comfortable and the hosts were amazing! Nothing, it was perfect!
- Violeta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craciun (9/5): Great place to stay in the heart of Rome - The apartment is good and confortable for a couple.
It's location is great, being close to Colosseum and Roman forum, and having in proximity everything one needs (Eg. pizza, other restaurants, mini-market and bars). It is also in walkable distance to other tourist attractions, being located in the Historical Center. Bus stops are in proximity.
Communication with the owner was excellent, and Emiliano was so kind to provide us with his recommendations for visiting and enjoying what Rome offers.
The kitchen is well equipped, and coffee, tea, a bottle of wine and more are included.
The bed is very confortable.
The small inner terrace is a nice addition. In February it was a bit cold at evening and the air conditioning did not manage to heat quickly.
The soundproofing of the main door is not the best.
- Pontsho (10/5): Superb home in a great location, will come back again! - Great location around quality restaurants, great thought put into the functionality of the place.Emilio was a great host , always ready to assist us. He also recommended a few places we could try out that we loved. We managed to walk easy to the colosseum which was just next door. The wine was a pleasant touch and we loved the small breakfast! All great, very clean and well maintained
- Duka (8/5): Very good -
- Cheau (9/5): Superb -
- Phil (10/5): Everything it looks to be in the pictures and more. A romantic idyll in the center of Rome. - Emiliano was so helpful. Gave us clear advice on how to get to the property and was waiting outside for us when we got there. Was also happy to answer a question on advice for taxis later on that evening! He is very laid back, as are all Romans we now know!, and it is difficult for a worrier like me to do so but you can, and should, relax and rely on what he says.
Once inside, the property was everything we hoped it would be. The courtyard was just as it looked in the pictures. As was the rest of the property. The location was superb for the price of the stay. So close to the Colosseum and fori imperiali. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. We slept so well. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. Towels and shower gels were provided. There were drawers, a cupboard and a hanging rail for our clothes. The kitchen was fully equipped. It felt like everything had been thought of and catered for.
We felt safe and secure inside the property. In fact, once you close the door you felt so cocooned it was lovely and, considering how busy Rome is, peaceful. We were so sad to have to leave and we will absolutely be staying at Passione Romana when we return to Rome. We would genuinely fit our dates around its availability! Nothing.
- Francesca (6/5): Good bed and location, smelt like damp :c - Really comfortable bed and pillows, and good sized kitchen that was well stocked with dishes and cleaning equipment. Really convenient location in the heart of the Colosseum side of Rome. Walking distance against all attractions and good restaurants at different price points which is fantastic. The whole place smelt very damp, the place was clean but sadly where it’s a ground floor with bad ventilation in a few of the rooms, particularly the bedroom, it put me off staying here again. I wouldn’t use the drawers for the clothes as it just smelt too damp so we were living out of our suitcase for the length of our stay, the same with the kitchen cupboards underneath the sink.
The facilities were ok but I felt like I had to ask for things, it was really difficult drying towels during our stay as there was no heater but we only got one hair and body towel per person for a four day stay. It would be useful to have had some additional linen in the house somewhere so that guests can help themselves if needed as it took a really long time for additional towels to be given. Was also quite noisy but that was out of control of the apartment, fire alarms, building works, vehicle congestion and loud noise from other apartments, it’s expected for a metropolitan apartment with single glazed doors.
- Selin (7/5): Somewhat Pleasant, but disappointing & dissatified. - Everything looked great & beautiful. Passionately designed decorated & equipped for comfort & use. Towels were very soft. Kitchen was very well equipped with tools olive oil crackers balsamic coffee a bottle of lovely Chianti. Bed was very comfortable.
Location was great. The host was very kind caring & very pleasant to communicate with. He made sure that we had everything we needed. Floors were dirty. Feet would be practically black in about a minute, which was very disappointing with the very high nightly rate. The shower cabin was so small that it was not possible to move around or lift your arm properly. Again disappointed because of such high cost, you expect a certain level of comfort.
- Nagir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): Excellent - The location was great. The host Emiliano was absolutely amazing and welcoming. It was a very comfortable space that was created. He was helpful with getting a taxi, as well as ideas for different restaurants and sightseeing.
- Bjoern (8/5): Lovely apartment in the heart of Rome. - excellent location, close to sights and bars/restaurants
very comfortable bed
great host! the apartment is quite dark (almost no sunlight)
- Tony (10/5): Amazing everything. Highly Recommend! - AMAZING location, down the street from the Colosseum. Strong AC kept us cool during the hot roman days. Lgbt friendly. I enjoyed it all, but my fiancé preferred a softer bed. (I prefer medium-firm)
- Audrey (10/5): Perfecto (Italian accent) - The room is cozy and nice, with a perfect location - you can go to various famous tourist attractions with a 10-15 mins walk, and there are a loads of tasty Italian food / gelato nearby. Hope there will be some anti-mosquitoes stuff next time. But that does not lower my overall experience.
- Gabriele (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very friendly and helpfull, a real friend in Rome!
The flat has all the needed facilities and the location is perfect - at the end of the street you can see the colloseum.
Will definetely come back!
- Kfirstri (9/5): Amazing weekend vacation in lovely apartment :) - we loved the small terrace, the equipped kitchen and the design of the place, also Emiliano was very nice and gave us tips about where to go and left us a nice bottle of red wine and other nice little things in the kitchen :)
Super quiet no noise at all, far from the street, excellent for noise-sensitive people. The shower is a bit small and the mattress was fine but could be better. Overall the place is great!
- Gino (10/5): Emiliano was a great host that gave some awesome recommendations. The apartment is in a great spot that’s walking distan -
- Sheri (10/5): Loved the Passione Romana! - The apartment is just like the pictures! The kitchen and terrace made the stay private and romantic. Our host Emiliano was so friendly and helpful. He brought us bottle of wine with keys, gave us tour, and provided us with restaurant and site seeing recommendations. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and teas, along with fruit, pasta and sauce. A great stay! Nothing
- Fabian (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was great, our host Emiliano was the best, the location is perfect. Nothing
- Kanishka (10/5): Excellent cozy apartment for couples in the heart of Rome - Excellent little place in central Rome, just a short walk from Coliseum. The apartment was clean and cozy, with a cute outdoor terrace. Emiliano was an excellent host answering questions and helping us with getting a taxi on our way out. my wife and I had an excellent time.
- Anonymous (10/5): Excellent location, well equipped clean apartment. The host was friendly and helpfully, communicating appropriately prio - The location was fantastic, the place was clean and well equipped and the host was exceptionally helpful. I found it a bit cold, probably because we were here in April but the layout of the apartment probably means that it is a cool sanctuary in the height of summer.
- Alaa (8/5): Fair - Location is in the center, coffee, resturant, colosseum, shopping all of them near to you..
cost is fair enough as the Rome hotel expensive ..
The owner Emilianvs very helpful, great thanks for him.. Very small apartment and old, in ground floor, no window in the room..
Bathroom water heater very small.. enough for 10 minutes shower only ..
When you open the ground balcony window in the kitchen, small flies can enter the room..
- Glen (9/5): Would not consider staying anywhere else, when we go back to Rome - The property is perfectly located and with walking distance of all the main attractions. The room was stylish and had lots of character The cold tiled floor could have been a problem as it was quite cool in the room, however the disposable slippers that were provided showed this had already been considered
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect!
- Laxmikanth (10/5): perfect!! - The host was excellent, helpful and kind beyond expectations. The apartment was nice and cozy and well equipped. The apartment is perfectly positioned in the center of all attractions, which are all accessible by walk. The aesthetics of the room are very pleasing. As the apartment is on the ground floor and has a little less ventilation, it can get a bit stuffy in the rainy season. Room freshener would make the experience more pleasant. But overall it doesn’t diminish the experience much.
- Juhana (9/5): Superb - Location was perfect, Emilio was extremely helpful, very clean apartment and well equipped Slight noise from the trafic
- Minura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julien (9/5): The perfect romantic getaway for couples in Rome - Emiliano (the host) was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the city and local area. He spoke Italian and French, the latter was very helpful for us as we spoke very little Italian. The recommendations he gave us for local sight seeing sites and activities beyond the usual touristic sites, including places to eat and drink were amazing!
The apartment was clean, well maintained, and looked exactly like the photos. The bed was comfortable, the water hot, and the kitchen was furnished with all the kitchen basics for a short stay. We loved the little personal touches and 'passion red' theme that was consistent throughout, like the roses, the crockery, the detergent, the coffee maker, the microwave, and even the teas and selection of jams.
The apartment is a short distance by foot to popular historic sites such as the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and the Trevi Fountain. It is also a short walking distance from the metro station Cavour, from which you can then access many other sites via metro, such as the Vatican Museums (including the Sistine Chapel), St Peter's Basilica, Castle of Saint Angelo, Circus Maximus etc.
Emiliano provided us with supplies for a continental breakfast of toasted bread biscuits, tea, coffee and spreads; and of course an Italian dinner of pasta, passata, and our alcoholic beverages of choice (beer and red wine). He was also very prompt in his communication, and accommodated our requests throughout our stay.
I would highly recommend Passione Roma for couple travellers wanting a romantic getaway in Rome! Given the central location to historic sites and proximity to the heart of Rome there was no on site parking - this would only be an issue if you are planning on driving, not an issue if you are planning on using public transport and walking.
- Diane (9/5): Comfortable bed, nicely stocked kitchen. ac works good. - great location. food & shops right out the door. we were there for 10 days & ran out of toilet paper & host said, if you run out, you need to buy more yourself.
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great host. Outdoor terrace is wonderful. Quiet. Bed is a bit too firm.
- Christopher (9/5): A wonderful couples get away - Emiliano is a wonderful host. He met at the property at our prearranged time. Easy to collect keys and drop off luggage. A fabulous little property just minutes from the Colosseum. Easy to arrive by train. The city is easily walkable from here (just make sure you have quality shoes - Cobblestone streets can be tough on feet and ankles). I have attempted to come up with something I did not like about this property...but alas, I could not. I would definitely stay here again if I am able to return to Rome.
