Guest Reviews
- Niaz (3/5): - Only good thing was spacious kitchen I did not like about this property was that while booking the room online, it was not mentioned that the room was on the third floor and was a loft room. The roof was bending down, and there was very little space in the room apart from the bed. The pictures shown online were different and did not clearly show the actual room I booked.
I contacted the accommodation staff and explained the issue because I wanted to cancel, but they said no other rooms were available and cancellation was not possible. The staff I spoke to was not very helpful, as at least they could have deducted some amount and allowed me to book another room elsewhere in Norwich.

- Erik (10/5): Definetly coming back. - Amazing Was all good.Thank you so much!
- Ian (9/5): -
- Michael (7/5): It was fine. - The bus services in to town were excellent. There was only one other person in the place. The blankets were a little too thin. The shower gel containers were empty.
- Mthandazo (10/5): Good value for money - Good value for money for business trips. Nothing really. It was just as described.
- Darren (10/5): it was a great stay relax - it was clean and close to centre the one toilet
- Temitope (8/5): -

- CJ (9/5): didn't do much more in it than sleep and read a book, but it was comfortable, pleasant and quiet -
- Darrya (1/5): - Nothing
- Malika (8/5): Stylish Accomodation, Perfect Location for Town Centre, Very Good Value for Money, Better than Hotel - very comfortable and stylish very helpful when I turned up a bit early for check-in. Very good local coop shop for any stuff. Excellent kitchen should you want to prepare anything. Very short 10min walk to town centre. Reasonable priced Parking at front Didnt realise communal bathroom. My fault for not paying attention. But the price and facilites are so good it is not really an issue especially for a short stay.
- Vicki (10/5): A beautiful townhouse in Norwich city centre. - A beautiful townhouse with lovely facilities. It was also good to have the paid parking option in this neighbourhood with parking permits required. Two other guests banging on my window after midnight demanding that I let them in as they were too stupid to read the text message that was sent to them.
- Julia (9/5): A great place to stay for working away from home. - Really comfortable room and use of a spacious and pleasant kitchen. I paid for the car parking space on the drive which made my days much easier. Good location for town, and surprisingly not noisy, considering I had the front downstairs room overlooking the Earlham Road. Slightly better kitchen equipment might be nice (eg lids for the saucepans).
- Gino (9/5): -
- Tony (5/5): -
- Emma (8/5): The room was comfortable and in a great location, check-in and access were super straightforward too - The room was clean, comfortable and well placed for my visit.
- Vikram (1/5): -
- Claire (6/5): Loved Norwich, great place to visit. This accommadation is ideal if you are on a budget. - Basic, with a shared kitchen. Never stayed in a place like this as a guest, only as a student in digs so it bought back memories. Not clear on booking.com website how it was set up like student accommodation.

- Hallas (10/5): It feels like home. - I had a wonderful stay at the Golden Triangle Townhouse! The location is brilliant for getting into Norwich city centre, and the property was spotlessly clean. It felt like a true 'home-from-home'—very comfortable and relaxing—all at a remarkably reasonable low cost. I'd definitely stay here again!
- Joanne (4/5): -
- Adrian (10/5): - Clean and lovely a great place to stay
- david (10/5): -
- Bray (8/5): - We arrived in the dark in the middle of a rainstorm, not a particularly auspicious beginning. However, we had a comfortable stay. I recommend the Black Horse pub just down the road for evening meals.
- Emmanuel (1/5): Horrible. The worst I've ever stayed in this UK. - Nothing. They gave me an extremely bad room that someone had slept on. After paying £60 I called them to change my room they refuse. The hot walker jug is badly scaled and dirty with a damaged filter. My Experiance there was horrible. I was treated badly after calling the owner that the bed was slept on and the sheets were dirty.
- Ashley (9/5): - I was in room 5, the only thing that wasn't good enough was that it needed curtains that blocked out the light.
- Chavan (7/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): - The shower has been upgraded since my last stay which was much appreciated. Easy check in in a good location. Quite and convenient

- Libra58 (3/5): Con poco mejoraría mucho - Habitación amplia Limpieza, cocina común, cafetera, recibimiento.
- Ben (10/5): Perfect - Just a lovely place Nothing
- Mona (3/5): - The kitchen was good and I met a lovely guest. I was provided with only 1 small towel for bathing. There was NO HOT WATER when I took a shower. The entire house smelled like someone had gotten a takeaway and ate it in every room. In the morning I don't know if it was guests, but they were either exceptionally loud or the sound of their conversation travelled through the whole property. I could hear them downstairs when I was all the way on the top floor. I don't know where the hosts were. I sent an email about my disappointment in the smell and lack of hot water when all the reviews I read had been great. Also no TV in the room. I go to Norwich every month for work and have stayed at multiple locations. although the price was cheaper than where I normally stay near the train station, i had to spend 9£ on taxi to get there so didn't save more than a few pounds. Really disappointed given the reviews I read.
- Sydney (5/5): An OK place to stay, if you're happy to share a kitchen with other guests. - The location was the best thing about this place. It is close to bus stops in to the centre of town. The bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size and there was a good bathroom. The rest of the house seemed to be occupied by people who were staying longer and so the cleanliness of the kitchen was very dependent on other guests, some of whom cleared up after themselves, some didn't and there was no evidence of general cleaning going on over our 2 days there. There was no-one on site to manage the place. We had one set of towels and were near given another. There was no TV, which I would expect at the price.

- DPBowman (6/5): Nice-looking comfortable property, but a bit off-putting in terms of registration and access. - A nicely decorated house in a good location for both Norwich city and UEA. Homely shared kitchen, comfortable bedroom and clean bathroom. Fine for a one night stay. Pre-arrival registration was quite complex, including requirements like taking a selfie and making a £50 damages deposit. Self-access to the property was difficult: I was supposed to get an email on the day of arrival with the access code, but didn't receive anything. Tried to contact the hosts by phone and message, but no reply. Worked out eventually with the help of Booking.com customer service that the details were on a separate website/portal link that had been sent in an earlier email. WiFi was quite patchy in the bedroom, better in the communal area. The walls between the 2 bedrooms on the top floor must be very thin, as I could hear everything (and I mean everything...) going on in the next room.
- osman (10/5): -
- Matt (9/5): - Spacious room near the shower room. Everything is clean and calm
- Gin (9/5): - Quiet location, not too far from the city centre, with clear facilities and good communication from the host. The pillows were fully stuffed and felt a bit like a rock, but that's a matter of taste, I guess.
- daniela (3/5): Not again - N/A Was not clear in description that the loo and the bathroom were to be shared with the other rooms.
Noises from bedrooms on side and upstairs
- Gary (3/5): Cheap for a reason - Good location friendly host The shared bathroom was 1 floor down so difficult when you want the toilet in the night . There was no hot water just luke warm . The bedroom walls were very thin so was woken at night and early in morning by my neighbours.
- Shreya (10/5): - I loved the premise was clean and built with great ventilation.
- darren (1/5): Do not stay here - The rooms were tiny with single beds and and not enough room for a grown adult Not as advertised and been very clever with the pictures
- Kimberley (10/5): Lovely place to stay to relax - Very clean Nothing
- Jacobs (10/5): -
- pablo (9/5): -
- Cjroberts (9/5): Superb -
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Helpful staff. Clean. Nice big modern kitchen but shared bathroom with no hot water at 5pm on a Sunday. No mirror (or TV) in room 2. Well located for city, hospital & UEA. But so many emails about payment, registration, and check-in that I thought it was a scam. Much simpler to book a hotel. Please see above
- Katarzyna (10/5): Exceptional - Space in the kitchen and on the patio where we could work and eat together. We generated a lot of trash, and we didn’t receive any instructions on how to sort it or where to dispose of it once the kitchen bin was full.
- Dora (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect central location and a lovely clean space!
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (8/5): Very good -
- Giovanni (8/5): Very good - Location Bathroom downstairs
- Triciab (9/5): Great location, very clean, good value. - Stayed before so knew the location was great, only 15-20 mins walk to centre and on the bus route too with a lovely pub and The Plantation gardens nearby.
Grrat value for money, very clean, spacious room, bathroom and kitchen/communal areas. And lovely to have a bath!! Although lovely, it does have the feel of being furnished by and for men but have to say 2 hangars and a bathmat have been provided since my last visit and feedback. But no Hairdryer and, didn't need it on this stay, but didn't see an iron either. Would be good to have these provided in a kitchen cupboard maybe for use of all guests if owners reluctant to put in every room.
- Debbie (10/5): Very impressed with everything from booking to leaving the property. Excellent in every aspect, will definitely be booki - Easy to locate and access into the property. Everything was lovely and clean, like home from home. I couldn’t fault the property.
- William (8/5): Lovely accommodation near Norwich city centre - Clean, quiet and comfortable house Low height of roofing for access to loft rooms
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rishad (8/5): Very good -
- Torsten (10/5): Exceptional - Visited for a student reunion. Excellent facilities, clean, quiet, pleasant management. Appreciated the polite no shoes inside policy. Leafy residential area between town centre and uni; nice pubs and good quality reasonably priced restaurants. Connaught Kitchen round the corner great for breakfast. Nothing
- Dr (7/5): Good - Very good communication with short notice booking. Martin was very helpful to check me in and provide details for entry . I stayed for few hours only but happy to stay again . No tissue was available. No sign of water in the tap is drinking water ?
- Nandine (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (7/5): Excellent budget option with great links to the station. - It was easy to reach the city centre by bus .
The room was very spacious and the bed fairly comfortable.Hard to be sure at present as I am not long after a hip replacement operation.
It was clean. The kitchen was useful. Although I don't cook often.I enjoyed a local take away on the table in the kitchen.Thai and Chinese in my two night stay both a short walk away.
There was also a corner shop about a hundred yards from the front of the house.
The city is well worth exploring.
My own feeling was it was excellent for a single traveler like myself on this occasion. If I was traveling with the wife I would probably pay a bit more and get on suite facilities. This could be upgraded to that in time as there was plenty of space within my room 2 on the ground floor.
But then you would be paying more which might price it out of budget for some people.
The front door code lock worked really well.
Would use it again if I was staying by myself in the city. The washroom facilities although of course I knew about that at the time of booking. Not sure all would be happy to walk through the kitchen past people eating or upstairs to the washroom.
I found the bedroom door lock room 2 temperamental .
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gillian (8/5): Very good - Comfy spacious room, nice clean bathroom & shower, good location, helpful to have paid for parking as an add-on. Not the fault of the accommodation, but other guests were really noisy from very early in the morning.
- Sarah (9/5): Perfect location, comfortable stay. Lovely. Thank you. - The guesthouse was beautiful, bright and clean with recently laid soft carpets… the room was lovely, clean, spacious with a comfortable bed and the en-suite was nice too. Nothing about the property was negative- the only “negative” was the other guests who were quite loud, slamming doors until 2am & at one point having a little bit of a barney with one another, but this was beyond the owners control. It didn’t really affect our stay- my partner slept through it all! 😅
- Charlotte (9/5): A wonderful stay in a great location. I felt safe and secure, its clean and well managed. -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabel (9/5): Superb -
- Louisa (8/5): Convenient location, slept so well! - Room was larger than I expected, bed was super comfy and the shower was excellent.
It was easy to check in and out too

- Neith (9/5): Superb -
- Asonda (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Enriqueta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ariyo (5/5): Average stay. Not sure all the pre check malarkey is necessary - It was warm Hairs on the bed linen (multiple, although only attached one picture)
There was a mattress behind the bed
There was no lightbulb in the bedside light
Room is a bit shabby with scuff marks and cracks galore in the ceiling
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet, clean, lots of free to use utensils an soaps Did not see the iron and washing machine
- Sharpe (4/5): I didn't stay as it wasent for me and had to stay at a friends house as it was that bad - When I turnt up there was people that looked like they lived there in the property there was no kettle in the room no tv nothinking just a rock solid bed and that's it I did even sleep there slept at a friend's house instead and then they have the cheek after you pay for £50 damage fees there's nothink to damage ???? The hole experience?? It's house let that there using as a hotel ad well not a great experience at all for the price I paid joke !!
- Maclunga (7/5): Basic accommodation with limited parking spaces. - Price and communication when needing assistance with access. There was no toilet paper supplied. There is limited parking for a multi occupancy accommodation.
- Michael (10/5): Really attentive communication, lovely stay. - Lovely rooms, free parking. Nothing, was perfect and would recommend and use again.
- Natalie (9/5): Superb - Lovely big room and bathroom
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional - The layout of rooms and cleanliness Nothing
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Faustino (7/5): Good -
- Karen (5/5): Passable - The property was beautifully decorated. It was very unclean.
The kitchen area and the bathroom in our room was extremely dirty.
- Matteo (9/5): Superb -
- Lewis (9/5): Superb -
- Ariyo (5/5): Passable - Sheets were stained and hairs in the bed
- Jaakojari (10/5): Great value; clean, comfortable, warm and perfect location - The location was perfect for my needs, the room was big, clean, warm and comfortable. No en-suite but toilet/wash rooms on 2 floors. A shared kitchen with drinks making facilities. Due to the very reasonable price I wasn’t sure what to expect, I was very pleasantly impressed. I’ll definitely book next time I visit Norwich I can’t think of anything
- Armend (9/5): Superb -
- William (8/5): Comfortable stay in great location. - This was a comfortable stay just 10 minutes walk from the heart of the city. Many lovely pubs and restaurants within walking distance and the house is well appointed and clean. Martin and Lukie do an excellent job making great places to stay.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - The property is spacious, clean, nicely located in the Golden Triangle, it is by the main bus route into the city and the train station.
It's a peaceful location and with no TVs in the property it is nice and quiet.
Thank you for the wonderful stay and I look forward to returning again in the future :).
One further note is this property is ideal for contractors working in the city and there is parking by and near the property.
