- Alan (9/5): - Location to the city.
Nice room
Breakfast.
Helpful host
- Colleen (10/5): - Friendly welcome. Easy to find. Great breakfast options.. Very hard to find parking area
- Nicole (9/5): -
- Nicole (9/5): Best little B&B for the price - comfy & convenient! - Easy to find. Short walk to Launceston CBD. The room was pretty & the bed comfy with electric blankets. The bathroom was clean & functional. Good water pressure.
The breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with enough of everything to fill you up for the day. Nice views of Launceston from windows at breakfast too!
Easy to order Door Dash, etc, if want to eat in too! All good!
- Karen (9/5): Short stay - Staff friendly, and very clean No parking
- JILL (10/5): -

- Elyse (7/5): - Perfect location, clean & tidy, perfect for a weekend away. Not a continental breakfast as advertised.
- Rosemary and Stephen (9/5): - Old world charm. Rooms were decorated appropriately for the age of the building but with added convenience of ensuite bathroom and TV etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. View from breakfast room was amazing. Parking a bit tricky to get to but plenty of street parking available as back up.
- Jo (8/5): -
- Sally (8/5): Great place to stay for a couple of nights nice and quiet location - It was lovely old house heritage looking and clean and great location ! It was perfect for what I needed
- Kettley (7/5): Good location nicely decorated. - Hazel was very friendly and helpful, a bit disconcerting not having an open reception for info. Had to ask for a table and easy chair, which was easily fixed on request. A small sitting room would be helpful or maybe the dining room open apart from breakfast.
- Dominique (7/5): - Chambre très propre, bien placé Pas de double vitrage, obligé de dormir avec bouchons d'oreilles qui sont fournis. Il y a peu de circulation.
Petit déjeuner qualité très moyenne.
- Clare (10/5): -
- Maryam (8/5): -
- Dori (9/5): Very pleasant - Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, great location for walking around Launceston. Parking can be troublesome. 3 small spaces on property otherwise street parking free after 5 pm on weekdays
- Ileana (10/5): - The retro style of the house The breakfast had only cold food. Not warm milk or eggs.
- jenny (10/5): Very comfortable - Good breakfast.

- Gary (8/5): Good location. Easy walk into town centre. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to room. Basic but adequate breakfast starting at 7.30am. Very limited parking on site. Room quite small.
- Phil (9/5): - Great b&b. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good breakfast and quality furnishings. Nothing.
- lesley (7/5): A Comfy, convenient stay in an old treasure - A home originating in the 1860’s, renovated into a bed and breakfast provides a great base to explore Launceston from. Easy access into town, friendly welcome, and continental breakfast provided . Nothing
- marco (7/5): - Breakfast not continental
- Kal El (10/5): -
- Heidrun (8/5): -
- Peter (8/5): Great value and location - Location Steep stairs
- Liston (10/5): -
- Rhonda (5/5): - We were in our room on the bottom floor which it was great as we did not have to carry our luggage up any floors but the guest in the room above us had the air conditioner on and it was extremely noisy so we had disrupted sleep during the night.
- Dawson (9/5): - room nil
- Maretta (4/5): The breakfast is the only good thing about our stay here. - The breakfast was very nice That we did not receive the information of how to check in. Sat outside in the dark for about an hour being bitten by mosquitos waiting for someone to turn up to let us in. Booking.com were amazingly supportive as I was feeling rather desperate in a new town in the dark, hungry tired and ready for a bed. The hostess was very apologetic.
The bed was too short, our feet hung out the end of the bed and our head was lower than our feet, I ended up with a headache.
The room did not have a microwave, which I should have noticed when I made the booking.
- Jordan (10/5): - This place was so warm and enjoyable to stay at! We loved the old heritage building which had been maintained well, check was quick easy and friendly, room was big enough, cozy, comfy and clean. There are very few places in this price bracket still doing included breakfast and we enjoyed it so much. Would stay here again next time I'm passing through Launy.
- Sue (2/5): Never Again !! - The bed was comfortable This property is old and warn down and needs major renovations. The room was small with brick walls and felt like a prison cell. The host was there when we arrived and we didnt see anyone again. Not even at check out. No thank you. Breakfast was the bare minimum. There was no interation with staff at all. I couldnt wait to leave !!
- Lisa (8/5): Great value for money, beautiful building and views. - Great location, beautiful building, great value for money There was nothing
- David (6/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Enjoyed friendly welcome by hosts - The breakfast provided a nice range of items. No dissatisfaction with any aspect of the place
- Johanna (8/5): -
- Robert (8/5): - There was no internet on TV and the single bed didn't suit my height
- Chris (9/5): Very comfortable and easy to find - Lovely historic building beautifully restored
- Rosemary and Stephen (7/5): Quaint B&B - Quaint old historical home. Nicely decorated in the era. Clean and nice dining room for Breakfast with a great view of city. 1st stay was up narrow stairs and shower was hard to navigate. No fans or air con for hot days. 2nd stay was better as had a ground floor room and shower was great.
- cathy (8/5): This was one of our favourite stays in Tassie - The hotel was a beautiful old heritage listed building which was modern and clean inside. The breakfast provided was more than enough. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the centre of the city and high up on a hill so you had an impressive view over Launceston. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Was a little cramped in the room when two suitcases were opened with small bathroom.
- Robert (9/5): -
- Pierre (8/5): Très beau petit hôtel. - Déjeuner correct. Bon choix de nourriture Pas de vrai café dommage.
- Joe (7/5): -
- Janine (7/5): Very clean and tidy accomodation. No access to the dining room outside of breakfast hours. - Rooms were comfortable. No lounge area to sit in.
- Marilyn (8/5): -
- Corey (8/5): -
- Ian (7/5): - Location, cleanest & great breakfast Listening to the people upstairs not turning off the shower, toilet flushing & them stomping when walking. Absolutely the flooring wasn't insulated
- Kevin (8/5): Only stayed one night but would definitely return. - Quiet neighbour with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Old worldly feel to the place, comfy rooms and bed with a simple but pleasant breakfast included! Double bed needs to be upgraded to Queen or King.....I love my wife but we (she) needs her space!!
- David (7/5): - Great location, just a short walk to the city
- Samantha (6/5): It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, thank you. - The location was good, the room was large, the bathroom was clean. We would have liked to eat in the night of our stay, but the dining room was locked. The lack of a microwave in the room meant we had no choice but to eat out.
- Melinda (5/5): - Convenient. Simple breakfast Lack of any check in details. Room smaller than expected. Could hear the snorer in the room above
- John (8/5): The young lady working there was so welcoming and friendly. - The breakfast was better than I expected, refreshing. The bed in our room was to small and not comfortable, plus the rooms could do with fans. The steep hill walking up. Huh.
- Tomitit (8/5): Overall good value for money - Adequate No sink to wash hands
- Anne (9/5): - Quaint old hotel with yesteryear charm. A very comfy room and nice breakfast.
- James (8/5): -
- Mirko (10/5): -
- Suzanne (10/5): The view d - The house was charming with great period style breakfast room
- Vickee (9/5): Wonderful experience to stay in a well appointed historic building. - Loved staying in a historic building. Conversation to a BnB was sympathetic to the era.the continental breakfast was well presented and the china used was in keeping with the era. Convenient to main town centre. Limited off street parking. No fans in the room but would image that this would not be a problem for most of the year. We were very lucky to have some warm days but window did open so worked out ok!
- Wan Hazammy (7/5): Just for leisure with friend. - Nice view and very clean The stairs
- Tomitit (7/5): Overall good. - All good No sink to wash hand
Limited parking
- O'Reilly (8/5): -
- Caroline (8/5): Great B&B in Towm - Welcoming, friendly and well positioned. Great value for money.
- Gail (9/5): Lovely - Convenient location. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely welcoming staff. Character filled property Nothing.
- Mukhtiar (1/5): - No air condition
- Ray (8/5): - A standard continental breakfast was provided but with just the basic options of cereal, toast, juice etc. The ensuite bathroom was quite small but sufficient for average size people.
- Peter (7/5): -
- Judith (6/5): - Price Breakfast
- Jessica (5/5): - Host was nice, location was great. Dated, daughter got bitten by a bug in her bed.
- Bing Jean (10/5): - Heritage building, comfortable, convenient, breakfast provided No
- Eva (8/5): Short stint in Launie - Second stay here in a different room. Again nice view, nice staff, good value for money. More fresh fruit for brekkie.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): - Great view over the city, the staff accommodated us with a request for a lower level room. The continental breakfast was a good way to start the day. Room was clean with 2 comfy single beds.
- Kayla (7/5): -
- Kim Cuc (8/5): -
- Cathy (7/5): -
- Karen (8/5): - Quiet a lot of choices
- Linda (5/5): Unfortunately not comfortable or clean enough. - Nothing much. Shower had mould, windows, curtains full of dust; door fob did not work well; had to try 3 times to open front door. Staff members absent after check in. Few parking places on property, had to park in street. Room had several types of light pollution which made it difficult to sleep. Lights everywhere and our room was near the front door with light on all night; the roller blind did not completely cover the edges. Just not comfortable.
- Nikki (10/5): -
- Jennifer (9/5): Suited my purpose and comfortable. - The offer of secure luggage storage was not accurate. Any other guest could access the luggage where it was situated.
- Barbara (8/5): -
- Beryl (5/5): Stay was fine though accessing was difficult parking car was difficult - Not overly disability friendly
Toilets had issues
Bathroom floor wasn’t very clean
Disability acces was through the back
Located on a steep hill top Location and not accessible
- Jean (8/5): Been before, low budget, clean, communicate, fine - Fine, but nowhere to eat it as diner closed. Extra butter 😁
- Len (8/5): Very pleasant. Lovely house staff ,Rachel . - An olde worked Dining room with modern decoration & choices of food good. If we opened a door to the verandah would an alarm sound?
Would like to know more about its history as a school. My husband felt the bed was soft.
Did the bathroom have a hairdryer?
The bathroom fan is very cold & isn’t be separated from the light switch.
Jug switch light flicks On/off. Maybe the plug /fit.
- Alex (10/5): Cozy room at convenient location - Very good accomodation for the money. Breakfast was a great added touch. The location is convenient and close to all necessary amenities. The room was perfect and had everything I needed, including parking right next to the door entrance.
- Joshua (8/5): Pleasant - Very cute period bnb style accomodation Breakfast was a bit late, we had to be at the airport at 9am, couldn't have an early breakfast at the hotel
- Jane (6/5): - Rooms were very clean Breakfast was very poor...in a beautiful place like Tasmania there should have been organic fruit sliced up and organic juices...instead there was home brand Coles orange and apple juice along with home brand peaches and two fruits..also with Coles bread...if you are looking to stay in a place for a nice breakfast this is not for you...
- Tingxuan (10/5): - so nice staff
- Joanne (9/5): Lovely views. Worth the walk - Lovely old building with modern amenities. It is a big walk up the hill!
- Eva (8/5): Nice time away in Launceston - Nice, family run hotel with good value for money. It is a bit of an older building up on a hill which means that it's usually quite quiet. Thr beds are really comfortable! Breakfast could have more fresh produce/fruits. You can hear the neighbours in the adjoining rooms or above you.
- John (7/5): - Considering the age of property very well maintained. Room small Lack of guest parking on premises
- THAI (9/5): Very good -
- Joanne (7/5): Economic for a short stay in Launceston CBD. - Nice cosy bed and breakfast. Close to CBD offering a continental breakfast.
- Thanh (8/5): -
- Stuart (6/5): - Large windows to let fresh air flow. Very steep and skinny stairs, typical of old houses in Launceston. Small rooms.
