• Nicholas (10/5): - In my view this area is the best place to stay when in Rome. It is on the doorstep of many of the main sites, it is close to two parks and near to the start of the Via Appia country park. The immediate neighbourhood is quiet in terms of traffic but has a lot of restaurants and coffee bars and a very handy small supermarket open 24/7. Our stay was the third time in this apartment and was for 4 weeks. Everything in the apartment works fine and the bathroom has been upgraded since our previous visit. The bed was very comfortable and when our son visited he used the sofa bed which was also fine. The apartment was cleaned to a very high standard throughout our stay. The host Andre was very helpful and very accommodating. For a long term stay there were a few items of kitchen equipment that were needed ie grater, collinder and chopping board, tea towel.

У нас произошла неприятная ситуация со светом.. в ночь перед отъездом выключился свет в апартаментах и мы не смогли его включить. Наш отъезд был запланирован на 5 утра и конечно мы собирались в темноте, что было очень непросто. Связаться с помощником хозяина получилось , но решить проблему он не смог. С хозяином смогли связаться только на следующий день. Понимаем, что были праздники, возможно поэтому так получилось , но все же цена за каждую ночь была высокая и поэтому мы ожидали, что этот вопрос решится оперативно.

• Mark (9/5): Our stay was excellent. - Location was superb with access to Metro, a grocery store nearby and lots of restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of closet and dresser space. The unit was very clean. Our host very attentive and communications were prompt. The washing machine was easy to use. The building was fairly quiet and outside noise was minimal. It would be nice if there was a coffee table for the living room.

• Alain (6/5): Expectation Not Met - Photos of the apartment listed on Booking.com were genuine and accurate. The beds, both the queen bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed in the living room, were extremely comfortable. The shower water pressure and temperature were excellent, especially for both my wife and daughter who have long hair and need strong shower water pressure to wash their hair. 1. Upon arriving by taxi at 5 p.m., we had to wait outside the apartment building for almost 30 minutes before we were allowed to enter because the apartment provided to us was not ready. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment until the cleaning company arrived to clean. We were not planning to do anything upon arrival, but we had no choice to wait until almost 6:30 p.m. for the apartment to be ready. 2. My wife and I were extremely upset because when I booked the reservation four months ago (December 5, 2024), I specifically asked if the apartment was on the ground floor (lower level), and if not, did the building have an elevator. I was specifically told, “The apartment is located at the second floor but the stairs are large and easy.” The apartment given to us was on the third floor and very difficult for my wife to deal with. She had major back surgery several years ago and we try to avoid staying in places where she must walk so many stairs. I do not accept an apartment higher than a second-floor level. 3. There were issues with the toilet not flushing well at all. It took a MINIMUM of four (4) flushes for all the waste to go. It did not matter if it was waste & toilet paper, or just toilet paper, you had to flush a lot of times for the waste to go. In one situation, I had to flush almost 20 times for the waste to go since there was no available plunger to use. A plumber was eventually called to correct the problem the day before we check out of the apartment. 4. There is NO airport shuttle service available at all. I was told in December 2024 the shuttle driver quit and there was no service. I checked several times during the four months prior to arriving to see if the situation had changed, and it had not. So, I had to coordinate taxi service to and from Domus Anita Colosseum. I do not like the fact that airport shuttle service is still being advertised as part of this property highlight on Booking.com. This is false!
• Laoise (8/5): The apartment block itself was very noisy and we could hear the neighbours above us moving around at all hours constantl - These apartments are in a fantastic location, a two minute walk to the colosseum and san Clemente’s basilica, surrounded by restaurants. Within walking distance to many of the main attractions in Rome ie the Roman forum/baths of Caracalla, trevi fountain. The apartment has all the facilities you’d need for a few days vacation. The communication from the staff was 10/10. The little welcome gift was a nice touch. There is big double bed in the main bedroom and then a sofa bed in the living area which was very comfortable. There is full kitchen facilities and a coffee machine.

• Atienza (10/5): An amazing stay in Rome - The property is in a great location, just 2 short blocks from the Colosseum. It is near transportation hubs and it is very convenient to see the iconic landmarks of Rome. It has a very pleasing décor and is very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was a joy to prepare meals. The 24-hour Carrefour nearby was a great bonus and so were the great restaurants around the area. Our host was very responsive and helpful with our request and needs. I definitely recommend this property. Everything was great. My family of three spent 4 nights here and we felt like locals, which made our stay very memorable. I wouldn't hesitate booking this property again if we ever get to go back to Rome.
• Tim (10/5): It was the perfect end to a great 10 day vacation. Would love to come back. - Location was perfect, included a bottle of wine, coffee, and some welcome snacks. Air/heat was great, had a washing machine which was wonderful, great at blocking sunlight to sleep in and lots of windows to open. Host met me there and explained everything. Some good food nearby and a market just behind the apartment. Highly recommend. Floors were really dirty and the shower is a little inconvenient with the shower head being right in the middle of the little shower, makes it hard to wash.
• David (9/5): Colosseum - Brilliant location and great host - Great host, who sent Whatsapp instructions on how to access keys and into the apartment. They also made us feel very welcome with a welcome pack that had some local tasty goodies in it! They had a lovely guestbook as well packed with useful information. The apartment is very spacious and exactly as shown on Booking.com. The wifi was very good, bed was very comfortable, and air conditioning worked well – we used it to heat the apartment up a bit as the chilly Rome nights are starting to kick in. The area is about 20 minutes from Roma Termini but took us a lot longer to walk with luggage – the cobblestones were more of a challenge than other Italian cities we found! We will Uber or Cab back or perhaps Metro as recommended by our host. The area has many restaurants and local markets are quite well priced and great to stock up on a few things like bread and milk. There was an excellent kettle and Delonghi machine – plus a dishwasher which did a great job! There are plenty of power points including one either side of the bed and also plenty in the sitting room as well. Shower was a bit touchy with the gas hot water so took a while to get just right. Washing machine in the bathroom would be handy but we never used it as unfortunately could only stay for the two short nights. The extra-glazed windows stopped all the street noise so the rooms were nice and quiet. Recommended for the brilliant amenities and closeness to that wonder of the Ancient World – The Colosseo! Refrigerator was ok but needed a defrost as perhaps had been left open previously with a separate freezer that met our needs. Shame there was no lift as lugging 4 bags up the two flights of stairs was a challenge but the location meant that we didn’t mind. As noted - the shower hot water is a bit touchy, refrigerator needs a defrost and not having a lift was a bit of a pain, but minor really given the great location and facilities.

The kids were on a fairly uncomfortable sofa bed, so I’d suggest better for couples/ younger families.
• Charles-etienne (10/5): Perfetto - Everything was great. The apartment is in a great location near the Colosseum and the metro. Check-in was easy and our host was responsive. You can't see it in the photos, but there is a washing machine with a clothesline, as well as a dishwasher.

The property is very clean and spacious. The communication with the owner during the stay was great. The sofa bed and extra bed in the main bedroom were uncomfortable. The fridge wasn’t very cold.

• João (8/5): I recommend this apartment - The location is perfect. The assistant from owner was very good I was asked to leave 90 euros in cash at the apartment for payment of taxes. I didn’t get a receipt for that money. If there are taxes to pay they should be included in the total amount to pay when doing the booking. One of the single beds was broken.
• Ruth (9/5): Spacious appartment with excellent location nearby Collosseum - Very spacious, clean appartment in the center of Rome, 5 minutes walking from the Collosseum. Very good and correct communication with the owner, owner reply's fast to all the question's you have. The appartment has all the comfort you need for a few days in Rome. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Location nearby the Collosseum is top, everyday you get to see this beautiful monument! Also metro not far from the appartment + little Carrefour 24h/24h open + a lot of nice trattoria's in the neighbourhood where you can eat delicious Italian food.

• Richard (9/5): Well-furnished clean apartment in good location - The apartment is very clean and the hosts are very helpful. The location is good with restaurants, pharmacy, and market nearby. The kitchen and washing machine are nice to have. The apartment is on 3rd floor so be aware of the steps. There are some minor items that need repair but nothing big. Remember to have cash for city tax at the end of your stay.

I would definitely recommend the flat for a romantic escape for a couple. The sofa bed was old and dirty. The mattress was soiled and very uncomfortable. As long as you don’t need extra beds, I would recommend this flat, but if you need the additional beds, you will be disappointed.

Host was responsive when we had questions - all interactions were online/by phone, but sent someone in person when we needed something. Sofa bed mattress wasn't that comfortable. Pricey, but so were many other options for family of five in similar location.

• Alisa (10/5): A lovely stay right near some of Rome's most famous attractions - We were two blocks from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. It is a very nice neighborhood with great restaurants. The apartment was extremely comfortable. It was incredibly hot out during our visit, so we spent some very long siestas in there during the late afternoons. It was a welcome retreat after exhaustingly warm excursions into the city. All was great!

The sound proofing is terrible, we could hear everything from the apartment upstairs through the wooden ceiling. And it seems that the apartment upstairs is some kind of laundry room or communal place because there was noise coming from it since 6:30 AM until late at night every single day.
