• Margaret (9/5): - Large property with plenty of space and very comfortable No dishwasher. Parking was a bit scarey in the garage. Some general maintenance needs to be done. Blinds and curtains especially but I am being picky and would definitely use this property again.

• Anna (8/5): Great stay. Clean and modern house with everything we needed - Modern, clean with everything we needed. They also left a bottle of Prosecco which was really nice of them. Little bit cold in the top floor room but an extra duvet was able to solve the issue.

• Peter (10/5): Lovely house to celebrate and make happy memories with friends . - Location amazing. House had all home comforts and very nicely decorated. Beds comfy. Property had three toilets which was very useful. Staff very friendly and communication was first class. Property had a lovely sun trap patio area and a nice big garage. I came with friends to celebrate my 60th birthday and the owners left a bottle of fizz which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely house . Nothing to not like !
• Tathagata (8/5): Excellent value for the price - very reasonably priced. The house has an additional toilet which is not mentioned in the listing. Location is very convenient, there is ample paid parking near the property as well as fuel stations and an asda there is no dishwasher, some of the lights in the top bedroom as well as the garden lights don't work. the garage was unusable, we tried with an audi a3 and a mercedes a200, both got their bottom scraped when trying to go into the garage.

• Jo (9/5): Fab stay, would book again. Stay would be prefect with black out curtains. - Great location, property very clean & loved the little touch of a bottle of fizz & milk in the fridge. Our only issue would be the window coverings, especially with young children. Could really do with black out curtains as it’s bright as can be the minute the sunrises.

• Rose (9/5): A great home from home for our visit to family in Darlington. - Lovely spacious house, with lots of room for our family group of six. Very warm with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen for cooking, a large dining table and chairs and large sofas in the big front living room, meaning a good area for our family to sit and eat and relax together. Moji was very friendly and welcoming, allowing us to leave our luggage after our very early morning flight, as we were much too early for checking in at 3pm. This was greatly appreciated. She recommended the Tapas restaurant nearby for Brunch and this was definitely a great recommendation. It is a great place to eat. We all loved the house and will definitely book again when we are in Darlington. Nothing, except the smoke alarm went off at 5am for no apparent reason, which was a little disconcerting!

• Wai (10/5): Exceed Expectations! - We had an amazing stay at this place! The home was exactly as per the photos—spacious, clean, and well-decorated. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town and close to takeaways. The check-in process was seamless! The host gave us clear instructions and was responsive to all our inquiries. The kitchen was well-stocked. The parking in the garage was a plus! We have 2 cars and it's not a problem to find roadside parking. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit! There was nothing we didn't like, but for convenience, we could do with two sets of front door keys with a group of 7 people.

• Ela (10/5): Highly Recommended. - The property was brilliantly turned out, styled beautifully, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed to make our stay really pleasant. The communication with the hosts was easy and with very quick responses. The house is located an easy walk from Darlington Centre, has off street parking which was very convenient.
• Brendan (10/5): Beautiful home right in town! - We arrived on Christmas Eve for a week’s stay, the house had been decorated with Christmas decorations. Such a lovely touch. There was a bottle of champagne, snacks and even milk in the fridge! Such a nice welcome. The house is lovely, nicely done up, and totally suited our needs for the Christmas break! The only drawback is parking. There is a garage, but our large sedan did not fit in it. There is free on street parking inter dispersed between permit holder parking bays but these were almost always full.
• Zoë (9/5): Great central location, spacious and comfortable property with very thoughtful owners. Would definitely stay again. - It’s a lovely spacious and thoughtfully decorated house. The owners had left us a welcome surprise and the Christmas touches, including a beautiful Christmas tree were delightful. Lots of care and thought had gone into making our stay extra comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there were books and games in the top floor bedroom. The location is very central with quick access to grocery stores and cafes all within a two minute walk. The main town centre was just a five minute walk. We tried some lovely cafes and restaurants in the area. Nothing disappointed. Highly recommend. Only one thing and in the great scheme of things not a massive issue! The property provides off street parking but you have to go through the house to get the car out and then back through the house once it’s out to lock up, leaving the car in the alleyway while you do it.

• Sally (7/5): It was a great house with plenty of space. - The house was lovely and spacious. The cooking facilities were good. It was close to town. There were a few things that would have been good to put in a handbook about the house so I didn’t have to keep asking the host. However the host was very helpful and quick to answer. The only thing I should suggest is to update the beds as they were a bit uncomfortable.
• Alastair (10/5): Excellent Place - Everything, it was in a good location close to town centre. Parking was ok there is some permit parking but also for non locals. The house itself was suberb, seemed recently decorated and was spotless. Rooms were all good sizes upstairs and downstairs. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Beds were comfy. Nice space in back courtyard for sitting out. There's a large garage for parking. Contact with the host was good too. Slight problem with tv could only get Netflix to work no "normal" channels even though Freeview play was on the service there was no channels on it. Maybe a 'senior' thing?

• Team (10/5): Beautiful clean house, perfect for our family group. - 5 of us travelled together to Darlington for a close family member's funeral. We needed somewhere central with parking and enough space. The house exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and warm. It was furnished beautifully and the linen and towels were clean and soft. All facilities were there. There was a big garage at the back to park our minibus. There was plenty of room for us as there are 4 bedrooms (one double with an ensuite shower room with toilet and a sink, a family bathroom, and a separate toilet and sink off the kitchen. There was a yard style garden with seating for the smokers. There was everything we needed for a comfortable, quiet stay. I would definitely book this property again if we are staying up this way. Nothing.

Within walking distance to the town centre, we found the property to be in an excellent location. The landlord was easily contactable and very prompt with responses to any queries we had. We were very happy with our stay. A minor quibble, we struggled to close the curtains in the second bedroom. This room was used by our kids and as this room faced the main road, it let a lot of light in.

Few mins walk into town. Would strongly recommend. Nothing to dislike as the host explained about parking in the garage at the rear and answered our questions very quickly

Stayed with family for my birthday, to go to a gig at The Forum. Our stay was enjoyed by all and perfect location for centre of town and where wanted to go- everything in walking distance. Lovely host, with good communication. That we couldn't stay longer! :(

Needed instructions for TV - we are not used to Netflix etc so it was complete chance we got just basic ITV to come on!! Washing up bowl needed. A small table in the kitchen would have been useful. Not much work surface in kitchen.

• Joshua (7/5): Overall good. A few issues but the host was very helpful and acted promptly. - Great location, very near to the town centre. Very spacious. Clean house with plenty of plates, cutlery. Nice large TV. The electric is pay as you go. We had to use the emergency credit. It was a problem we had to solve and the internet connection was lost when the power was disconnected disturbing work and causing stress.

There’s nothing to dislike in this property!
• Helen (10/5): Brilliant accomodation in central Darlington. - The accommodation is super spacious, very well furnished, kitchen equipment was superb, shower excellent, we didn’t try the ensuite shower. It is also spotlessly clean. Only because it is exceptionally hot at present a few fans would be wonderful, also we could not get the tv to work, but is wasn’t a major thing as we were out most of the time, otherwise it really is a paradise house.
