Guest Reviews
- Dean (8/5): -
- Jazzy (5/5): -
- Ruthe (8/5): - Good price. Good food downstairs There was nowhere in ladies bathroom to put toiletries bag. My suggestion is a mirror above the sink in the room - that would have been great…..could clean teeth and do makeup in the room.
- Neville (4/5): - The odour of th room. Smelt like an ashtray.
- Arun (6/5): Good - Great location Noise from DJ
- Dumbrell (10/5): - Staff That if your address is in Gunnedah you can not stay there
- Ani (2/5): Would not stay again definitely not on the weekend when they have the DJ or any live music because there is no soundproo - Descent priced and central in town I was not told when booking that the motel turns into a full nightclub on the Saturday with music so loud that you cannot sleep until 1 am. The entire building basically shakes because of the bass of the dj. Extremely unpleasant.
- RICHARD (10/5): Great stay in a very comfortable Hotel - The Courthouse Hotel was perfect for an overnight stay in Gunnedah The remote for the A/C was missing. I didn't need it but I worried that I'd be accused of pinching it. But I haven't been so all good
- Cindy-lee (10/5): -
- Doreen (1/5): Very poor facility. No reception area only bar. - Booked in and out of the facility within 1 hour.
Had to walk through numerous bars to find where to book in, at the bar.
Shown rear external stairs to access the venue. More like fire stairs and defiantly did not meet OH&S requirements.
Didn't even attempt to recover payment made as it was through a 3rd party and venue was not interested in assisting in any way of form. Room was the size could only hold a single bed and had to have suitcase on the floor beside the bed. No ability to walk beside the bed (suitcase on the floor). There was no adjoining bathroom only an external communal bathroom which could be seen by anyone walking along the corridor.
- Peter (7/5): - Bed was very uncomfortable
- Shannan (8/5): Overnight stay for work, surprisingly quiet. I had a meal in the bistro which was a generous size - Staff were very friendly, the room met expectation. Shared facilities were clean and comfortable
- Janine (8/5): Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, excellent aircon. - Hot water for showers; excellent aircon even though the weather was hot. Futon bed was comfortable. A shower above An old bathtub , which meant a person had to climb in to access.
- Anthony (8/5): -
- Coe (3/5): - The room was waterproof with a bed. The place is a run down knock about pub with cold trickling water in the shared bathroom with was probably installed around 1900 and left to its own devices there after.
If you don't mind this, and the noise, that is OK.
- OToole (7/5): -
- David (8/5): Good value for money - Handy spot. Basic but clean. Tea and coffee and jug, plus air con in room
- Green (4/5): -
- Marisilina (10/5): -
- Philip (7/5): -
- Barbie (8/5): - Clean, friendly staff, secure parking at rear, restaurant downstairs. Air con, fam, tv, fridge and sink in room were great.

- Chris (8/5): -
- Kavanagh (7/5): -
- Scott (5/5): Passable -
- John (3/5): not good - There were used Band-Aids on the floor of the shower enclosure. There are rat baits along the corridors. After-hours access is via a steep steel stair to outside the building it is slippery with dew early in the morning, this is not safe for an aged guest carrying luggage.
- Claire (5/5): Passable -
- Geoff (7/5): Good - old bathrooms facilities
- Troy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brenton (3/5): If I was very tired and needed a place to sleep only I wouldn't unless all the faults have been fixe - The price of the room No shower, no plug for the bath, remote control did not work
- Matthew (1/5): Don’t stay here ! - Nothing Nothing is clean , smells , blood on pillow , I booked 7 nights , stayed one
- Joy (5/5): Value for money - Need cockroach baits. And sewage odour was not pleasant apart from that value for money. Having a cockroaches would’ve been nice
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Jayde (1/5): Bad -
- Elise (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammad (7/5): Good - Staff and clean I did night shift and some one was doing some fixing
If you are doing it please let the customers know for scheduled work
- Narelle (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ken (7/5): Clean, comfortable and close to town Center - Cheap rate close to town Center No hot water in room wash basin
- Anke (5/5): Passable - Pub food was good! It wasn't communicated that there was party in the pub until 2AM. Shared bathroom wasn't very clean, showers unusable.
Only cold water in bedroom.
- Newman (5/5): Passable - The staff were so lovely and we were able to get a few drinks before bed. There was a great air con in the room. The bed was not great but it wasn't uncomfortable. The smell in the room was awful. Perhaps the rooms need to be specifically non-smokers and smokers' rooms. The water in the room did not run hot or even like warm. Perhaps a note to say it is only cold water so conservation can be observed. The linens and towels were stained, and spare blankets had substances that could have been either blood, poo or chocolate. We refrained from doing the sniff test.
The bathroom had the worst smell, and the shower temperature was difficult to regulate. No bathmat or non-slip mat was provided for safety.
A little surface to put personal items up off the floor would have been great, and a mirror in the room where the shower is rather than in the doorway as you open the public door.
- Muhammad (9/5): Superb -
- Adri (1/5): Bad - Nothing Very very dirty
- Wayne (8/5): Great location great food and friendly staff. - Location, food, staff and pricing were all excellent. There were dirty socks under my bed. The single bed had a piece of wood under the mattress to support it, as the bed frame was worn out.
- Janelle (5/5): Passable - Food staff were great Accom needs updating I guess you pay for what you get
- Peattie (10/5): Exceptional -
