• stephen (10/5): Pleasantly surprised on arrival. Very comfortable stay. Ockendon will definitely be on our search criteria on our next v - We liked every aspect of staying at Ockendon Apt’s. Our hosts greeted us on arrival. Offering great local knowledge for parking, places of interest and restaurants to suit your taste, backed up with various books and booklets of local interest within the apt. Apt. was of a very high standard, and well located to town/sea front. It was also very quiet and peaceful both during the day and more importantly during the night… Not all Torquay apt’s are as peaceful! It can make the difference. Happily recommend… There are steps to negotiate down to the property, but it is Torquay, and a lot of properties have steps up or down to them, or have a hill up or down to them. It wasn’t a problem for us (58yrs old).

• Jo (10/5): We had a wonderful stay at oakendon apartment. Everything you need for a wonderful holiday. And Dave and Linda were very - The apartment was lovely and very clean. Home from home. Dave and Linda were fantastic hosts. Dog friendly, there was a dog basket with treats and towels etc in for my dog. The patio was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this apartment . Nothing
• Jess (9/5): - Fantastic hosts, super helpful and great communication, lovely touches with milk and biscuits and dog treats etc. As with a lot of places in Torquay, the lack of parking is the only drawback but the hosts try and help with this as best they can.
• Cynthia (10/5): Really nice place and close to all the restaurants and shops etc. - The property is in a great location with a lovely view. The hosts David & Linda were very helpful and met us on arrival. They showed us through the property and explained everything. The place was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. My wife and I could not fault the place.
• Julie (10/5): Relaxing view from a beautiful terrace. - Everything, bed was so comfy, everything we needed for a 1 week stay. The terrace is a bonus, you get the sun from sunrise till about 3:30 in the afternoon. Yes the steps are steep down to apartment but there’s a handrail and just take it steady. We tended to walk down to the harbour and get a taxi back @£6. Honestly can’t wait to come back. Nothing

• Tracey (10/5): Excellent relaxation trip - It was very clean, had everything you needed provided(even coffee pods, washing pods and dishwasher pods. The property was situated very close to shops and the town centre, it was very quiet so great for relaxation. The owners are fantastic and very welcoming and as they knew I was on my first solo trip, they even gave me a phone call to check everything was ok. It’s not a criticism but the steps from the road down to the property are a killer! However I appreciate this is how the houses are built into rock faces and without that feature I wouldn’t have had the privacy and lovely views from my terrace

• Nikki (10/5): Perfect apartment! - Lovely, clean, roomy apartment with a spacious terrace and amazing views, perfect to enjoy your morning cuppa! The owners are fab, left us tea, coffe, sugar, biscuits.. lovely little touch. Dave has a lot of good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Location is perfect, there are hills/steps to get to it but taxi is only £5 so we would walk down and get a taxi back due to being pregnant. You can also find parking on the road of the apartment, Dave will reserve you a spot if he can. Couldn't recommend this place enough, will definitely be returning. Nothing to complain about!

Beautiful - Location was great with fantastic views across the town from the outside terrace. The apartment was immaculate, well equipped and extremely comfortable, a perfect base for a trip to Torquay. And I’ve got to give a big shout to Dave and Linda. fantastic hosts, extremely helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be returning to Torquay and Ockendon house will be our first choice of accommodation.

• Kate (10/5): Best place I have ever stayed in! - Wow! 100% recommend Dave & Linda's place. The communication was the best I have ever experienced. The apartment felt more like a 5 star hotel! Super clean, comfortable, spacious, everything you need, including doggie basket with treats, blanket, bowls. Views from windows and terrace were lovely. Location spot on for shops, restaurants, harbour, beach. I will be recommending this place and staying again when in Torquay! Nothing!
• Jörg1967 (9/5): Accommodation is put on our list to visit again - The location is uphill very close to the town centre, the harbour and a beach. It's located in a quiet area. We enjoyed the personal contact to the host. Th good old school way. Keys handed over in personal including the most important explanations. Parking is no problem. We always had a parking in walking distance
