Then was very unhelpful when we asked if there was anywhere close by that we could possibly stay.

Apartment block was noisy in the morning but nit much can be done about that. I am awaiting my refund deposit but once that goes through I will be very pleased and would certainly recommend. Refund deposit return a little slow and needs chasing. I couldnt find anyone to speak to when checking out.

- Dwain (5/5): Nice apartment, needs better check in times, better hosts and get rid of that £250 deposit scam. - Comfortable beds and nice facilities Hosts not very welcoming at the start and check in was 4pm, we arrived after a long journey at 3pm and we had to sit and wait till 4:15pm before we could get into apartment. They also take £250 deposit by bank transfer and didn’t refund us the money till 10 days afterwards.

- Samuel (9/5): Superb - The environment was super, inside was clean and well decorated. All household items are there to make you feel like in your home. Wifi was good. Friendly and helpful staff One must be careful because most of the furnitures are shaking eg.tables, wardrobe etc. I believe that's why the insist on deposits in order not to refund the money. These furniture will fall and scatter by mere touching them. They refused to give me back the £250 deposit I paid for no given reason. I got it back from Booking.com after three weeks. Be prepared to fight for your deposit. They do not pick or call you back. We saw rats in the living room /kitchen in one occasion. The heater was not properly hooked to the wall. It can fall by mere touching it.

- Bethanie (1/5): DO NOT RECOMMEND! Not worth the hassle of chasing up the £250 damage deposit!! - The location was great because we were the for a concert at the cricket ground and it was only a 10/15 minute walk. The apartment itself was a little run down (cracked tiles in the bathroom, light bulbs missing and a lot of scuff marks on the walls) but still comfortable and provided all necessary facilities needed for one night stay. The staff seemed friendly enough, I think there’s a bit of a language barrier but the lady we dealt with was nice enough. The apartment was clean and comfortable overall. The property messaged us a week before our stay, requesting a REFUNDABLE damage deposit of £250. As we were there for a concert we paid, not wanting to lose our accommodation last minute. Whilst there we were reassured by staff that this would be refunded within 7 working days of check out, this did NOT happen. After multiple calls, messages and efforts to contact the property were ignored we went through booking.com. They have to legally give the property 30 days to refund (which they didn’t) and so booking.com refund out of their own pocket. We stayed at the property on June 13th and have only now August 20th received the refundable deposit back. Overall, the accommodation was worth what you pay (somewhere to lay your head) but with all the added stress and effort you have in regard to this “refundable damage deposit” it is NOT worth it, at all! I am really surprised booking.com still have them on their app. It’s a disgrace that this property takes this money with no real intention of refunding.
- Bailey (1/5): Do not stay here! - My deposit was not returned after 6 weeks and relentless chasing, emails, and phone calls. They lied to me on the phone numerous times about giving me my deposit back within the day or a few days but only did when I threatened to call the police.

The hosts ignored all my communications about returning the deposit! - The host was very quick to demand payment of the £250 security deposit, but when we left they did not respond to any communications requesting return of the deposit. It took a couple of months and numerous calls with booking.com customer services to get my deposit back. Massively disappointed and would not stay here again, nor would I recommend anyone else does.

Off road parking is available for £10 a night. We were asked to provide a £250 deposit - sent to the hosts bank account - before we arrived as well as the cost of the accommodation up front. BE WARNED - I am still trying to get the £250 back some 5 weeks since our stay. I've escalated to Booking.com who are also unable to get a response from the landlords. We had to pay extra to check in early and also £10 for parking. They say there is free on street parking but there was none available when we arrived, probably due to an event at Old Trafford. Update 12 August - still no sign of my deposit and no response from accommodation or Booking.com

When I booked this property in February it had no reviews yet, but it was a decent price and in good location so I confirmed the stay. I only wish I had checked the reviews again earlier, but when I did it was too late to cancel. To my horror all of the reviews mentioned the property scams you out of £250. I was really alarmed by this and the property would not answer any of my calls or messages and it was too late to cancel. I was advised by booking.com to go ahead with the reservation anyway, and if they didn’t refund the damage deposit, it would be protected and booking.com would refund me instead… I wasn’t hopeful, but felt we had no choice but to stay at the property, pay the deposit and hope for the best. The property itself was disgusting! The shower didn’t work, there was blood like stains on the walls and toenails found in the bed. Door handles were missing it was awful! The only saving grace was we were barely in it. Unsurprisingly, we returned home and after 7 days the deposit was not refunded and the property ignored all my calls and messages. I have finally got my money back 5 weeks later via booking.com. I only received this by providing bank statements. Would not recommend

- Faye (5/5): Below average, not worth the proce charged - Booked a 2 bedroom apartment - didn't get this, we were just dumped in the apartment that matched the car parking space number happened to parked in on arrival. Charged £10 for car parking but weren't informed of this prior to our stay AND the sign in the car park says £10 MATCH DAYS ONLY - we did not stay on a match day. Charged £250 "deposit" which was DOUBLE the cost of our stay - still awaiting this to be refunded. No mirror in bedroom or bathroom. No curtains No lamp shades. Dirty pillow. No trays to use in oven. Sofa was very poor, barely any padding left, very uncomfortable - needs to be thrown away. Children's drawings on the hallway wall from a previous occupant. Laminate flooring in seating area needs repair - alot of slats were worn/chipped. Laminate flooring in the hallway poorly fitted - some gaps between slats.

Where do I start? 1st of all, the property owner is a thief. Made us pay an additional £250 deposit on top of the room price (after we'd booked) which is buried in the small print somewhere. If you don't pay this deposit, you lose the money you paid for the apartment. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. Its been 3 weeks since our stay & the deposit should have been returned within a week. They have ignored all messages & the phone rings out til it cuts off. We stayed for 1 night & the place was left exactly as we found it so no reason to be with-holding it. The apartment itself is the most basic I have ever stayed in, putting a 2 seater sofa & tv in a kitchenette is what qualifies this place as an apartment apparently! The bathroom was big but the only things provided were 2 hand towels & some soap so the shower couldn't be used. There are no windows except in the bedroom & the only mirror was on a wardrobe door in a dark corridor! There were scuffs & visible damage around the 'apartment'. I found the lady on reception really unfriendly & seemed to have no record of our booking, I cannot stress enough how disappointing this stay was.

- Charlotte (5/5): Shame about the deposit system as otherwise would be a decent option. - Great location for the cricket ground. Absolute farce of a deposit system. I had to ring 4 times to get it back, meaning they had my money for over 3 weeks (as they ask for it 7 days before the stay too). Frankly it hasn’t been worth while, despite the accommodation itself being decent and in a great place for the cricket ground. Definitely won’t be staying again.

- Maria (8/5): Amazing location, comfortable stay. Expensive deposit with room for improvement in communication. - Stayed in Apartment 18 here. Excellent location for a gig at the Emirates Old Trafford, 22 minute walk away to be exact. Lots of small local corner shops and decent pubs near by also. Had allocated parking spaces available at £10 for the night. Apartment was spacious, very large bathroom, comfortable beds (one bedroom had two singles, one had one double.) Okay WiFi connection throughout. Sofas were comfortable, TV connected to WiFi and had plenty of streaming apps. Windows opened properly, with removable security latch. It was a very hot day when we stayed so this was welcome due to the fact there’s no air con. Didn’t use the washing machine but it appeared in good condition. Staff met us at a small reception desk, told us where to park & showed us to the general area of our apartment. Friendly and professional. When messaging on Booking.com, their communication was not great, I had to message a few times to get a response, but overall they answered my questions eventually. They required a £250 deposit which is certainly on the steep side even for the location, especially since the apartment was only £150 for the night. Have not received this back yet, but have been told it could take between 10-14 days (this is significantly longer than any other place I’ve stayed at) Steps up to the room were quite steep, not suitable for older folks, but not too bad for us. There were a few deep holes from where the different door handles had been slammed into the wall in the past, I did check that the staff were aware of these and they were. The fridge light was malfunctioning, flickering on and off when open, but it appeared to stay cold as normal.

Plenty of space in each room The reception was closed for large periods of the day so only way to contact someone if any issues was by phone which sometimes never answered. The front doors need secured as well as they were quite loose

- Rhys (10/5): Edited review - Hosts were amazing arrived at stared time, both with smiles on their faces. Went through the checking in process with no problems or hinderance. Property was just going to be used as somewhere to stay for the night with no thrills but exceeded this. However Deposit has been confirmed as a scam. Spoken to booking.com who have advised me and told me that they will pay out the deposits that have been paid. Call booking.com, explain the whole situation, email screenshots of payment transfers and booking.com give throstles nest 5 days to reply however they haven’t so booking.com have absorbed the deposit and refunded it back to me with no problems so I’d advise everybody else to do the same.

- John (1/5): Absolute Scammers - DO NOT STAY OR GIVE THEM ANY MONEY ESPECIALLY DEPOSIT MONEY - Nothing - staying at this place was and still is a disaster - they steal your deposit and have still not refunded it. the whole thing is a scam and anyone staying here or giving these people any money would be stupid to do so. As discussed they stole £250 deposit and have still not refunded it despite promising on 4 occasions so far. They will be reported to the police for fraud and theft. Booking.com's handling of this has also been disastrous and they are also culpable for even allowing this lying, fraudulent accommodation on their page.

- Jonathan (1/5): Accommodation is satisfactory, being scammed for £250 ruined it. - Location is good for Trafford area. In need of updating but wasn’t expecting much for the money. When you arrive they make you pay £250 deposit which they say will be returned in 7 days. They will not return it!! They do not reply to messages about it and do not answer the phone. It has been nearly a month now, it appears a lot of other people have had the same problem. I will go to my bank and try to get back that way.
