Guest Reviews
- Graham (5/5): Good value but cleaning and maintenance were poor. - The apartment was quiet and had easy access to parking. The host was very pleasant and allowed us to check a little early. The standard of cleaning was very poor. Rubbish left on top of upper kitchen cupboards, under cooker and under beds very dirty. Cobwebs on the ceilings. The insides of the windows had not been cleaned. The walls were scuffed and marked. The kitchen counter tops were laminate and needed replacing. We noticed on previous reviews that the bathroom door lock needs repairing, this has not been attended to. Little things like kitchen cleaning cloth and sponge were already used, The wifi code was not shown although there was a plaque on the wall saying ¨WiFi"There were only two dining chairs for four people. The clock in the lounge had stopped and needed a new battery. The second bedroom was very small with the double bed pressed against the wall.
- Shubham (10/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): Great! - Comfortable, nicely laid out. The heating worked however there was a very loud noise when it was on.
- Pauline (1/5): Don't bother - Nothing The beds had been slept in. It was smelly. Cheapest nastiest bedding and furniture. Post hanging out of the letter box. Needed a thorough clean, redecorating and new furniture. Scratches on the wall. Smelly cushions. Dubious looking area. Apparently unbeknown to the owner another company had booked people in the day before. Absolute disgrace. The hope of a chilled weekend turned out to be a nightmare. Had to book into a hotel . Awaiting a refund but still £100 down as had to pay for a night in a hotel. Never again
- Mark (5/5): Disappointed - It should of been better. Very disappointed The beds are so uncomfortable and they wobble about all over the place. Why not just spend a bit of money on a nice divan then nobody complains and beneficial in the long run.
Toilet door didn't lock. Such an easy fix. Stupid.
Maim bedroom door also doesn't close
- Tricia (10/5): Will definitely stay again - Went to see dad for a few days who only live across the road, perfect location for our visit, beds are very comfy,
- Jane (8/5): -
- sally (9/5): Wonderful, great place to stay, a home from home, super comfortable beds and settee. - Wonderful home from home experience, helpful host, superb location, great value for money. It did mention garden, but this is only at front of property, be useful to have fold up chair etc if you want to sit outside.
- Samantha (10/5): -
- Darren (8/5): Clean -
- IAN (10/5): Perfect - Lovely location
Beautiful accommodation Shower door lock needs replaced
- Joanne (10/5): - Apartment lovely and clean and in a good location
- Prince (10/5): - Very nice place comfortable beds everything we needed for our stay excellent
- Tyler (10/5): -
- Karen (9/5): Lovely family break - A really lovely, bright, clean, spacious comfortable apartment.
The location was great for walking to Prestatyn beach and it was quiet at night so we all slept really well. As we only had a 2 night stay, it would have been really nice to have had a few basic supplies provided such as tea, coffee and sugar: I have stayed in lots of holiday homes and have never had to bring these.
- Chilli Rum (6/5): - The property was in a very good location. Multiple supermarkets and shops with a close proximity.
Free parking was available to the side of the property 🙌🏽.
The beds were super comfy. The property was not cleaned to a standard for rental.
Fresh bed lining and towels were provided, but the property itself was noticeably not cleaned thoroughly in a good while.
There was dust built up on most surfaces, cob webs, and spiders in most corners of the property.
The bathroom was not deep cleaned, stains on the mirror, small shelf unit under the bathroom mirror was hanging off the wall and could not be used store any iteams on it, as we didn't want to impose any damages, smudges and water markes on and around shower and sink, dirt and grim around the bath and shower, which my partner had to clean after a 6 hour drive from London, so that the family could wash, freshen up and feel comfortable. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or any other items.
Kitchen again, not had a deep clean in a while. The cutlery draw, toaster, and microwave were filthy. Crumbs and dirt built up. My partner had to clean again before using any appliances, cutlery, and dishes before the family could settle in.
What would make the property perfect would be for the property to be spotless and clean throughout for any future guests. Hooks behind doors, especially in the bathroom. Upgrade both TV's with an amazon dongle or something similar to be able to watch Netflix's, Prime ect as the TV reception is not great, and it's helps guest with children to be entertained once retuning to the property after a day out.
- Rhiannon (6/5): - Quiet location, comfy bed, big kitchen. Smell of bleach when we arrived. Would have been great to have tea bags and coffee in the apartment.
- Krishna (8/5): We had a pleasant stay in this well equipped apartment. - Location of the property was very good. Parking area was close by. The apartment was well equipped and the host readily responded to our queries. The steep staircase to get to the apartment was challenging for our age and with luggage. The second bedroom had very less moving space.
- Shelly (8/5): - It is a beautiful place so comfy and well equipped , and a great location. Quiet residential near the sea side, local pub and shop 2 mins up the road , bus stop outside .
- Daniel (9/5): Good staying - Very good
- Charles (8/5): Stayed for 4 nights with another couple while visiting mutual friends. Good location. Good value. - Good location for walking to the beach or into town. we were visiting friends who lived 5 mins walk away. Apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. No shelf in the shower to put shower gel/shampoo on. Lock on bathroom door didn't work. No hooks on the back of the bedroom door for dressing gowns.
- Debbie (8/5): Very enjoyable - Was cosy
- Teresa (10/5): Great apartment - Clean, great location spacious Would have been nice to have tea, coffee and milk on arrival.
- Ventoux (10/5): Brilliant - Ideal location Not a thing
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - Well Appointed , clean and Modern. The beds , to soft to short ( not a major concern) .
- Julie (10/5): Excellent visiting family -
- Jonathon (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely area close to beech and very quiet in the evenings.
Sofa is so comfortable you could melt into it.
Beds are well made up and very comfortable.
Little home away from home touches.
Overall a pleasant place to stay at.
Owner very friendly.
- Russell (9/5): Excellent - Good location, short taxi journey (5/6 minutes) from centre of town, very good facilities, very clean, good value Nothing, all good
- Alison (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - A beautiful apartment clean and tidy, everything required was in the property. Lovely decor. Purpose of our stay was to visit family and turns out the location was perfect as was literally 2 mins walk away from each other. Julie was very accommodating and always quick and polite when responding to questions.
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - It was a lovely apartment very clean
- Embery (9/5): Very pleasant stay - Closeness to facilities and beach plus family just round the corner, very warmly home , everything was there on arrival very clean and well looked after apartment Water boiler made loads of noise when on
- Hilary (9/5): Superb - Location was great, flat was cosy, easy to warm. Beds were good, shower was hot. The electric hobs took a fair while to heat up compared to whatwe'reused to (the oven looked quite old). Otherwise all good.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathon (10/5): Fantastic home away from home. - The area is peaceful. The house is immaculate with all the mod cons you need for day to day. The owners thought of everything needed. Bed and sofa are comfortable, and the decor is minimalist but inkeeping. Would recommend. Plenty of parking is to the left side of the row of properties this one is attached to. Wifi is strong and a short walk to the beech. Nothing everything was great.
- Ildikó (7/5): Good -
- Peter (10/5): Relaxing , lovely stay - Clean and tidy , a warm and inviting property . Well worth a visit and very quiet neighbourhood. Will come again for deffo , great place . N/A
- Tracy (8/5): Very good - Great location to nearby beach, shops etc.
Lovely apartment,clean and comfortable.
Smooth check in .
Will be definitely be coming back to stay again.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Property was lovely, beds were SOOOO comfortable! Very clean. Nice location. Julie always amazing with helping from food places to making sure our stay was lovely. We had an issue with one neighbour who was SO RUDE! Number 78 or 80 (bottom floor apartment)
- Carol (7/5): Conveniently located and comfortable - It was nicely located to the town centre and beach The shower door was sticky and the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut or lock.
- Siane (9/5): Would 100% recommend. - Beautifully decorated! Great location.
Easy to find.
Pics accurate.
Host very helpful. Did request an extra bed for my 6 year old daughter but one wasn’t made available at the apartment.
We bought an inflatable mattress instead.
- Ranjith (9/5): Loved the stay in the apartment. - The apartment was very clean and the rooms were well maintained. The host was very helpful and responsive. Also the apartment was nicely located to visit key attractions in North Wales. The only thing that I didn't like about the apartment was the TV in the rooms were not functional.
- Amy (10/5): We had a lovely stay at this nicely decorated and cosy apartment in a great location. - The host Julie was excellent at communicating throughout via messaging and was able to fulfil our requests which was greatly appreciated. Apartment was cosy, decorated nicely and in a great location. Nothing.
- Kerry (9/5): Clean and comfortable - Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The location was good for our needs. There is a coop and pub about a 2 min walk. The beach is probably about a 10 min walk and the town centre is a 15 to 20 min walk.
- Syeda (8/5): Very good - The apartment was cozy and comfortable, beautifully adorned with numerous wall decorations. It offered ample space, ideal for a family with one or two children. Additionally, its excellent location next to the Coop. The TV needs an update and it would be great if it could connect to WiFi. Additionally, the bathroom door slams against the glass sink, which is not ideal. The car parking should be more clearly designated for the property, as it is shared by four properties. The directions should specify who should use it, as we received a polite note from a neighbor stating that the parking area belongs to residents only. As a result, we did not feel comfortable parking there and decided to use the public car park instead.
- Kim (3/5): Poor - The location was nice and the beds were nice. All electrical items were out of date PAT testing.
The windows upstairs didn't lock. They opened fully, very wide. The bed and sofa were against the windows and my toddler found it fascinating to open. Never before had they been interested.
There was no stair gate, it is an upstairs apartment with open staircase.
We couldn't rest with that in mind.
The apartment smells musty.
The bathroom tap falls off.
The toilet roll holder falls off.
The curtain rails are flimsy.
In desperate need of a good clean and update.
- John (10/5): Home from home - Absolutely lovely apartment 2 lovely bedrooms and living room and kitchen with everything you could possibly need No complaints
- Holly (8/5): Great base to serve as a home away from home. - Great little apartment with parking. The neighbours were friendly and welcoming. In a great location, just down the road from the beach and a short drive to Rhyl. Nothing about the property I didn’t like.
- Arun (9/5): Superb -
- Mir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa (8/5): Great flat - The flat was a home from home. Modern, very bright, comfortable, very cosy sofa, the shower is fantastic and a lovely corner bath My only gripe was with the main bedroom. The mattress was a bit too hard for my liking and it is a double bed so a bit too small and short.
- Maureen (10/5): We needed a relaxing break from work and that’s exactly what we got, although there was lots to do in Prestatyn if we’d - Lovely apartment, clean and very well equipped, with bath and shower. Comfortable beds, Good location for shops, pubs and short drive to Prestatyn beach. Julie the host was say to contact and very helpful. Nothing to not like.
- Gauri (10/5): The stay was amazing and the rooms were nicely decorated .it’s close to Prestatyn beach. There is grocery store nearby p - The apartment was clean tidy. Julie was so approachable whenever we called her. The only thing we didn’t was the bathroom lock was not working it need a repair otherwise nothing to complain.
- Chandra (9/5): Stay was very good, relaxing scenery, shop closeby to get milk etc and parking close to building. - Location was good...about 15mins walk to the beach Boiler was acting up & host gave us some tips to get it going. Thankfully we only needed the heating at night for a bit as we were out all day enjoying the beach walks.
- Linda (10/5): It was convenient, warm, comfortable and well equipped. - The apartment was tidy, clean, uncluttered and tastefully decorated. The host was easy to contact and gave us helpful information. The bed was very comfortable and it was easy to warm up the apartment when we put the heating on.
The kitchen was well equipped for our needs too.
- Heather (10/5): Excellent location warm & cosy comfortable stay - Warm and cosy and the location was excellent
- Janet (9/5): Fabulous apartment, once we got up the stairs. - Delightful, clean, and very comfortable apartment ideally located for our visit. Host extremely helpful, available without being intrusive. A perfect base from which to go out and catch up with family at different locations around Prestatyn. The stairs up - the apartment being all upstairs was unexpected and not ideal. We would have appreciated having the opportunity to take this information into consideration when selecting our accommodation.
- Shannon (7/5): Good -
- Phayv (9/5): Lovely few days away - It was a 15 minute walk to the beach. There are also regular busses to Rhyl.
There is a coop very close and a fish and chip shop near the beach.
The place was clean and nice. We enjoyed the stay. The owners were friendly and really went above and beyond to meet our needs. We are very grateful. Nothing to not like.
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was spotless, perfect location and host had thought of everything, highly recommend Everything was perfect
- Tomjo (9/5): First family visit to North Wales - Lovely apartment to rest after going round places. All needed facilities including a co-op very nearby, fuel station and parking. Quite area with mountain view. Not too far from the main attractions of north wales. Nothing to report
- Bethan06 (9/5): Really comfortable home away from home - The property was very comfortable and had (nearly) everything we needed for a great stay. There was an issue which was sorted out really quickly and efficiently by Julie. The internet wasn't working which was a bit annoying as we needed to work.
- Les (10/5): Exceptional -
- Foster (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vicki (9/5): Great self catering apartment - Location central. 15 min walk to beach. Everything you need for self catering stay. Clean. Great kitchen and bathroom.
