• Megan (1/5): Steer clear - It looked pretty in the photos online Nothing it was dirty insects and cockroaches on arrival. Not been cleaned properly there was 💩on the toilet seat the kettle had old water on it. The kitchen if you can call it that was filthy the sink had not been cleaned There was mould around the fridge rim. All the light switches and plug sockets were sticky dirty and numerous finger prints on them. Long hairs on the bed and pillow. It was like being in a prison cell, I stayed one night as I had arrived after midnight left the next morning the staff member just shrugged his shoulders at me and gave me a filthy look. As a solo young lady I felt very uncomfortable and vulnerable

• Kay (5/5): As regular visitors to Pefkos, we won’t stay here in the future. - Whilst being up a sleep hill, the Studios is situated a short walk from the centre of Pefkos. The views are great from the guest room outdoor eating area. Whilst the outside of the furniture has been painted white it is the same furniture that was there years ago; the mattresses on the platform were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom door didn’t close and privacy was therefore an issue. The bathroom door opened directly into the kitchen area where the crockery and cutlery are stored on open shelves and in a glass on the draining board; as the door couldn’t be closed this is totally unsanitary.

• Michal (10/5): Vše bylo super - Skvělé jídlo, personál i poloha hotelu. Jídlo dostupné přímo v místě pobytu bylo dobré a naprosto dostačující. Velmi jsem ocenil příjemný a ochotný personál. Dalším velkým plusem je samotná poloha hotelu. Skvělá dostupnost k moři i do města a nádherné výhledy na moře, zejména večer. Celkově velmi příjemný a pohodový pobyt.

• India (8/5): We loved the relaxed vibe on our stay and appreciated the kind staff at Karpathios Studios! Especially Stellios :) - Karpathios Studios was a perfect fit for me and my boyfriend for a chilled holiday! The pool was bigger than expected and there were plenty of sun beds available at all times. The staff were so helpful and friendly and we ate at the hotel on multiple occasions! The air con in the room was also fab! Stellios was amazing and so funny, he made the stay! There were some ants in our room but it honestly wasn’t an issue and might be typical for the Greek climate. We also couldn’t do any washing up because no washing up liquid was provided! It’s also important to note the hotel is cash only.

The young man and the gentleman who run the place were truly amazing ❣️ always available, smiling, and ready to help us with any question or need. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home right away. We also loved the location: very close to the bus stop, which made it easy to explore the island, and just a short walk to the beach. • Armstrong (5/5): - Comfortable beds , clean rooms, good air conditioning, Lovely views, and very nice swimming pool ! Rooms are small and very basic. The accommodation is up a steep slope, only a 3 minute walk down hill into the town. It wasn't a problem for us but, maybe for others.
• Laurence (8/5): - La piscine et son bar sont vraiment au top . La petite ville à proximité avec tous le nécessaire ( resto, divertissement, plage ...) La chambre n'est pas assez équipée, impossible de faire à manger mais vu le nombre de restos à 100m . Il faut aussi garder des forces pour remonter jusqu'aux chambres après avoir bien mangé , ça grimpe.

• josie (9/5): We will DEFINITELY be back!! We had such a good time we forgot to take photos! - It is a beautiful property - boutique style. Very quiet and relaxing. (This is not your all inclusive big bulky hotel so look elsewhere if you want screaming kids!) The rooms are decorated very sheek and they’re lovely. The pool is really clean and it’s a decent size with a deep end which is quite nice for a proper swim! The staff were brilliant. Stelios was ACE. Very accommodating and very welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Really really approachable. Cost of food/drinks/ice creams are all really reasonable. We are definitely coming back next year!!! We LOVE it! The cleaner was also amazing! She was so busy everyday. As soon as we had any issues she had it sorted within the same half hour! She’s brilliant! Pefkos is literally a 5 minute walk down the hill and you have everything you could possibly need, with a 5 minute drive away from Lindos too! No television in the bedroom. Mattresses needs updating; not the comfiest but I can sleep on anything!

Purtroppo il primo giorno ci siamo accorti che la camera era invasa da formiche e abbiamo dovuto comprare l'insetticida a nostre spese perché la risposta dello staff quando abbiamo sollevato questa criticità è stata "tutte le camere hanno questo problema". Inoltre, la seconda sera abbiamo trovato la terrazza piena di acqua perché la nostra camera era sotto la piscina dei bambini. Abbiamo avvisato lo staff anche di questo problema e ci hanno dato della carta per asciugare. La terza sera è stato risolto il problema. A noi è dispiaciuto molto perché abbiamo scelto questa struttura proprio per poter fare colazione e cena con vista.

• STEPHANIE (7/5): Je recommande cet établissement qui est un très bon rapport qualité/prix. - Etablissement très agréable avec une vue superbe où l'on s'y sent très bien avec son snack et sa piscine très accueillants. Idéalement situé à quelques pas du centre ville et non loin de la plage. Personnel accueillant et à l'écoute. Les studios sont sobres mais suffisants cependant n'étaient pas toujours conforme au descriptif, pas de grille-pain, ni de sèche-cheveux que j'ai demandé mais seul le sèche-cheveux nous a été donné. Quelques bémols concernant notre studio : la terrasse pas du tout protégée du soleil, un rideau occultant à la fenêtre coté piscine aurait été apprécié afin que l'on n'ai pas l'impression d'être en plein jour au petit matin et toutes ces fourmis dans le logement y compris dans le lit qui reste pour nous le plus désagréable.

U bazénu bylo vždy místo, lehátek byl dostatek a s chlazenými nápoji z baru u bazénu to nemělo chybu. Podle recenzí jsme věděli o mravencích, ale stačilo jednou vystříkat a nebyl problém.

• Anna (10/5): Fairy-tale like hotel, just stunning! - Brilliant hotel, with amazing staff, amazing views and the rooms have a real Greek vibe with the terrace at the front of your room to top it off. The only fault I can find with the hotel are the beds, our beds were rock solid and it was really hard to sleep some nights. But I’m sure it was just our room and everything else was wonderful!!

De egy hajszárító is jól jött volna. - a zuhanyzóban nagyon nehezen ment le a víz - tényleg elég meredek a feljáró, nem esett olyan jól felmászni rendszeresen

• Lauren (10/5): Amazing definitely coming back! - Perfect area and stunning views! Everyone so friendly and welcoming. Amazing food and drinks very affordable! There was ants in the room. At one point was in the bed too. We did get it sorted as the lady came to bring us some ant spray.
• Gijzmo (8/5): Mooie, rustige kamers op een toplocatie met een heerlijk rustig zwembad. - De locatie, de knusheid van de kamers, het personeel. De sfeer was heel relaxed en altijd plek bij het zwembad. Je hoefde dus geen handdoekjes te leggen. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam. Wat ook prettig was, was dat er geen tijd verbonden was aan de check-out. Wij moesten om 15.30 uur de huurauto inleveren en we mochten de kamer gewoon tot 14.30 uur aanhouden. Stelioj en George, bedankt! De tweede nacht hadden we bezoek van 2 kakkerlakken. Kan gebeuren in deze landen. We hebben dit gemeld en de kamer werd direct grondig gereinigd. Geen ongenode gasten meer gezien.

• Kamala (8/5): Ansprechende Unterkunft mit nettem Personal - Obwohl der Chef kaum Englisch spricht, war er super bemüht, das Beste für seine Gäste zu erreichen und ging auf alle Wünsche ein und wir haben ein Zimmer bekommen, wie wir es angemeldet hatten. Als wir vor Ort aber doch ein anderes Zimmer bevorzugt hatten, hat er sofort die Putzfrau engagiert, damit wir umziehen konnten. Das Studio ist stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr großzügig geschnitten und auch das Bad ist riesig und sehr sauber. Es wurde jeden Tag gekehrt und gab frische Handtücher, der Pool ist sehr schön und sauber mit tollem Blick aufs Meer und das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Küchenzeile ist eher sporadisch eingerichtet, aber ausreichend um ein paar Nudeln zu kochen oder Frühstück zuzubereiten. Alle zeigten sich sehr kooperativ und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Aufgrund der erhöhten Lage hat man die Musik der umliegenden Bars abends recht laut gehört, was für uns kein Problem war, man aber evtl vorher wissen sollte.

Pulizia scarsissima, presenza di scarafaggi dentro e fuori dalla camera, mancava la piastra elettrica per potersi fare un caffè. Camera angusta e calda. Le camere messe a disposizione per i clienti di booking. com sono le peggiori, le altre sono a disposizione di un tour operator inglese.

• Alana (10/5): Perfect self catering - Karpathios was an absolute pleasure! I stayed 4x times now and will be returning with my family. The rooms are quirky Greek style and very clean with everything you need. Fresh bed linen and towels during your stay and the cleaning staff are very friendly and kind ladies. The bar staff Stavros & Tasos are very accommodating and will take care of everyone and do their best to fulfill everybody’s needs. The swimming pool is very big and very clean. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. And taste good! Also you can see the most beautiful views facing the ocean.

• Aysha (4/5): - The view from the rooms was lovely. The pool and bar area was never too busy, which was nice and the food/drinks served was tasty and reasonably priced! There was an issue in my room with ants! There were all over my walls. I couldn't cook in the room because of this as ants would swarm the kitchen. Aircon also cost extra, which was a bit disappointing in the height of summer - I also did not know this until I had gotten there, probably wouldn't have booked if I'd known.

La vue est magnifique depuis l’établissement, et la piscine est très agréable avec le bar. Le nécessaire de vaisselle n’était pas fourni, ainsi que le savon, ce qui est dommage quand on vient en avion.
• Tania (10/5): Wonderful holiday, great apartments couldn't fault - We've had a wonderful stay here for the last 6 days, fantastic pool area, staff so lovely and a great vibe with quirky music not too loud. Great views from our little room, with all the basics you need, kettle, toaster, fridge and a wardrobe! Beds comfy on the little platforms, aircon nice and cool. Typically Greek beachside decor but clean and comfy. A quiet resort far enough away from the hustle and bustle and no issues with pool lounges, the pool to die for plenty of space, shade and very clean, bar great and food perfect for what you need. Thank you Tasos and your staff we were sad to leave 💙🇬🇷💙 Nothing
• Elaine (8/5): Fantastic late season stay - The location is fantastic. This is the third time we have stayed here and is ideal for local beaches and travel to Lindos. The rooms are adequate and basic for what we needed given that they are just for sleeping in. Ideal to have a fridge and kettle. Bathroom facilities were basic but ok. AC was free, previously this was chargeable and there was a provision for a safe with a 15€ charge per week. The room was not deep cleaned and this time round this was noticeable. The utensils were not checked to ensure they were clean for the next visitor. There was no dishwashing cloths provided so was difficult to ensure cleanliness. There was no toaster or hairdryer despite the description advising there would be. The hill up to the apartment was a struggle this year, I am older so found it harder so if you are not fit or able bodied this will be a challenge. I don’t remember the pool not being heated before, it was very cold initially but you soon got used to it.

• Zuzana (2/5): Kdybych se mela rozhodnout znovu, tohle misto si uz nevyberu - za ty penize, co jsem zaplatila, urcite sezenete lepsi s - Skvělý byl milý personál - barmani i paní uklízečky. Take lokalita byla skvela, vyhled na more, na baru se pripravuje chutne jidlo za priznive ceny. Prostor, kde se nachazi bazen byl velmi soukromy a klidny. Na ubytovani se velmi nelibila cistota - pokoj pusobil spinave, nelibilo se mi, ze jsem si vse musela poridit sama, nebylo zde ani mydlo na ruce, na me prani jsem od pani uklizecky dostala houbicku s pripravkem na myti nadobi alespon. Pani uklizecky sice kazdy den pokoje obchazely, dostala jsem na me prani cisty rucnik, ale zadny uklid neprobihal. Fotky za me velice zkreslujici k realite. Uvitala bych nejakou financni kompenzaci, protoze 2000,- korun ceskych na noc je hodne mimo za tohle
• Frank (8/5): Good value for money and would go again. - Towels and bins changed daily, always sunbeds available, staff friendly, good lcoation. Not sure that room was cleaned thoroughly throughout our two week stay. Area between beds was dusty, bathroom floor didn't seem to have been mopped.

• YAEL (7/5): - מיקום מושלם, לא על הרחוב הרועש מאנשים בכל ערב, קצת מרוחק אבל בהחיכה ברגל של 5 דקות אפשר להיות במרכז העניינים בערב. קרוב לחופים נהדרים במרחק הליכה. נוף לים מהמרפסת. חדר עם מטבחון שאפשר לבשל ארוחה ומקרר. בעיית נמלים. בכל מקום כולל בחדר ועל המיטה. דרש ריסוס, ביקשנו שירססו ואחרי שעשו את זה יומיים לא היו נמלים ואחרי יומיים שוב חזרו.

• Barry (8/5): Good Choice if You Are Fit & Mobile - Good location on the edge of Pefkos / Pefki, although uphill. About 100m from the bars/restaurants. Ample car parking during my stay. Most of the 38 rooms seemed to have some outdoor space to use. There were sufficient plug sockets (4). Hot water throughout the day. Great pool, and beaches a reasonable stroll away. Pool bar open until around 01:30, with friendly bar staff. But only serves food until 17:00. Sky Sports on Pool Bar's TV. Wet-room style bathroom. Regular cleaning/towel changes. A handyman visits everyday to test the pool water, and for any facilities issues you may have. A seriously steep driveway of about 50m, and transfer coaches will drop you on the road below, leaving you to carry your bags up. In a taxi or car there is no problem. Basic Greek style accommodation, with no frills, other than Aircon (which may be an extra charge). The in-room safety deposit box is €15 per week (in 09/2024), but not big enough for a iPad or laptop. Small kitchen unit, and the old kettle didn't switch itself off and so could get very hot to touch. Turkey Ham instead of real back bacon in the English Breakfast at Pool Bar. Better value options in the village. Mainly clean, but there was black ring around the pool edge, and my very 'brown' toilet brush should be replaced.

• OFEK (9/5): נהנו מאוד מהמתחם, מהחדר, מהבריכה, מהאפשרות לבשל, מהנוף ומהקירבה ללינדוס. קצת התבאסנו שהמטבח לא היה מאובזר מספיק. אבל בסך - בריכה כיפית, מתחם אירוח כיפי במחיר נוח, אפשרות לבשל, נוף מדהים, קירבה ללינדוס מטבח לא מאובזר מספיק - ללא סבון וסקוץ׳ לשטיפה, ללא מלח, פלפל ומצרכים בסיסיים. כשביקשנו לא הסכימו לספר מה שנדרש לניקיון הכלים ונאלצנו לקנות בעצמנו.

• Lennart (5/5): Kurzer Kurztrip ok, mehr aber auch nicht - Lage war ganz ok, am Hang gelegen allerdings runter zum Dorf / Tavernen muss man schon so ca 50-70 Höhenmeter hinter sich bringen. Adresse stimmt auch nicht, da steht man beim Nachbarn aufm Grundstück der sichtlich genervt davon war, dass die Unterkunft es nicht hinbekommt diese bei Booking oder Google anzupassen. An sich war unser Zimmer passabel. Anlage hat einen Pool an dem eigentlich im September immer genug Platz war. Aus Griechenlandurlauben kennt man rudimentär ausgestattete Küchen, aber hier was es noch eine Stufe drunter. Geschirr für 2, Besteck nur zusammengewürfelt, keine kleinen Löffel oder sonstige Besteck um z.B. Nudeln oder Saucen zu schöpfen. Nudelsieb aber vorhanden. Gastfreundlichkeit steht hier auch nicht im Vordergrund. Handtücher gab es bei einem 6-tägigen Aufenthalt keine neuen, Zimmer wurden nicht gereinigt / gefegt, nur der Müll alle 1-2 Tage geleert. Wer hier nur einen Zwischenstopp machen möchte von 2-3 Tagen, vollkommen ausreichend aber ich würde hier nicht nochmal für knapp eine Woche buchen. Entsprechend enttäuscht waren wir, aber primär vom Service und der Sauberkeit.
• Thorben (7/5): Ein toller Aufenthalt mit gutem Preis Leistungsverhalten. Wer puren Luxus sucht ist hier falsch aber wer ein freundliche - Super freundliches Personal! Gute Aussicht und eine Gute Lage. Klimaanlage kostet extra.
• Robert (1/5): Ein dreckiges Loch!!! - Nicht Diese Unterkunft ist überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen!!! Wir hatten Ameisen im Bett, als wir uns beim Personal beschwerten, waren sie nicht interessiert... das Zimmer und das Badezimmer stanken nach Abwasser... in drei Tagen kam die Putzfrau kein einziges Mal... völliges Chaos!! !

• Barbara (6/5): The view is beautiful, and as long as you're well-prepared, it's a good experience. - The location is beautiful, but it's important to note that it's very steep. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone without a car. The bartender guy was friendly, but there's no real staff presence, so don't expect an office or a room tour. For me, it was not a problem. There were ants in the bed, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. While the cleaning staff made the bed and removed sand from the bathroom, they didn't clean much else. We had almost no basic supplies and had to buy our own toiletries and cleaning products. Additionally, they only accept cash payments at the bar.
• Eymen (4/5): gross - the studios outer was nice with a big pool area with lots of sun beds, a great ocean view, hill location was manageable. bed bugs is living in the mattresses, we got sick of it and more than twenty marks on our body from the bugs, rooms are awful as they are not renovated as some may say.. cleaning was awful too, blood stains, yellow pee(?) stains on sheets, pillows, quilt, towels! kitchen area was ignored due to disgust of rust in equipments. me and my fiancé are never coming back nor advising anyone to book this place out of other places available in pefkoi area. trust us for your own good. and we are still waiting for booking.com or the studios owner to give us a part refund of our spent money to this place.

• Irmgard (9/5): - Fantastischer Ausblick, vom Preisleistungsverhätnis eine gute schöne Anlage. Die Appartements sind basic aber recht nett und sauber und das notwendige ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war ruhig und erholsam. Ich fand beim ankommen ein bisschen schade, dass man nicht ein paR Infos über den Ort und die umliegende Gegend..vielleicht mit einer Karte und Informationen über den Busverkehr erhalten hat...trotz Internet wäre das für uns hilfreich gewesen...
• Andreja (1/5): Huge disappointment - Only the view from the balcony, but don't be deluded by the pictures provided from the property, it is not like that when you see it in person. First of all, in my booking confirmation it was not stated that air condition is extra chargable (see attached screen shot). Upon our arrival Karphatios studios told us that we need to pay 10 euros per day for AC. We didn't want to pay and they did not allow us to use AC if we didn't pay. Because I booked an apartment with AC free of charge and I could not use AC I've been contacting Booking Customer support to help me to get the reimbursement of my money. During our stay I also sent the message via Booking to the owner's daughter Flora if she could provide us with the fan, because the heat and humidity were unbearable in the room, but she never replied to my message. I also asked the staff who work at the reception to forward her the question, but nothing was done. Second, kindly find attached the list of facilities that I booked and I paid for. From that list we were not provided with: -hairdryer -lap top safe -full kitchenware (we didn't get cutting knife and cutting board, cloth, spunge and liquid for dishes) -wineglasses -all the kitchenware WAS DIRTY when we entered the room (see photos attached) and stove top, forks and knives were rusty and not usable. For these facilities which were not provided I demanded from Booking reimbursment of my money (10% of total amount paid for my stay), because I paid for something which I did not recieve and what made my entire stay much more complicated than it should have been. Third, the roof of the balcony was leaking the whole time during our stay there, water was dripping on the entrance and on our terrace table. I complained about that to the owner and again nothing was done. All of that gave me the impression that the owner doesn't care at all about the experience of their guests, especially if you pay the whole amount for your stay in advance, as we did, and now we are facing dificulties to get our money back.

• Louise (7/5): Good, relaxing break. - Very good location. Great price. Nice big pool area. Cleaner hadn’t been in after day 4 so I had to ask. She only came 1 more time in one week.
• Ema (6/5): - Amazing design of the room, pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, perfect view, kind personal. We had big problem with ants, they were all over the room, even bed. Lack of a basic equipment, we had to buy hand soap, soap for dishes and sponge for dishes, salt... But the personal was amazing and when we asked them for anything they took care of it, we borrowed sharp knife, told them about the ants (they dissapeared for a while but were back the next day 😢)

• Bram (8/5): - Het zwembad was mooi en schoon. Voldoende ligbedjes met parasols. Bar heel de dag open voor drinken en eten. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf zitje bij studio en zwembad. Voldoende ruimte om huur auto [gratis]te parkeren Prima bedden/matrassen Steile helling als ingang naar complex. Badkamer erg basic. Een houder/glijstang voor een douchekop zou makkelijk zijn.

• Marin Valkov (4/5): - Хареса ми гледката към морето и чаровната котка. Басейнът беше добре. Персоналът бе много любезен, учтив и отзивчив. Не ни харесаха следните неща: 1. Адски неудобни легла; 2. Нямаше сешоар; 3. Климатикът се заплаща допълнително, а без него е много горещо в стаята. Когато правите резервация обърнете внимание, че е платена услуга. 4. Трябваше да ни направят простор за дрехите. 5. Имаше мравки в стаята. 6. Едвам работеше хладилника. Условията ни наподобяват къмпинг.
• babino (9/5): La pace nella natura, la vista impagabile - L a posizione, davvero notevole come vista sul mare e panorama , insieme con il silenzio e il fresco assicurati dalla posizione su una altura sono il suo punto di forza. Si può godere di una enorme piscina che a differenza di altre (la piscina è molto comune in quel luogo così caldo) è in un luogo naturale, fra alberi e in collina, non nella strada principale, che pure è raggiungibile in un minuto, Parcheggio in sede e gratuito. Staff efficiente e molto gentile. Il monolocale è davvero essenziale, spartano, non certo da viverci. Due elementi meno gradevoli: l'aria condizionata, indispensabile, venduta a 10 euro al giorno e le pulizie, appena un paio di volte in una decina di giorni.
