• Noreen (10/5): - Beautiful apartment with stunning views in an excellent location. Really enjoyed our stay there, spotless, comfortable and quiet. Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms, with everything we needed. Our host, Lucinda, was so helpful and accommodating, and gave clear instructions for checking in. Definitely one of the best apartments we've stayed in, would love to return sometime again!....... Everything was just perfect 👌
• Petra (8/5): Apartment mit schönem Ausblick in ruhiger Lage. - Die Aussicht vom Balkon des Apartments ist sehr schön, die Gegend ist ruhig, man hat allerdings das Gefühl, am Ende der Stadt im Nirgendwo angekommen zu sein. Die beiden Badezimmer, das Wohnzimmer und die Küche sind geräumig und angenehm eingerichtet. Der Parkplatz auf dem Hof ist super und eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt um die Ecke! Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos, allerdings konnten wir nicht wie versprochen um 14.00 Uhr ins Apartment, angeblich gab es Schwierigkeiten (ich vermute, es war noch nicht fertig geputzt). Obwohl der Schlüssel problemlos aus einem Schlüsselkästchen hätte abgeholt werden können, haben wir den Code sehr viel später bekommen und erst einmal ziemlich lange vor der Tür gestanden und gewartet. Die Ausstattung ist insgesamt ok, es fehlten leider - wie auf der Website angekündigt - Kaffee, Tee und Milch und obwohl ich das reklamiert habe, wurde nichts gebracht, sondern nur ein Hinweis auf den nächsten Supermarkt gegeben. Für die Badezimmer wären Toilettenbürsten ganz praktisch, die Toilettenbrille im vorderen Bads war lose und rutschte ständig weg (kein Vergnügen ...), etwas mehr Papier wäre auch ganz prima gewesen. Das WLan hatte eine andere Bezeichnung als angegeben, das konnten wir dann aber klären.
• Franziska (10/5): Tolles Appartement in toller Lage - Sehr schönes und sehr geräumiges Apartment. Alles schön gepflegt und sauber. Die Lage etwas außerhalb vom Trubel ist vor allem mit dem Auto super erreichbar und ein Parkplatz im Innenhof steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Das Stadtzentrum ist in 15 Minuten mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Es gab aber auch sehr gute Restaurants die fußläufig erreichbar sind. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

• Doris (10/5): Fantastisch! - Alles super! Die Lage war fantastisch, mit Blick auf den kleinen Hafen und den Firth of Fourth. Sehr gute Busanbindung nach Edinburgh in der Nähe, Gastgeber gut online zu erreichen, reagierte sofort und lieferte alle wichtigen Informationen und Empfehlungen für nahe Restaurants und Shops etc. Sehr sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Apartment. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen!! And we'd love to come back sometime! -----
• Lindsay (5/5): Too pricey and so awkward to get into the apartment with all the different padlocks, keys & gates. - It had a lovely view and was close to the buses to catch into the Town. It would have been a very nice touch if we had a tray of some sort with a varied Coffees, teas, sugar & milk to have after a long journey. Not everyone comes to visit from Australia with a hand luggage full of food & refreshments. We found this to be very poor considering the price to stay wasn’t cheap in comparison.
• Lesley (8/5): Spacious apartment with lovely sea views - Spacious and clean beautiful views a little off the beaten track for events in Edinburgh but an uber was about £10 each way two couples having two bathrooms was great The mattresses were hard ….. the bath towels were too small ( a very small bath size)

With a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport and hours walk to Edinburgh Castle, it was ideally placed. Lucinda was very helpful and excellent with communication and attention to detail. • Martina (10/5): Ein wunderschöner Abschluss unseres Aufenthaltes in Schottland in einem Apartement zum Wohlfühlen. - Hochwertige Einrichtung, sehr gute Beschreibung des Check-In, viel Platz mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten, sehr sauber und insgesamt sehr gepflegt. Schöne Aussicht. Gute Lage mit hervorragender Anbindung an die Innenstadt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Gute Einkehr- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in naher Umgebung. Sicherer Stellplatz für das Auto in der Wohnanlage.

• Nikki (8/5): We experienced a couple of minor difficulties, but the apartment, view and location were great! - The property was really nicely set out and had some stunning views! There was a lot of information and facilities available (although we had a couple of issues with some of them) and the location was great with free parking and access to reliable public transport nearby. We found the process of collecting keys a little difficult driving to the property - there's not really anywhere to park the car whilst you arrange picking up the keys needed to access the secure car park (we mounted the kerb and put our hazards on so as not to block the car park entrance/exit). The property information accessed via QR code (really handy) said that tea and coffee would be provided but we couldn't find any in the apartment. We messaged the host via booking.com to ask if they were stored somewhere and we'd missed it but didn't receive a response. We were also unable to get the dishwasher to work, which meant we had to unexpectedly wash up all the crockery, cutlery and glassware used on our 3-night stay just before leaving.

We had a great 2 nigh - The property was amazing, easy to access had everything you need. Great view of the quays and out. Very comfortable, everything you needed. Despite this being an amazing property with no complaints over the actual apartment itself. The reason we booked was it stated 2km from Edinburgh but it was actually just over 5km. And not a complaint but maybe just to think about the shower in main bathroom could do with a slip matt as nearly fell twice.

• Paula (10/5): Perfect!!! - I cannot give this apartment 5 stars , I have to give it 10 stars!!! Just 15 to 20 minutes outside of Edinburgh. This place is absolutely magnificent. The views are incredible. The apartment is spacious and has anything you could want for. The public transportation just outside across the street on the corner to get into town. Book early as the demand for this apartment is high. Enjoy your travels and enjoy Edinburgh.

The views were beautiful from the bedroom and front room. So lovely to enjoy tea in bed watching the sunrise over the water. The city was easily accessible by bus or taxi . There was only one thing I didn't like and that's my own personal preference for a good night's sleep . We found the mattress a bit to hard for us.

A very minor point but it would have been great to have a few more utensils in the kitchen for cooking eg wooden spoon/spatula and sieve/colander.

It's so peaceful and we loved being by the sea. Exceptionally clean, has everything you need. Communication with the owners was great. Bus stop just outside the property took us direct into the city centre. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommended. Everything was perfect.

Everything about it was great, perfect location to escape the crowds in Edinburgh but easy enough to catch the bus more or less right outside. Lovely warm and comfortable, the beds where super comfy. Views out of the windows where great, and a lot of nice finishing touches even including a Christmas tree and fairy lights on the balcony. Thankyou so much for a lovely stay We where a bit confused by the instructions on where to find the key but a lady helped us with that after she saw us looking confused. The ring doorbell on the front door felt a bit like we was being watched.

Lucinda was so informative and gave the best instructions for check in, recommendations for local restaurants and simple instructions for using the bus and the number (25 minutes into the city centre on Victoria Street). The apartment itself is stunning, the views onto the water were magical, and we barely had the TV on as it was so peaceful. They've thought of everything at this apartment, I genuinely would recommend here to anyone, I'm already looking at booking here again! N/A

It makes you curious about the industrial past of the area which is rich and interesting. The practicalities of the apartment are great - very well equipped, comfortable beds and sofas with good bathrooms. Thr parking is secure and very convenient. Trips to the city are easy by both busses (Google is your friend…) and taxi

The location, the view from the apartment is amazing. It was a bit far from the center, but worth it. It was such a cozy and beautiful apartment. We had a great time there. I wanted to stay more! Not gonna lie I want to live in a place like this. The host was also very kind and friendly. If I go to Edinburgh again, I would like to come back and stay here again. 🥰 Perhaps the only thing we didn't like was that there was no restaurant near in the area. But at least you can order food.

• April (10/5): Super apartment top quality - The apartment was superb well equipped, quality furnishings, very comfortable, great views, private secure parking space right at the door to enter the building. Quiet no noise. Hosts were great. Would very much recommend. Transport into Edinburgh centre bus stop at apartment tram slightly further a long. Used bus service No 16 to get to Playhouse approx 25mins and No 9 to city centre travel time depends on time of day. Takeaways not far and with buses at hand if you wish to go to resteraunts. Ocean Terminal close where you .can shop, eat, cinema and visit Royal Yacht amongst other things. Plenty other places to visit too many to mention. Nothing all good

The furniture, furnishings and equipment were all of a very high standard but cosy and sooo comfortable. The views were stunning and transport links into the city centre were simple and straightforward. We were able to order a meal through Deliveroo without any hiccups. Parking was safe and secure. The owners have thought of everything and it was nice to be welcomed in person. Having to leave.

• Alan (9/5): Lovely stay in a private secure area - A very well appointed, clean, large apartment with a great view and peaceful location. Reserved parking place in a secure gated access location. We also used the local busses in to the city centre which are regularly served from a bus stop across the road. Host extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Not a lot. I honestly cannot fault it. Will definitely stay there again.

Owners communicative and helpful at all stages of the booking. Although removed from the centre of Edinburgh, the local area is lovely and you can get into town using the frequent buses or by walking through some lovely cycle paths (about 40 mins). Very easy transfer from the airport using the 200 bus We liked everything, but if you really want to be near the Tartan shops and Princes Street...

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and offered amazing views out on the water. We also liked the secure parking (behind a fence).

Well located close to Leith, car parking under the apartment block with ease of access to apartment. Public transport by bus within a few minutes walk. Tram stops at Ocean terminal a 20-30 min gentle stroll away.
