• Geneva (8/5): Very good - I like it because it's near everything. The room is clean, the showers' amazing too. It wasn't that noisy for me as a nomad even though it's in the center. The lady gave me cute gift too.
• Reeneta (5/5): Passable - The owner is very friendly, she even sent me some fruits and tea. the location is absolutely perfect It is right beside the cathedral and everything is in walking distance. The entrance can be missed. The rooms are very very small. There is no space to move or keep your things or even sit peacefully. It's only good for coming back to sleep. The photos can be slightly deceiving when it comes to sizing.

• Vrinda (9/5): Best location! - Best is the location! It's a neat and clean room with a balcony! Very comfortable! Highly recommend! The room was on the 2nd floor... Had a bit of a problem getting the luggage down as I checked out in the middle of the night! I'm sure they would have helped during the day! All in all a good experience!

• Angela (9/5): Superb - Great homestay! I felt very good here. The room was big, near from restaurants, shops and the lake. Very quiet place. I recieved every day 2 bottles of water, some toilet paper and new towel. The staff was great. I would certainly come back!

• Lucy (5/5): Passable - Very weird spot. We didn’t end up sleeping overnight as we had a bus to catch but was great for a few hours. The bathroom was gross though!
• Kevin (9/5): A good central location. - We had 2 different rooms during our stay, first we had a room with a window, this was a little dark because there was a brick wall next to the window. We did not like this room very much. We then moved to a room with a balcony, this room was great and I would advise anyone to pay a little extra for the room with the balcony. The accommodation is in a good central location and is in a reasonably quiet side street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay again. The first room with a window.
• Vincent (9/5): Great Homestay, convenient location. Safe. Will come back. - Firstly, the owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Very friendly and concerned about our well-being and safety. Couldn't find any other owner of a homestay so kind ✨️ The homestay is conveniently located in the Old Quarter, next to St Joseph's Cathedral, and a few minutes walk to.Hoàn Kiếm Lake. Surrounding this homestay are plenty of eateries, including a Michelin star food outlet. Lots of Banh Mi, Pho, Bun Cha eateries around here. Famous Vietnamese coffee is everywhere! Have your black coffee by the roadside or the walkways, like the locals! Short walk to the famous Hanoi weekend night market, and also fresh food markets around Hang Da. Long Bien is within walking distance, where lots of fresh vegetables and fruits are available. Couldn't describe more, the homestay is super good 👍 Can experience whole Old Quarter from the homestay's location. Nothing I didn't like about the homestay. 👍👍👍

• Morah (8/5): Was okay. - The Location is a winner and the bed was fantastic. The lock for the bathroom door was very tough to close, so other users wouldn't lock it properly which ment it was open to the public.

• Klassen (9/5): Great value and great host! - The host was incredibly responsive and gave lots of great local recommendations for us! She also allowed us to check in early after a very long bus ride. The cleaners also came around every day and made sure the room was nice and tidy! Also great location down a quieter road but still close to lots of shops and restaurants. Unfortunately there was some construction on the roof that started very early in the morning. It was finished on the last day of our stay, but it was tough to wake up to the sound of cutting metal. The mini fridge also had a bit of a bad smell to it

• Moriah (10/5): Wow 😍 - Very worth the money!!! A huge apartment right in the center of Hanoi. Everything is near the apartment. The owner is amazing, he will always help you with everything you need. The apartment has everything: a kitchen, air conditioners, private bathrooms and a living room, a huge TV with Netflix, sofas, a balcony. Highly recommend ! Many thanks to the host, it was an amazing stay! 🇮🇱❤🤟 ❌️✖️
• Gwen (7/5): Good location - Nice spot for a night in Hanoi, good location. Bed was comfy and AC working, hot water. Rooms are a bit tiny and absolutely no sunlight inside. Not exactly as charming as pictures. Also be sure to message them or they will cancel your stay, and there is no reception the place is a bit hard to find after a long travel, but ask local shops.
• Jeremy (9/5): Superb - Nice spacious room with large bathroom and good natural light. The owner left a little welcome bag which was very nice and put a smile on our face. The bathroom ventilation isn't fantastic, however this is common within Vietnam and especially Hanoi. Very manageable with the fan in the room to circulate air. Can't fault anything else :)

• Brandi (6/5): Okay facilities with a great location - The location was very nice and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a desk with a seat. Our room was clean and the staff was very nice, bringing us fruit and water every day. The place was quite grungy. I imagine the room with the private bathroom is better, but the one on the ground level has scooters riding past your room which serves as a small alley to parking for the house. You have to walk through here to get to the bathroom and it was usually wet and dirty. Relative to the other places we've stayed in Vietnam, it wasn't a great facility for the price. Maybe this was just because the prices are higher in this central location.

• Tahmin (8/5): Good choice for budget stay! - The room was clean and comfortable. We reached early in Hanoi. The host allowed us to put our bag and managed early check in for us. That was really nice. The hotel was very near to church. We enjoyed waling in old quarter from there. It would be better if there is a attached washroom.
• Imogen (8/5): Very good - The host Ha was very nice and helpful. The location is great literally anything you could need is between 1-5 mins walking distance. Towels were changed every day with water too and we were even left some little treats on our first day It was very noisy at times but this can't be helped with how central it is. The bed wasn't the best comfort but it was good for the value. It was also quite difficult to find at first as it's down an alley and there was no sign but this was easily resolved by asking someone.

The price accommodation price is really cheap for what I got from the room, service quality in general. I will definitely stay here again.

• Silvia (2/5): A rat in the room. - The location is good, it has air conditioning and the bed is comfortable A rat got into the room, stayed all the night running all around and the staff did nothing. The room on the ground floor has a wall that is a glass that closes badly and covered with a curtain, so any animal of the street can enter. It is not safe, there is a lot of noise from the street, every time someone passes in the corridor the automatic light turns on and wakes you up, the bathroom is outside the room and you have to pass a patio where motorbikes can park, and it is nasty. In addition, the manager was traveling and she sent us to pick up the keys to another hotel whit a very nice guy but that did not know anything and is dificult to communicate.

Most of all Ha went out of her way to help us out with check-in, storing luggage and contact with the airline about lost luggage. The bathroom drain was a bit slow so adding a squegee might be a simple solution (bathroom and shower one floor)

• Jordan (5/5): Good location, not super clean. - Great location with lots of restaurants and shops beside us and on the same street. Good value for money, we stayed one night and then checked in somewhere else. Comes with free water, toothbrush, toiletries and a hairdryer to use which is impressive. The photo attached is the entrance for anyone else lost! Unfortunately the address is not the same as Google Maps and to check in you have to go to a sister-hotel around the corner. None of this is given in the check in process. We were lucky that another couple were also trying to check in and a local told us where we can check in. We were on ground floor beside the busy street, no security only a glass sliding door. Bathroom in an alleyway that anyone could have access to.

• Donald (10/5): MAGNIFICENT - This homestay was a treat, if not better than my own home. I was greeted exceptionally well by Ha, the owner, even though I arrived late, she made it a priority to greet me. The property is well located in the old quarter, by all amenities. The room is extremely quiet and allowed me to relax in comfort. The amenities were excellent and communication with Ha was superb. She even went out of her way to send me two presents throughout my stay and asked me consistently if there was anything that I needed. The room was cleaned and spotless and the bed is super comfy, I got a perfect nights sleep. Thanks Ha for making my stay in Hanoi a perfect one. I don't like that everything was perfect and I didn't get to complain about anything.
• Priya (4/5): Disappointing - The bed was comfortable and interior decor was nice. Great location. There were cockroaches (one crawled on the bed at night) - probably because our room was on the first floor, may not apply to other rooms. Our room (economy double) also didn't have any windows.

• Hanna (10/5): Cosy, great location! - Great location, very central and loads of shops around. Easy self check-in (there is no reception), room was nice and quite spacious, bed was comfortable. Easy communication with host - very responsive, Wi-Fi wasn’t working on the first night but was fixed first thing the next morning after I informed them. Host accommodated all my requests. Sometimes you would hear noise but nothing we couldn’t sleep through. Wouldn’t mind staying here again! Although the host was kind to have accommodated my request to be on the first floor (due to not wanting to carry my heavy luggage up so many flights of stairs), our window was completely blocked by buildings and we had no natural sunlight so it always looked like it was night time in the room.
