• Catherine (8/5): - Very friendly & helpful host. Property in good location. Roomy & clean. Second floor so not for those who struggle with stairs. All great ! A small toaster & a veg steamer would have been useful.

• Margaret (10/5): Gorgeous apartment in great location!! - The location is in a quiet quant street with a canal right near the front door. It is close to so many really good cafes and restaurants and close to all the main attractions. Easy walk from Ca D’Oro vaparetta, overall a great location. The property itself is beautifully appointed and comfortable and the owner / host Mirella is so wonderful , made our stay so very special. Meeting us at the vaparetta , giving us restaurant recommendations and also touching base daily with ideas for the day. Thank you Mirella for everything g !! Nothing- loved it all
• Janine (10/5): Wonderful - We could not fault the apartment. It had everything you would need. It’s very quiet, despite been close to all the attractions. The host Mirella is so kind she gave us lots of tips and was always available with any questions we had. One night we couldn’t get into the apartment and we realised it was because we were turning the door knob at the same time and trying to enter. You don’t need to do this. Simply put the key in and turn and voila ! There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance. We particularly liked Taverna Barababao. The guy that ran the place was so nice. Fantastic food and warm service. We are there 3 nights out of 5. No issues to speak of

• Dora (10/5): A fabulous stay!! - A beautifully decorated apartment. Very clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed. Close to a grocery store and fresh fruit and vegetables stand and located in a very safe and quiet area. Mirella is truly the perfect hostess!! Friendly, very helpful and answers your questions at any time. She met us at the Fondamente Nove water bus station and helped carrying my friend’s luggage all the way to her apartment🩷 Every day she sent us tips of which places to visit. Thanks much, Mirella, for making our stay so memorable! We highly recommend her apartment! Nothing

• Sonia (10/5): One of the most beautiful places I've stayed! Quiet and comfortable. - This apartment is so beautiful and Mirella is a very responsive and caring hostess. My daughter and I spent a week in Venice and we can't wait to go back and stay at Mirella's. It was perfect for us! Her apartment is very centrally located between the Rialto and Fondamente Nove water bus stops (6-8 minute walk to either stop) so it was very easy to get around Venice and explore all the other Islands from here. From the Rialto (or Ca Doro) stop you can go down the grand canal and over to Giudecca and Lido. From Fondamente Nove you can get to Murano, Burano, and Torcello. It was so easy to explore the city from here. Mirella had some great suggestions for lesser known local restaurants and museums and events happening in the city, which was helpful since we stayed for a whole week. The apartment itself is clean and had everything we needed. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, and yes Mirella is the artist behind the murals and mosaic shower. I was so impressed. It was my mom's 65th birthday and she came to visit for a day and she said she felt like royalty sleeping in the big bedroom. Mirella will arrange to meet you when you arrive and lead you to the apartment but after that I recommend using google maps to get around, since getting to and from the apartment can take a bit of time to memorize. It is in a quiet area and like most places in Venice you have to navigate through the small streets and over bridges to get there. My daughter loved leading the way through the calle... it was like being in a maze! There is a grocery store only a couple minutes away, a bakery, butcher shop and plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a fresh fruit and vegetable stand you will pass by in the summer. Eating out in Venice can get expensive so having a kitchen to cook in was great. Overall we were very happy we booked this suite! If you are trying to decide on where to stay do not hesitate in booking this apartment you will not regret it! This was not a problem for us, but you should note that the apartment is on the second floor and like pretty much all buildings in Venice does not have an elevator, so if you or anyone in your group have mobility issues that would prevent you from doing stairs then this would not be a suitable rental for you. Also, both the front door and the door to the apartment lock automatically behind you, so make sure you don't accidentally leave without your keys!

Lovely hostess and very nice apartment at a very convenient location. - All through the stay the hostess was very active, friendly, kind, helpful and very quick to respond when I had questions. This small apartment is comfortable, very clean and located in a safe area. Location was quiet and very convenient to all the attractions either via walking or using a nearby vaporetto stop. It is also near a grocery store and several small restaurants. It is located in a quieter area of Venice but very close to the more crowded areas. It is well stocked with towels, soap, and kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable and there was an air conditioner in each of the 2 bedrooms. The apartment included 2 umbrellas which become useful since it rained on us. The stay at this location enhanced our wonderful experience in Venice. There was very little we didn't like. Although there were air conditioners in each bedroom, it would have been nice to have a fan in the living room/kitchenette since there is no air-conditioning in that room and the room was stuffy. There are windows you can open but there was not much airflow (we were there at the end of June). We did have the windows open but that invited the mosquitoes into the apartment. We were provided with small citronella tea-candles but they didn't deter the mosquitoes.
• Janice (10/5): A great experience, close to most facilities and attractions. - The location and apartment were great. Our host, Mirella was fantastic. Nothing was any trouble. Quiet area. Close to great restaurants, grocery store and fruit market. A short walk to the vaporetto and the main area of Cannaregio. I would definitely recommend staying at Romantica suite veneziana.
