Guest Reviews
- Andrew (7/5): Good - Location to the venue we were attending Street noise, double glazed windows would help there.
The hot water system was a little hit or miss
- Jen (4/5): No hot water & noisy, but if that dosent bother you, stay & step out on high st. - great location. No hot water, Melbs is cold, they should sort that out. Noise comes through glass front, didnt sleep well over 2 nights with traffic, trams etc. Buts its an open space, old shop, so you can expect that. It would have been louder on the click clack couch though, which is nearer the windows. They could put another blind on the the internal back glass door, for more privacy incase other residences use the outdoor couch bit/hang washing. (internally its 1 open space, excluded shower /toilet with a part blind in the middle of the room for some privacy to the bed.
- Kerryanne (7/5): Good -
- Peter (6/5): Take ear plugs to block noise, I don’t know what the issue was with the hot water but it needs to be sorted. - Very clean & tidy Very very noisey. I had issues with lack of hot water
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Location excellent
Bed heaps comfortable main bed Disappointed in second bed...very uncomfortable
Needs a proper sofa bed lounge not click clack lounge as second bed option and maybe warmer bedding for second bed option
- Karen (10/5): Short and sweet stay - Clean and tidy. Great bed No side lamp by bed
- Robyn (8/5): Very good -
- Marianne (3/5): Couldn't stay here. - The street noise and passing pedestrians are very noisy. This studio accommodation may have previously been a shop as the door opens directly onto the footpath, so consequently the close proximity to busy High Street is very loud. We booked this studio for four nights, but only stayed one night. The Studio does not have air conditioning and Melbourne was having four consecutive days of heat wave.
- Lisa (4/5): We still had fun anyway - The open plan space is great and the location is awesome as it's close to a lot of shops and bars. Having a later check out was great though. The studio could be amazing if it had some work done on it and nicer furnishings. The beds. It states it's a 2 bedroom apartment but it's not it has a blind. The click clack bed isn't all that big we had to go a buy blow up camp mattresses so that we were at least comfortable. Once the click clack bed is folded down there is then only one sofa to sit on besides the chairs at the table. Also the blinds at the front aren't all that blockout you can see inside the apartment from the street with the blinds that are on the door. You can't open the blinds at all during the day because then people can also see in. There is no air conditioning and it got really hot on the first night. Also you can't get changed once you've had a shower as the floor gets wet and so you can only get changed outside of the shower. I think this could be an awesome space if thought out properly and some money and love was put into the property. We still had a good time regardless just wanted to point out a few things that could be looked at.
