- John (10/5): Apartment Lakeside Drilon, Tushemisht - I booked a 3 night stay here at the end of August. The apartment exceeded expectations thanks to the kindness of the host Elton and his family. As well as a comfortable bedroom you have a fully furnished open plan kitchen, dining room, living room and a private bathroom. The balcony provides views of the lake and the Springs of Drilon, which is a short walk along the shore. Walking in the opposite direction you will quickly reach the beautiful Tushemisht Village, either way you will find plenty of restaurants if you don't want to cook your own meals. This is a great place to stay on your journey across Albania. I hope to return again next time I visit this wonderful country.
- Sabinak (10/5): The hosts, Elton and his amazing mom Ms. Bukuroshe, were fantastic! - The hosts, Elton and his amazing mom Ms. Bukuroshe, were fantastic. We were in communication with Elton whenever we needed something, and he was very responsive to our messages. Although Ms. Bukuroshe didn't speak English well, we used a translation app to communicate, and she was always positive, happy, and willing to help us. The apartment is brand new and located on the main street in Tushemisht, near Pogradec, right by the main beach. It is situated on the 5th floor of a new apartment building. The apartment features a spacious living room, a large kitchen with a fridge, and all the necessary kitchen supplies, including coffee, sugar, and tea. The bathroom is beautiful and spacious, and the bedroom has a very comfortable mattress, ensuring a great night's sleep. The terrace offers a side lake view, making it perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the deep shade or watching stunning sunsets in the evening. The apartment looks exactly the same as on the pictures on Booking. The apartment is also pet-friendly, and our dog Luna had a fantastic time. It is conveniently close to restaurants and markets and, as mentioned earlier, right across from the beach. The only thing missing is an A/C. We initially thought we might need one and asked Elton for a fan, which he provided the next day. However, the nights were very pleasant, with a cool breeze making it comfortable to sleep. I strongly recommend this apartment. Lots of mosquitoes
