vanessa (6/5): If you don’t want to spend time in your cottage it’s lovely. - We loved the pool and the games room. And despite being just off the road it is quiet and bucolic. Lovely bougie village nearby as well as beautiful country. . The actual cottage was cheap and ill- equipped and needs an update. I was expecting much more for the price . We cooked our Easter lunch inside but there wasn’t basic cooking implements. The bed clothes and pillows were tacky.
Christine (8/5): A lovely place for large family gathering. - Stunning location, with plenty of room for a large family group. Very peaceful. Great swimming pool and games room. Friendly hosts. There were a couple of issues re faulty ball valve & toilet seat but to be fair, we don’t know if they were aware of these beforehand - we left a note. The main areas were clean but the ‘edges’ could have done with a vacuum.

Kent (1/5): Would not recommend or stay again - Quiet location, clean and tidy Booked 2 bed house with view but got 2 bed flat above garage. I would not have booked flat above garage as on crutches and external stairs are very hard to do. Flat had no views out of windows, just a bush or the rubbish bins and lean to filled with junk. Funny musty smell in flat. Very cramped and small with very low ceilings. If you wanted to sit at the table you had to move it in to the lounge area and move the arm chair and table had a wobble. Floor not carpeted which meant everything moved when you leant on it, table, armchair and settee. Wifi kept cutting out hourly had to constantly reset it in garage ourselves often at night. TV not smart tv had to get Amazon fire stick. Games room extremely cold, heaters not working. Hot tub half empty and not working. All paths are loose stone not good for anyone with mobility issues. Very dangerous entrance and exit to parking on blind bend.

Helen (8/5): Great location, cute cottages and good facilities. - Lovely location. Great to have a pool, jacuzzi and games room. Difficult to find the reception as not labelled. The edge of the pool tiles need cleaning.
Davidson (10/5): Perfect stay over - It was such a beautiful location, quiet, family orientated, wonderful views and the family were very friendly and kind. We didn't get to use the swimming pool but will definitely be going back in the next few months. To be honest, there was nothing we didn't like. If the owners could have arranged for the weather to be nicer, but even the wet weather didn't stop the enjoyment of staying there.

Janice (5/5): Not good if you have any mobility problems 😕 - Location. Before I booked I asked for a shower because I have mobility problems only to find a step of around 10in to get in. I couldn't get in .
Leah (9/5): Very nice ... would stay again but without dog. - Clean, well equipped little studio apartment on ground floor. Private little patio area. Nice and quiet. Dog rules ... can't leave alone in property which meant we could not go swimming in pool with partner due to leaving dog alone. I had to take dog to my moms nearby just so we could use the pool. As such we only used it once. I thought we were renting a cottage so wasn't aware of this dog rule but I should have read all the details via website prior to booking. It was a studio inside a cottage so I guess they were concerned about possible dog barking etc.
Frances (7/5): A peaceful stay and good opportunity to walk on Exmoor. - Lovely location, it is so close to some wonderful walking countryside. It is a shame that we (myself and the dog) had to walk on the road to get to the nearest footpath.
David (7/5): Family birthday weekend - The house had plenty of room for the entire party with space to have time alone. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and games facilities. It was an easy journey to Minehead for shopping and Dunster Castle for sightseeing. The sloping roofs in the upstairs bedrooms caused issues for the adults and adolesents in the family as did the little step. The step immediately outside the front door caused one of the adults to fall. It was a bit confusing having bits in each kitchen.
Debbie (7/5): beautiful scenery - The location was beautiful and our bed was very comfortable but for the price just for 1 night we expected a nice welcome pack rather then just a few teabags and there was no toiletries and only 1 toilet roll ..its a very steep price for just one night and you would expect to leave a bit later rather then 10 ..it was a bit tired looking and could do with a freshen up as above

Preston (9/5): Country stay with pool - The surroundings were lovely with birds squirrels and little (Exmoor?) ponies. The pool was fantastic. I liked it that (non smoking) policy was given before booking rather than afterwards like most places do.
Williams (1/5): Disaster from start to finish - The cobwebs, dust, dirty floors, windows, window sills. Knowing we were bringing our 11mth old pup put us in a cottage with laminate flooring above 2 elderly women. A sure recipe for disaster as everything could be heard
Paul (8/5): It is a nice location. I enjoyed my stay. - The kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was decent and the bed was comfortable. It was close enough to Minehead to not be much of a chore (15 minutes by car). The surroundings are lovely. We were in a two bedroom loft room. The ceiling around the kitchen sink was quite low, and the floorboards were very noisy, so using the bathroom quietly was impossible. I was woken by car noise a few times, but that was people speeding, so not really their fault. Getting out of the gated entrance by car is a little sketchy.

Loads of things to do as your not far from minehead or porlock, the swimming pool and hotub was excellent recommended !!
Lorraine (8/5): Location outstanding. Beautiful peaceful site to stay at. Hosts friendly and helpful. Good holiday. - Lovely cottage, very quaint with original beamed ceiling. Very good facilities for two people, and a peaceful location close to The medieval village of Dunster, with its castle and pretty cottages. The cottage furnishings were a little dated, but fitted in with the nature of the cottage. The mattress on the bed was a little too soft for us, but apart from that we had a comfortable stay, and hope to return in the future. Our hosts gave us the key on arrival, and showed us around the facilities in the cottage and on site, then left us to experience and enjoy our holiday, perfect for us. It was great playing snooker/pool in the games room, and there was an indoor swimming pool and hot tub also, (although the hot tub was not working for the first few days, when we arrived.). We also enjoyed seeing the two Shetland ponies in the field on site. The site has good facilities for families with children, there’s an area to play football, a trampoline and a children’s play area with swings and climbing frames. Not to mention the pool. The twin bed mattresses could have been firmer, our first night was uncomfortable until we got used to them. The smoke alarm went off every time you used the cooker/oven, so we had to shut the bedroom door to stop it.
