Guest Reviews
- David (9/5): Cosy relaxing stay in great part of the country. - Very cosy cottage in a lovely setting. Its in an enclosed garden where Julie the host lives so the key was in the door.
As it was a little chilly in the evening Julie supplied logs and kindling for the log burner which was great.
You had to drive to the local village, pub, canal and shops.
Wifi at times drifted but was aways available in the kitchen

- Abigail (10/5): - Lovely log fire. Everything you would need. Sweet and cosy cottage. Big bed in a large bedroom. Beautiful location. Only downside was having a combi boiler at home, I underestimated how much hot water I would have for a hot bath and washing up.
- DAVID (10/5): Fantastic stay and made to feel very welcome. Would definitely book again. - Lovely property, great cottage for the family, including the dog! Lots of space and made the most of the game in the living room. Very cosy, log burner for those cold nights in. Quiet and secure property.

The situation is perfect for touring the Cotswolds (45'), Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, etc.
Loved the little log burner, perfect for windy, rainy, long evenings after visiting places or family.
Julie is a welcoming and super attentive host, but gives all the space and privacy one may want.
The house is fully equipped, and if you need something, Julie will most likely help.
The beds is firm but not hard, and there is a selection of pillows to suit every taste. Can't think of anything we didn't like :)
- Angela (8/5): Nice property, lots of space , but freezing - the area was lovely and the host Julie was great.
the bed was nice. we had everything you could want
parking was brilliant the house was freezing when we returned form a night out . i had to sleep in a jumper :(
the house furniture was slightly dated
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Lovely overnight stay on our way home from holidaying in Kent, pity we weren't staying longer! - Wonderful cottage, larger than it appeared on the photos. Had everything you'd need for a self-catering holiday. Within walking distance of Cropredy Village which has a couple of nice pubs, a lovely little cafe and access to the canal for great walks. Nothing
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Mold around the bath, shower pipe full of Mold, not good.
- Ruth (9/5): Superb -
- Marjory (8/5): Very good - Cosy cottage, great location and lovely area. Perhaps a lamp in the lounge only if using sofa bed as we were it is a bit harsh just having overhead lighting.

A lovely touch of flowers on the kitchen table.
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely evening - Lovely comfy and cosy, nice selection of board games to entertain us as we wanted a quiet evening in. Julie was a great host, very helpful, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. No negative points, was a perfect stop off on our journey from North to South.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (7/5): Peaceful and quiet place to stay. -
- Teresaf (10/5): Comfortable home away from home - Great cottage in a quiet location. Parking next to the cottage. The cottage has everything you need and is clean and homely. The rooms are spacious - more than you would expect as it looks smaller from the outside. The bed is comfortable and it is lovely having large bath in a spacious bathroom. We didn’t cook but the kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer if you plan a longer stay. We popped over to the George and Dragon for a meal which is a 4 minute drive. Really a lovely place and a wonderful stay. Nothing
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - Our engineers, loved every aspect of the property, they couldn't speak highly enough of the the way they were welcomed and any correspondence received was very good.
10/10
- Sarah (9/5): A full cottage for the price of a hotel room! - Easy to find, good communication with host, and easy to check in. I'd wanted somewhere local so was good not far out of Banbury. Parking available alongside the cottage within the driveway of owners property. Lovely small cottage to myself. Pictures as shown, but as others have said, (I've seen it on another site too) it feels bigger inside than looks. Fresh flowers in all rooms. Full kitchen facilities, and small table in there. Good heating system. Cosy lounge soft sofas. TV looked good but I didn't use it. Roomy landing with desk and futon, and big bedroom. Nice to have chance to walk in their orchard/woodland and visit the donkey's and hens. Julie very friendly and helpful on arrival and my departure. Not a dislike as such, but the lounge smelled smoky from the woodburner from the outset and it wasn't lit and I didn't light it at all. Opened the window more on one day which cleared it a bit, but as soon as shut it it felt smoky again. To be fair I didn't mention any of this to the owners. The cottage is a literal stone's throw from the owners cottage, so some light nets at the lounge window would have been nice as felt a bit on show unless the curtains were closed. The bed mattress was a bit thin and the bed soft, but I still slept well each night. The outside table and chairs I didn't use as at the front of the cottage, but maybe a little area down the side of the cottage could be made into a seating area, there looked like there was room, even with my car parked there. Despite these few minor things it was the ideal sized place for me and had it not been so close to the main house, I would happily live somewhere like that!
- Dean (10/5): warm welcome, great accommodation, really enjoyable stay - beautiful cottage
- Jane (10/5): Good all round cottage, suited our needs, had everything you need with a very helpful host -
