Guest Reviews
- Hill (4/5): Would not reccomend; book a hotel instead - The location was nice, though if you plan on staying in Exarchia you should stay in a hotel rather than supporting airbnb owners. Overall felt junky and like we fell into a tourist trap. Not worth the money. The apartment wasn't clean when we arrived, the toilet seat was dirty, there were dead bugs laying around the bathroom sink, and the bedcovers on some beds were stained. There was no communication about which apartment it was we rented, so we had to wander the building to figure it out. Host didn't communicate clearly prior to arrival. The espresso machine didn't work and the shower was nearly impossible to use without soaking the entire bathroom.
- Zuki (10/5): Excellent - Excellent it's a lovely place to stay
It's a wonderful apartment with many
Facilities nearby the centre of Athens
- Rachel (3/5): Poor - The apartment was clean and there were some supplies kindly left for breakfasts. - location was in a loud student area so sleep was awful.
- had to use a control panel for hot water.
- WiFi was awful.
- coffee machine did not work.
- advertised as self catering but the "kitchen" was a mi rowave, two hob microwave oven carefully balanced on a low cupboard eith no safe areas to prepare, chop, move or transfer hot things bearing in mind tqo kids were with us. I have a chronic pain disability anyway and this isn't help.
- main bed was uncomfortable and squalesd with every move, husband ended up sleeping in the lounge all week.
- shower was 3 ft high and adapted from the old bidet extension and had some kind of shower curtain hooked up to goodness knows what in an attempt to create some type of privacy
- could not have more than one person in the hallway (kitchen) at a time due to width.
- is not 7 foot from a metro, bus yes
All in all not impressed
- Alessandro (8/5): Very good - Good breakfast, easily integrated thanks to the equipment available. Large spaces. Ample supply of mineral water and ice The bathroom tap is partially clogged with limescale and requires maintenance. The entrance from the street is unmarked and difficult to identify
- Matías (9/5): Spacious and comfortable accommodation in central Athens. - The flat was very clean and had all you may need to have a great stay. The host is flexible and quickly reachable. Great location and easy to get in and out of the flat. We had a bottle of wine and some sweets welcoming us. It was a nice welcomed
Definitely recommend to stay in this accommodation. The shower is a bit small if you are too tall but still doable. The breakfast offer could be a bit wider, for example adding some eggs, couple pieces of fruits and some veggies. There is enough coffee, toasts, cereal, juice, cream, jam and margarine to have breakfast.
- Brigitta (3/5): If we had known that there wasn't a functioning airconditioner we wouldn't have rented the apartment - The air conditioner was broken in the apartment, which was extreamly unpleasent with special regards to the heatwave we were vitnessing during our stay.
- Irma (10/5): Wonderful, well-located and comfortable stay. - Wonderful, well-located and comfortable stay. Very nice and helpful host. Good ratio of price and quality. -
- Marja (9/5): Cozy apartment for a family or group of friends. - Good location, as it's in a quieter area, but city centre is just a few minutes walk straight down the street.
Felt very homely! Nice touch of a welcoming tray with sweets and a bottle of wine.
Basics for breakfast and snacks were provided, but we bought addidional things like fresh bread, cheese, yogurt.
Fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances you can think of. Even the freezer was stocked with ice cubes.
Plenty of clean towels. The shower is small and outdated. Wifi conncetion is weak.
