Guest Reviews
- Kerri (10/5): Great property - Great location and great hosts Nothing
- Eden (9/5): great -
- Katharine (10/5): Excellent communication from owner. Great location. All facilities inside property that you need. - Perfect location walking distance to carpark shops seafront Not able to open the door to the internal courtyard
- Carrie (4/5): Uncomfortable, but ok for a night or two at best. - Location close to venue we was visiting The property is not the best shape the extension / 3 rd bedroom entrance the roof leaks and left a puddle on the floor. Floor became very slippy. I had slipped and hurt myself. Had to put a towel down to soak up the water as it rained a lot over night. Room is also extremely cold and the door doesn’t shut at all..! Tv looks like someone as kicked/hit it.. no plug to the sink in the kitchen to do washing up .. mould and very lose light fitting in the bath room. And front bedroom very wobbly bed . There are a few more issues but I think I have said enough..
- Amy (7/5): Lovely stay - Comfy beds, clean, plenty of space, kitchen worktop with barstools, location was good Steps down into the apartment are quite steep and narrow, no working outside light, if staying in the bedroom by the kitchen the gas boiler clicks all night
- Josh (9/5): -
- James (5/5): Could do with freshening up! - The location and the check in. 1st night ok but 2nd not good Very noisey neighbours upstairs banging about til 4am both nights. Bedroom ceiling leaked which woke us up at 5am and it’s not a fresh leak as the wall and ceiling is starting to go brown, the wall to go into our room was wet above the door and window in the living room, light cord in bathroom hanging off, sinks took ages to drain, no working outside light to get into the property when it’s dark. The kitchen could do with updating as it’s all miss match and tatty. Food left in cupboards from whoever was there previously
- Brian (8/5): Would recommend it for a short stay. - Beds were comfortable but would benefit from cotton linen. The kitchen area although functional, could be made into a great feature.
- Serhii (8/5): -
- Clare (9/5): Would certainly use again and David very helpful - Stayed one night perfect for what we needed and key locked so for four coming in a different times very handy Kitchen sink not in a great place if you are on the shorter side to wash up
- Gomes (10/5): We all had good sleeps.and it was so nice and clean it was perfect for all of us the landlord was so nice and underst - It was absolutely perfect than you so much !!
My apologies I did leave my camping chair as it was too heavy so I had to leave it. You guys can have it brand new Non everything was perfect
- Amina (2/5): Brighton disaster - Location was great just about the only thing to be honest. Hygiene wasn't good when we arrived it had a very strange smell to the property, the bedsheets had stains on (I forgot to take pics of this) in front bedroom, window in front bedroom didn't have any security when closed i could push it back open so we couldn't leave any valuables inside, we were unable to cook in the property due to the cooker dirty, microwave dirty, the cupboards had very strange smell certainly not my level of clean and hygiene so we had to pay extra cost to eat out every day !!!, the kitchen bin was absolutely disgusting the smell was to the point i felt like vomiting, when water was used in kitchen sink again horrendous smell from the drainage as outside the front door the drain pipe leaks and leaves slime on the floor which is a hazard as my son slipped on this whilst leaving the property, curtains in small back bedroom do not shut off the whole window to which the flat above can see into the bedroom very concerning issue, also under the beds they was some form of clothes ??? The tv is placed in a very low setting also damaged when turned on with lines across the screen.
I'm extremely disappointed and highly suggest not staying here , actually very misleading wont be considering staying here again , would appreciate a refund of some kind tbh.
Pictures added were taken when we first entered the property.
I could only add the required amount of pics which is shame as I do have othrs.

- Megan (8/5): Lovely little apartment, great for group trips - Nice and spacious, with easy walk to beach and shops Perhaps a little damaged upon arrival, with scuffs and damage on walls and door, as well as damage to tv screen
- Sakulwat (5/5): -
- nula (1/5): Not for family's! - Only the location Advertised as family friendly but it's much more of a party house with neighbours up all hours, drug paraphnailia outside, unclean, advertised as no pets but dog hairs everywhere had a child with allergies have a reaction from the sofa.
- Anne (6/5): Für einen Zwischenstopp ok - Tolle Lage direkt an der Waterfront. Das Apartment ist dunkel, da es im Untergeschoss liegt und die hinteren Zimmer unter der Erde liegen.
- Catherine (1/5): A bad experience - Room one The place it was in the basement and dark steps down were steep and broken tile, the 2 bedroom had 2 outside door to no where it was like a square in the middle of the house if u looked out and up u could see who ever was in the upstairs apartment, and hear them and they were so bad it was crazy shouting screaming banging and moving furniture till about 330 in the morning its was madness I had call the owners about 27times send a number of texted but no reply till the morning and this was to say they were sorry to hear that I ask for a full refund and that we were moving out the following day but he had a friend that had another apartments across the road we took it but a bit sorry we did as they were not as bad upstairs but shouting again next door out on the street fighting again omg do not take anything in this area, we took it for the 3 bedroom it was dated not very nice place to stay would not recommend it at all,
- Ralph (5/5): Wouldn’t book this property again - Location was very good, it was clean and well presented It’s a converted basement in a town house. Some of the walls were of cheap construction. Consequently there was a lot of noise from neighbouring accommodation. The rear bedrooms were particularly bad where you could literally hear the conversation from other rooms not belonging to the flat. The noise seemed to go on into the night making sleep difficult
- Katie (8/5): Very good - Close to the beach with lots of cafes & bars in the local area.
- Jonathan (6/5): A functional basement flat - cheap(ish) but not cheerful - Ease of access and the location were good. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. David was fast to reply to my messages. I would stay here again for the price (as long as my intention was to not spend much time in the flat other than to sleep/wash). They left some instructions that stated that there was CCTV inside the flat. We couldn't spot any CCTV, so we worried there were hidden cameras, which is just not okay. Turns out the instruction sheet was for the flat upstairs, but they didn't tell us this, so I had to waste time messaging the landlord for clarification, which was annoying as we were in a rush to get to an event. The place is also just a bit tired and rundown. It's not a particularly nice space to be in. It's really just a place to sleep and wash in, but not hang out in.
- Rodríguez (5/5): Passable -
- Zoe (4/5): Noisy Neighbours - Great location, pretty cheap considering how close it is to everything.
Beds were comfortable.
Clean enough.
Let us drop our bags off before check in. The neighbour upstairs was clearly having some sort of mental crisis. Wouldn't stop shouting all through the night, could only get about 2 hours sleep when she stopped screaming at 5AM.
No curtains on the windows in two of the bedrooms so you were then woken up by the light in the morning.
Half of the windows don't close properly and there was only enough hot water in the morning for one person to have a shower.
- Murray (7/5): Great location, noisy neighbours! - The location was amazing.
I facilities were great - kettle, fridge, freezer, cups. Plates. Pans, utensils
The rooms were a very nice size
Bathroom was large and modern The booking should state entry to the flat is down the stairs of a maisonette
One bedroom doesn’t have a door - it has a curtain.
The neighbours upstairs were extremely loud until about 4am
- Josh (7/5): Just good - 3 bedrooms with kitchen Having rules that came across as condescending considering neighbours were so loud
- Chloe (3/5): Poor - The location was great. Close walk to the pier. The ceiling was leaking onto one of the beds down the wall and we hd to stay in the living room. Contacted the owners didn’t get back to us till the morning saying they was in there way and still didn’t show up before we had to leave. When emailed then asking for some money back they was rude. We had 2 newborn baby’s with us as well.
- Charlotte (2/5): Cold showers, thumping all night from above, smelt of mould - not recommended - The positives were that the host was very responsive to my messages and the area felt safe. It was clean and toilet rolls were very well stocked. The apartment is about 15 mins walk from the lanes and the beach is at the end of the road. It's also close to the marina and the new outdoor pool complex. The bathroom was big. It's a basement apartment and the two bedrooms at the back smelt of mould. The hot water ran out about 3 minutes into the first shower in the morning and the shower was then colder than ice - and it was a very hot day but it was so cold it was impossible to stay under the water - I had just been for a swim in the sea before I tried and the sea was balmy in comparison. The apartment was quite basic and had things like the boiler in the kitchen with pipes running across the walls. All a bit studenty. The bedding was not cotton and had a rather unpleasant worn texture. All night people upstairs were clomping around and it reverberated around the apartment, so none of us got more than about 3 hours sleep. All in all this place is in dire need of a renovation. It was reasonably cheap when split between 5 but there are way better places in Brighton for the price if you book early and stay two nights. We didn't, so hence why we ended up here. But I would not book it again.
- Mary-lou (9/5): Great stay within a lively local community within easy reach of good cafes and restaurants. easy walk to the beach and t - Location. This was perfect for walking everywhere in Brighton. Excellent communication from the host. Suited us as a family with plenty of room. Suggest a gate at stop of the stairs for added security.
- Phil (3/5): Poor - Shower was okay
Nice and close to the seafront Noisy neighbours shouting at each other through the night.
One bed very saggy and uncomfortable.
Door latches broken.
Steps down to basement.
Someone shouting in the street at 4am
No plug so washing up was difficult.
App for parking didn't work well. (Parking along the seafront)
- Nick (3/5): Terrible noise from neighbours! - The noise from the house/flat above was very poor. All night the residents were moving around and chatting all night. The irony is that the host of the property we stayed in left posters in every room telling us not to make a noise and to respect the neighbours, yet the neighbours didn't care at all about the noise they made.
There couldn't have been any carpet in the flat above - the noise of footsteps was totally unacceptable.
I would not recommend this property.
- Figueiredo (9/5): Nice stay, great location! Perfect for a group of friends looking to have some fun in Brighton! - I loved that the house had every kitchen appliance and accessory we needed for cooking and eating. Good location. Good shower. Good beds. The kids loved the big TV in the living room. The flat was well cleaned. The host responded quickly to questions. The location is great, but I don't think it's the best for families with young kids, mainly due to the noise on the streets and from the upstairs flat, where they were partying until 4 am. People were talking and smoking on the front stairs of our building. Lastly, the flat is a basement flat, so there is not a lot of natural light.
- Hawthorne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb - Location.
- Paul (7/5): Good - Not included
- Aneta (5/5): Passable - Very nice and clean room. Perfect location The balcony windows to the terrace do not open, it is difficult to ventilate the room on warm days.
The entrance to the apartment is not lit and there is a large step, which caused the woman to fall and twist her ankle.
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Max (8/5): Communicative host and a nice stay. - Spacious in a great location. It’s a bit run down and could do with a refurb.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Betts-gray (10/5): Great location - Spacious apartments with 3 double bedrooms, very good location only short walk to Brighton pier
- Jo (10/5): Great location - Spacious bedrooms, comfortably beds, great location. Nothing
- Michaela (9/5): Superb - Brilliant location, nice and clean flat, and a lovely host. Sufficient facilities.
- Jamie (6/5): Good for family stay but tired decor and furniture. - Property was well positioned in Brighton Does need a bit of a deep clean as there was areas that need attention.Cob webs, hoovering under beds, cleaning of seagull excrement on windows in rear of property.Would I stay again, probably not.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shuker (10/5): Exceptional -
