• Christine (10/5): - A wonderful and pristine place. Quite with a great view on the white sandy beach! The cabin is well equipped with everything needed, as well as very clean and modern. The garden is awsome and best of all- Wallabies and Koalas were right next to us, even a Mami with a baby Koala just within 2-3 Meters distance. A once in a lifetime experience. We loved every minute of our stay! Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf diesem herrlichen Grundstück. Es war so schön ruhig und die Aussicht auf den Emu Beach ist eine Wucht! Die Unterkunft war bestens ausgestattet, alles was man brauchte war da und alles ist angenehm modern und sauber. Der Garten ist unglaublich schön und gepflegt und das Beste daran- Wallabies und Koalas sind so nah zu bewundern wie nirgendwo sonst auf unserer Reise. Wir haben jede Minute einfach nur genossen.

• Wawrzyniak (8/5): Staying at the retreat was perfect for attending our friends wedding! The location was clean and photos matched the inte - The location overlooking the lake was beautiful. Some extra pillows for the bed would have been lovely.
• Rachel (10/5): Perfect retreat - A perfect base for a quiet retreat after an overwhelming year. The view is absolutely beautiful ... so calming. The accommodation is spacious and light, bed is very comfortable, kitchen is well set-up for self-catering, bathroom is neat with good water pressure in the shower. An information pack of local attractions and dining options is provided. Julie and Grant were very welcoming, but also respected my need for solitude on this trip. Highly recommended. This didn't bother me, but be aware that Clayton Bay currently has not dining out options or grocery shopping. If you don't want to drive for provisions, bring everything you need for your stay. It's also worth noting that there is no stovetop, but there is an oven, microwave, electric frypan, and toastie maker.
• Janet (9/5): - Extremely spacious (4 rooms, including a very large kitchen, dining and lounge area + heaps of outdoor space). A home away from home with many extras like dvds, books, coffee machine and full kitchen. Lovely views across to the lake, quiet and peaceful setting.

• Hans Evertz (10/5): - I booked Hilltop for my wife's birthday getaway and it was a brilliant decision. We both loved the tranquility of the location and the retreat itself. The retreat is well appointed and has everything to make your stay enjoyable. It is conveniently located to Lake Alexandrina, Milang and the Langhorne Creek wineries. We would recommend this stay to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the City.

Had everything we needed and was a good base to explore the local area and Goolwa and Victor Harbor. The only cafe nearby was closed the 3 days we were there. Didn't like having to leave.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, restful location overlooking lake. 15mn walk to cafe. Great air conditioning on an exceptionally hot day! A minor complaint, but the sheets were coarse and scratchy, uncomfortable for a hot night.
