- Lisa (10/5): Perfect stay - Amazing location, fantastic host, very welcoming, helpful and very comfortable room. The stay is super close to the o2 which was perfect. The room is clearly detailed with instructions on check out & WiFi and how to lock the door upon entering. Great - will definitely return.
- Romuald (9/5): -
- jade (1/5): Security concern – room could not be locked when leaving - We did not end up staying at this property because we did not feel comfortable with the security of the room. The bedroom door could only be locked from the inside, which meant we were unable to lock the room when leaving the property. This was not mentioned in the listing, and we would not have booked if we had known.
There was a safety deposit box provided, but it was very small and not big enough to store all of our belongings, so it did not solve the issue. As we were travelling with personal items, we needed to leave in the room. We did not feel it was safe to stay.
Due to the lack of proper security and the missing information in the description, we chose not to stay and had to find alternative accommodation. This was very inconvenient and caused unnecessary stress during our trip.
We would recommend that the property clearly state the door locking situation in the description so future guests can make an informed decision before booking.
- emma (10/5): - Home from home, perfect for an overnight stay
- Bebe Zahra (10/5): -
- Lee (9/5): Excellent stay, would definitely stay here again - Location to the O2 was great, excellent communication from the host, and very good facilities. Just what we needed after the show at the O2 The bed wasn’t the most comfortable
- Rebecca (10/5): Great room so close to O2 - It was so close to the O2 which was fantastic after the gig. It was very clean, warm and comfortable. The hosts were super helpful. Nothing it was great.
- Irena (6/5): Good for 1 night ,can be improoved. - Walking distance from O2
Friendly and caring host. Bed was very soft and not supportive.
Small doble, not spacious for tall people.
Has wooden feet board and again that is not comfortable for tall people.
Kettle and hot drinks making equpment not practical to be on the book shelf.
Cold room at night.
No shelf in the bathroom ,where to place toiletries.
- Martin (10/5): - very friendly & caring host,
super bed: had better sleeps than at home,
nice ambiente all perfect

- Nigel (10/5): Never done homestay before so a really pleasant surprise. The host was fantastic. - The location was perfect for us and if not for the weather would have spent a little time on the balcony at night. Walking distance to the O2 , 1 minute walk to the river Thames and transport to the city centre. The host was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble but at the same time left us alone to enjoy our holiday. I honestly can’t praise him enough, he was great.
- Ricky (10/5): -
- Sinha (9/5): Average. - I liked it from the moment I arrived. Everyone was very friendly, and they even served us breakfast in the morning, which was really pleasurable especially in a new place where you don’t know a single person. However, one day my partner and I were having coffee when he suddenly started coughing, and a small amount of coffee spilled on the carpet. It was a very minor spill and left only a light stain. I agree that I forgot to inform them about it at the time, as they were not at home and it slipped my mind.
After we checked out, the host messaged me on WhatsApp and spoke very rudely, using unacceptable and unethical language. He said things like, “So you people go to another place and leave after spilling too.” When I explained that it happened accidentally and that we are not children we understand hygiene and have stayed in many places before he still continued with a very bad tone.
I even asked him to raise a request on Booking.com and assured him that we would pay for any damage caused, but despite this, he remained rude. Initially, I was very happy with the stay, but the way he reacted and created a scene afterward was completely unacceptable
- DONNA (9/5): - It was clean
- TJ (9/5): Could not fault it. Everything was perfect and will definitely use it again (if possible) -
- Matthew (9/5): Easy Stay - Location, communication of host, very clean. Not much!
- Abbey (10/5): Absolutely perfect room and perfect host. - Very welcoming, lovely room, perfect area for where we were going. Very pretty walk in the eve. Would stay again. N/A
- Benjamin (10/5): Alles war gut. Sehr gerne wieder. - Alles sauber und ordentlich, sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Gute Lage: nah an der O2-Arena.
- kocsis (10/5): -
- Federica (9/5): - - Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili
- Stanza pulita
- Doccia spaziosa
- Anche se non vicinissimo, il centro città è facilmente raggiungibile (fermata bus e metro a pochi minuti) - Forte odore appena entrati nel palazzo
- Nessuna possibilità di chiudere la stanza da fuori
- Luka (10/5): -
- Carla (9/5): - Cosy and convenient for the O2. Friendly host.
- Casey (9/5): -
- Jana (10/5): -
- Emily (8/5): Lovely stay - Lovely room, very clean and warm. Very friendly owners. We did have trouble getting back into the room when we had come back from the O2. But the owner quickly responded and let us in, so no complaints. I didnt like the velvet duvet set as i do not like the feeling of velvet, but my friend liked the velvet.
- Jill (7/5): Great location. Easy walking distance to O2. Lovely host. - Location good to visit O2 I thought it was an independent accommodation and not in someone’s home. It was ok but I thought it was a studio flat.
- Sandra (10/5): Great stay definitely will be back! - How close to O2 it was, and how lovely the host was! Nothing was ever too much for her! Property is clean, very and I mean very comfortable bed! Clean rooms with en suite! Coffee and tea in room! Hot water with high pressure under shower- what else could you ask for? N/A
- Debbie (10/5): -
- Nwachukwu (10/5): Beautiful and neat place with amazing customer service - The room was very neat, The staff were very nice. The customer experience was great, nice views and quiet area.
- Monique (6/5): Basic room in a convenient location for the O2. - Close to the O2 where I attended a concert.
Only 15 mins walk from North Greenwich station all on pathways that would allow you to wheel your suitcase easily (although I had a backpack).
Spacious room with a balcony (view not pretty).
Safe location (female travelling alone).
Little cards with helpful information in the room. Towel was hard and didn’t smell nice (I could even smell onion 🤢).
Very basic, tired bathroom.
Little kettle is attached to the plug and lead (H&S hazard).
Although respectful of personal beliefs and preferences, leaving my shoes outside the room was odd. Happy to take them off but I could have left them inside the bathroom?
- Yasmine (10/5): Brilliant and worth the money. - The place is very close to the 02 arena so perfect for concerts, you also get to miss the rush for the underground since it’s a 10-15m walk down a straight path.
The room was spotless and comfortable , it also decorated very homely unlike some places which are bears or lack colour. it had its own bathroom which is a decent size. You also had a way to lock the door so your room is secure whilst you sleep.
The lady who meet me at the door and welcomed me in was very lovely and welcoming, she was very good at explaining bits about the room and the plaza the apartment is in.
The price as well is spectacular for its location and convenience for the 02 arena. Nothing it was a perfect place to stay.
- Jade (10/5): Had a lovely time, close to the o2. Lovely place and lovely people - Everything
- Tumininu (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing and private home stay - I liked how it easy it was to get to. Very close to North Greenwich station as well as a short walk to the O2 and Odeon etc. The hosts were amazing, very very nice and made the stay feel more comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean, cleaner than any hotel I’ve been to. The bed was very comfy too. There weren’t many things, there was nothing major I didn’t like. Only a few minor things I noticed. One was the tv wouldn’t connect to the WiFi and the other was that the parking was a little difficult but that was my fault as I didn’t like the host know in enough time what time I was going to arrive with my car. Found parking anyway.
- Bryony (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay for seeing concerts at The O2 as an easy 10 minute walk away. You can also easily access the bus too if needed.
Very clean and comfortable and the host was lovely, very helpful too. Nothing, was perfect for my short stay :)
- Emma (6/5): Really not as expected - The hosts were both really lovely, and we're very friendly and came across genuinely invested and proud of their business. Helpful and inviting!
The shower was powerful, and lovely and hot.
Slippers provided. Tea/coffee and sugar. The bed was very uncomfortable and felt like the springs had gone. We didn't sleep well.
There was a constant lingering smell of urine coming from the toilet/shower room.
Each day (more than once), there was a very strong smell of cannibas outside on the balcony, which we first experienced when sitting outside having a glass of wine. This filled our room and was very unpleasant.
The bath towels smelled musty and damp.
The kettle was tiny. It was just enough for 1 cup. It wasn't a huge issue but a little inconvenient.
There was no fridge. We had bought a 1 pint bottle of milk and some butter, with the hope of having a nice coffee and croissant in the morning, but we had to stand the milk in cold water in the bathroom sink. It was not ideal and didn't keep fresh for any longer than the day.
A very long walk to the nearest tube. We did know we weren't as close as previous stays in London, but it's worth bearing in mind if you want to save your feet.
Lots of steep stone steps up to the room.
Two cats (which we love and have ourselves), but it is worth knowing this if you are allergic. It doesn't state that there are cats.
We are sorry to sound so negative, but it's really important that people booking here know these things.
Maybe this was just our room, and maybe we are too particular. This place does have very high reviews, and it's by far not the worst, yet it didn't meet our expectations (we are sorry to say). We found the area very depressing and felt the photos were very misleading.
The balcony - We expected a picturesque scene by a lake. The lake was nowhere near. It was in the distance. Everything was very run down and shabby.
It was a cheap stay at just under £100 a night. However, we really didn't think the price would reflect this much.
Photos attached
We are just honest and don't want others to be disappointed.
We hope you love it, sadly it wasn't for us.
- Danielle (10/5): - excellent place to stay near the 02 15 mins walk, 5mins on the bus,
hosts where very accommodating
super clean nothing didn't like however it did say of facilities acces to kitchen and dining area this was not the case however there is a vegan cafe at the shops on site.however did not stop an pleasant stay
- Raja (10/5): -
- Milan (10/5): - Balcony Bed make noise
- ATHANASIOS (10/5): - Excellent, clean, nice decoration and very comfortable bathroom .
When it is worth it , recommendation becomes an obligation.
- Tim en Nele (10/5): -
- Isacson (10/5): Lovely stay, highly recommend - Lovely clean room with great ambiance and comfy. En-suite was a nice bonus. Everything was fine, no complaints
- emily (9/5): Cosy convenient stay - Hosts are lovely, the room is within the hosts appartment in a complex and the provide really clear instructions about how to find the appartment which were eas to follow. The room was clean and tidy and the balcony was a lovely addition. I wasn’t aware that the host had cats which I am allergic too. I took an antihistamine so it wasn’t a problem but just for other travelers to be aware. Additionally bring an eye mask as the blinds don’t really block out the light and will wake you up if your a light sleeper.
- Raguenet (8/5): - Sur l annonce ce n était pas spécifié que l habitant sera présent
- Mark (9/5): Strongly recommend. I would book this property again. - This was all round a very high standard for the price. I felt welcomed but had my own privacy.
The location was great for exploring and the O2 is just up the road.
It was a peaceful location which was a big bonus for London.
Instructions to find the property were clear and made very easy to understand. I rated this property 9 but would have happily given it 10 but due to the blinds in the bedroom.
You get light coming in through all the striped gaps especially at the ends, from the street lights.
I noticed this has come up on other reviews so it should really be addressed.
- Peter (10/5): - Very pleasant and comfortable room Nothing
- Heidi (8/5): Reasonable friendly ,clean place to stay if your ar - Friendly, location close to the o2, room large ; en-suite, Would of liked a small fridge in the room, to keep drinks cold and food ,
- Ellie (9/5): Beautiful Room with Balcony! We had such a lovely stay here with lovely owners! - Absolutely everything, stunning little room with on suite bathroom! A lovely little balcony with a view! Super clean room & modern feel! Such a comfortable bed we had an amazing stay! The owners are so pleasant, welcoming & lovely had our stay very special! Nothing at all we didn’t like! Only comment we would suggest is due to the heat it would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold :)
- Tania (9/5): Very good communication with owners. Ideal for 02 - 10 minute walk to 02
Balcony off room Nothing
- Jinlian (9/5): Superb - Pretty quiet, had a good sleep.
Like the little balcony, especially drink morning coffee there A bit tricky to find the room. Totally Forgot the instructions the lady sent me as booked quite early.
- Oana (10/5): Exceptional - Really cozy room in the host's apartment, we only met the wife, who's a really nice and helpful person. Everything was clean in the room and the communication with the host was amazing. We recommend.
- Glenda (9/5): Great host. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Ideally situated for the O2 and North Greenwich Pier and underground. - Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities
- Suzanne (9/5): Great location for O2 and Olympic Stadium. On the night tube line which was the reason we chose it. - Good location. Hosts were helpful but not intrusive. Accommodation had everything needed. It’s quite a walk from the tube station.
- Ciarhys (10/5): Great place to stay - Was a perfect place to stay whilst visiting the 02 with my daughter, I got sent very clear instructions on how to get to the property, the lady that met us at the door was very welcoming, our room was beautiful the bed was comfortable,we had a tea and coffee station, the shower was nice and had towels and soaps provided. also we loved sitting out on the balcony with a morning coffee. lovely place to stay would definitely recommend thankyou very much!
- Anya (10/5): Better than expected - The room was immaculate, tidy, clean and had all the facilities you would expect from a hotel room (tv, tea making facilities, fan, towel) lovely en-suite bathroom and balcony.
- Paula (10/5): Confortable, Friendly and value for money accommodation - This was a great find. Large comfy en-suite room with good attention to detail and a good quality bed.
Very close to the O2 making it excellent for a gig. I would 100% stay here again if attending a concert or event. There is nothing I didn’t like
- Bethany (7/5): Good -
- Howard (9/5): very quick clean quiet and easy - quiet, comfortable and easy to locate
- Rhiannon (10/5): Lush, lush, lush! - Lovely host, great location and so clean and tidy Nothing
- Miss (10/5): The hosts made me feel very welcoming in to their home - The location was brilliant for going to the O2 , good transport access from north Greenwich to visit London . I was traveling by myself bit nervous ,with the hosts instructions I found the homestay very easy to find . There was nothing to dislike .
- Sue (8/5): Good location and reasonably priced for visit to O2 arena - clear instructions provided by host on how to get there, bedroom/bathroom clean and bed very comfortable. Towels smelt damp,
Cobwebs on the balcony
Not being able to lock the bedroom door when going out.
- Kevin (10/5): A perfect location for the O2 Arena, the accommodation was well equipped, great value for money!!! - The location was perfect for when attending an event at the O2, it was a short, well lit journey back to the room. I travelled with my daughter, so was naturally apprehensive, however felt very safe and secure.
I was also a little apprehensive at first about using a 'homestay' however certainly didn't need to be. The accommodation was clean, and had all that you would need, such as your own bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi and a balcony, and you get all of this at a fraction of a cost of a hotel in the area!!!
I think the biggest plus were the host family/owners were absolutely lovely, so very kind and helpful, without being overly attentive. I would without a doubt recommend, well worth the money, thank you!!! Nothing at all, very much worth the money paid, thank you.
- Kevin (10/5): Clean and well equipped accommodation, close to the O2 Arena, really helpful hosts, thank you!!! - Fantastic location for the O2 Arena. My wife and daughter had stayed here previously so she knew that the accommodation would be perfect for us.
The room was clean and had all you needed for a nights stay when attending a concert, we had plates, cutlery, glasses, tea and coffee making facilities, internet access, TV and a nice ensuite bathroom.
The owners are so helpful and attentive without being overly so, they are a lovely family, and we even given a slice of birthday cake, this was such a lovely touch, thank you so much!!!
If you feel a little nervous about a homestay as opposed to a hotel, you honestly have no need to worry, you get everything that you need, at a much reduced cost of a hotel stay.
Thank you, we will definitely be back, and will recommend to our friends and family!!! Nothing, everything was great thank you.
- Jane (10/5): Very comfortable room in quiet location - Lovely quiet residential location. Very comfortable room with balcony. Lovely friendly hosts. Approx 12-15 mins walk to O2 along flat footpath. There was nowhere open to eat in the neighbourhood after the concert, as new residential area, but the local grocery shop was open for snacks til 11pm.
- Matthew (8/5): Just perfect for a night’s stay if you’re going to an event at the O2. - Convenient location, clean and a great host. Nothing
- Elizabeth (10/5): Our stay was relaxing and exactly what we wanted for our trip. - The property was in a great location to the o2. There were shops as well just around the corner so it didn’t feel isolated. Despite it being a homestay our privacy was respected. Everything about the property was great
- Hayley (10/5): Great hosts very welcoming and friendly lovely clean room and great location for the 02. - The location was perfect for the 02 arena, The host were very welcoming and the room was lovely and clean i would defiantly recommend this accommodation and stay again..
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manguiat (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gem (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alastair (10/5): Great place and location with a great host. Room was perfect loverly balcony - Excellent Room Excellent Host Nothing. It was great!
- Yunling (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice staff and very clean room, perfect location if you are seeing a concert at the O2 stadium.
- Toni (10/5): Great location, Great host! - The host was very welcoming, and the room was very comfortable and clean, with everything you need for an overnight stay. The location was ideal for the O2 arena, just a short walk which was perfect. Nothing
- Cara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (8/5): A short but comfortable stay in a perfect spot for the O2 and getting to see some of the area. - We really liked how close it was to the O2 but also how it was set back from the main road so you didn't feel too closed in. We also liked how easy it was to walk to the O2 (under 10 minutes) and we could walk along the water's edge. Lakshan and his wife were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. letting us 'get on with it' when we came to have our food. We also really appreciated Lakshan sorting the parking space out for us; travelling into London is a very rare experience for us and knowing the parking was arranged was one less thing to think about.
- Lisa (10/5): Home away from home. - Gorgeous well decorated and very clean ensuite room in a home within a modern apartment block. It was easy to find, very secure, key code locks and garden area. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and responded very quickly to any communication. The room was well equipped with tea, coffee, milk, plates, cups, hairdryer, TV, shampoo and shower cream, beautiful bedding and a warm quilt and an added bonus was the balcony and slippers. We slept very well and it was quiet.
The room is in an excellent location in Greenwich, a ten minute, flat walk to the O2 arena, shops, the tube and it's next to the Thames path for lovely walks with great views. We loved everything.
- Onno (10/5): Wonderful - Very hospitable and friendly home Nothing
- Laura (10/5): Excellent! - Great location to the O2 and North Greenwich tube - just a 10/15 mins walk. The flat could be difficult to find, but the host gives great instructions to follow and I found it even in the dark. The room and bathroom are lovely with all the things you might need like coffee, glasses, mugs, plates and cutlery, plus shampoo and shower gel. The bed is super comfy as well! Plus a balcony, with slippers for when you go out there, and it has chairs too. Really excellent.
- Piotr (8/5): Very good - Clean, nice room, good location Nothing to report
- Silke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wai (9/5): Superb - Walking distance to O2 Arena and bus station. Clean room and comfortable bed. Host is very nice and welcoming. Surprised to share with his birthday cake!
- Alice (9/5): Very pleasant, great location - Check-in instruction were very clear, bedroom was well equipped and well decorated, beds were comfortable, bathroom was nice and clean. There was some fruit, soluble coffee and breakfast food when we got there, which was also a nice touch. Location is brilliant if you're attending events in the O2, we could walk back home very easily. Overall experience was very pleasant. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the bedroom couldn't be locked from the outside, just from inside. There was a safe in the bedroom, but it was too small so I didn't bother using it (my laptop wouldn't fit anyway). Everything was fine in the end, but I think it's something worth fixing.
- Jordan (10/5): Great space, excellent location and lovely hosts. - Extremely helpful and welcoming hosts. Incredibly clean.
- Lauren (9/5): Great room close to the o2 - Lovely comfy room in a quiet location with very easy walk to the o2. We would definitely recommend and stay again when attending another concert
- Inga (9/5): Superb -
- Karolia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa (9/5): Great location, nice price-quality - The room was big with plenty storage space. The bathroom had a good size and had both hand soap and gel + toilet paper.
The bed was firm but comfortable.
They had coffee, cups and plates and cuttlery in the room, which was nice and convenient.
I liked how close to the OVO was, and even though I ended up going to the Wembley, the subway close to the hotel also goes straight to the Wembley, which was amazing.
There is a bus stop within a 2 min walk that leaves you in the subway in less than 5 minutes.
You can get to the center in 30-45 mins. I don't drink coffee, so it would have been nice if they had tea aswell.
The window of the room was huge and allowed light in, but it was in front of the terraces of the neighbors and if i kept the blinds open they could see everything I did, so I had to keep them close.
This was not a problem and I could've asked, but in the room offer and details (if I am not mistaken and remember correctly) they do not mention wheather or not you can use the microwave available in the living room.
I think it says it is a share space, but i only knew if I could use or not the microwave because I read it in one of their answers.
Again, not a bad thing, I just think including it in the details would be easier.
Overall, good experience.
- Daphne (8/5): Very good -
- Alyssa (10/5): Excellent location and property - Location was perfect, easy to drive to and perfect for anyone going to a gig at the O2. The host was very friendly and provided clear instructions to get to the property. The property was clean with all the basics. We particularly liked the small touches of fruit and chocolate bars provided. Nothing! Everything was great.
