- Emma (10/5): Perfect stay in Fuencaliente - Met on arrival by the host, tidy little apartment right in the middle of town and next to a delicious bakery which we highly recommend. Walking distance from hiking trailheads, and only a 15 min drive down to the sea where there are some natural rock pools you can swim in if the sea is too rough. Good value accommodation. Lots of free parking within 5 mins walk of the apartment.

Las cortinas en los cristales no opacan la luz externa y se me hizo difícil dormir, creo que con cortinas que no dejen pasar las luz les daría un 10+++

- Yvonne (10/5): Perfecte locatie in het hart van fuencaliente - Mooi schoon en comfortabel appartement. Perfecte locatie voor wandelingen. Licht centraal, bus, restaurants, supermarkt etc op loopafstand. Ik kom hier zeker weer terug.

El apartamento es muy fácil de encontrar, el contacto con Maria funciona de maravilla y hay un café estupendo y un supermercado justo en la entrada del edificio. Por fin un check-in sin complicaciones, con una entrega de llaves sencilla. Don César es muy amable y me contó de forma muy bonita la historia del origen de los apartamentos. La cocina y el apartamento tienen todo lo que se necesita; la calefacción en la habitación es absolutamente imprescindible y la señora de la limpieza hace un trabajo excelente. Una idea muy, muy bonita es la cesta de fruta en la entrada. ¡Gracias! La puerta del baño es difícil para cerrar

- Eugeniu (6/5): I wouldn’t recommend it in winter - Host is really responsive and friendly Thanks for free fresh bananas Very noisy, insulation is too bad + if you’ll have room 1,2 or 3 just make sure that your window will be just in front of the main road. The location itself is at 700+ of elevation that means you’ll have lower temperatures rather than cities close to the shore + without shoes in the room is almost impossible to walk, floor is super cold at least some carpets for winter season would be great.

- Ester (10/5): - Sono stata tre giorni con un’amica presso questa struttura e ci siamo trovate benissimo. L’host è stata super accogliente e non ci ha mai fatto mancare nulla, anzi ci ha dato molti consigli utili per visitare l’isola. La camera era pulita e aveva tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno, in piú pur stando poche notti ci hanno comunque fatto le pulizie in camera ogni giorno, cosa non scontata! Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio, di meglio non potevamo trovare :)

The apartments are pretty spacious, have everything you need, are immaculately clean, and you even get daily room service. The staff are super friendly and helpful. - Gabriele (10/5): - Ms Maria was one of the most welcoming host I ever encountered, she was always connected for making our stay the best possible. She also spends time at the information point nearby, so she knows the island of La Palma very well and can give valuable information. If you have intentions to spend time at the apartamentos, you might want to stay connected with her as she is a valuable resource for your stay and can easily solve any issue with the apartment. The other staff is super friendly and welcoming as well. The cleanliness of the apartment is superior. The value for money is very good. The local village has all the services, two grocery shops, a butcher, a bakery, a small sports equipment shop, a local handcraft items shop, a nice cafe with amazing brownies, a pizzeria, an information point, you name it. In general I found that people at La Palma are very friendly, one day an old man even gave us grapes he just harvested for free, they have my affection and sincere respect. I loved to stay in La Palma! Around 8am the road nearby the apartments might get a little bit noisy. It wasn't too much bothering us though, but still we noticed

Aunque está al lado de la carretera está genial insonorizado y no se escucha ningún ruido. Ubicado en un lugar ideal para la Ruta de los Volcanes, visita al volcan san Antonio, faro y salinas.

- Silvana (9/5): Central mini apartment in Fuencaliente at fair price - Central mini apartment in Fuencaliente, with a small kitchen, a very comfortable bed, a balcony to the city, and private bathroom with good shower. A late arrival was no problem. There is a supermarket nearby and the bar Sporty was open until late (and serves La Gota wine by the glass).

- Richard (9/5): Good village-centre apartment. - Pleasant reception. Note that one member of the family works in the tourist office. The apartment seems to have been recently refurbished, and is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It also has a nice balcony. Nearby are two (non-gourmet) restaurants, a butcher, bakery/coffee shop, supermarket, bus stop, two bars, etc. No washing machine (but the many good points about the place outweigh that omission)
- Michelle (9/5): nice accommodation in a great town! - kitchen had all the supplies you needed to make a basic meal. terrace was lovely to sit on. had a lovely view of sunset from there too. bathroom was nice and clean. there was a dead cockroach behind the door. luckily i found a broom in the hallway to get rid of it. but hey it was dead right?! also, the person who checked us in was probably the least friendly person we’ve met in the canary islands. basically said one word to us, “passport”, and not another word as he walked away and expected us to follow him to the room. it didn’t affect our stay but was a little off putting.

Higher pressure of water in the shower, electric kettle, sharper knives, some longer knife to cut bread and a salad bowl would have been welcome.
