Guest Reviews
- janette (8/5): Tilly - Feminine - Lovely little touches- fresh flowers , tea lights , log burner , essentials left for us to enjoy. Owner was a delight, so helpful. Shower 1 was dangerous- red hot then cold. Shower 2 - just cold. Would have liked some books on the history of Glastonbury / Folklore .
Fire side could do with a fire tidy so it can be cleared of ash.
- Matthew (10/5): Beautiful off-grid stay in Glastonbury - An incredible wild camping spot surrounded by stunning scenery, with a natural pool that makes it feel like a hidden gem. The location is peaceful, perfect for switching off and reconnecting with nature. Easily one of the most memorable places to camp in Glasto.
- Anna (10/5): Nature hideaway - My stay was beautiful. It felt as a magical and peaceful place, where I could rest after travelling. I enjoyed the yurt, the stars and the beauty of the little flowers. The hosts were very welcoming and heartfelty kind.
- Derek (8/5): Peaceful location but a stroll to the toilets and kitchen area. - There's 2 Yurts in the field which is in a lovely quiet location, I saw a Barn owl, buzzards and Deer in the surrounding area and the other Yurt was empty so had the place to ourselves. There's a wood burner in Yurt with just a kettle, so if you light it in the evening within a hour you can make a brew, alternatively you can walk approximately 150 metres past the pond to a small kitchen area shared with the other Yurt which has a single camping gas stove to boil a kettle, a couple of small sinks and a small fridge freezer to share, here there is crockery and cutlery etc, and adjoining this are 2 undercover electric showers which work well and are a good size. It's a shame there's just the wood burner in the Yurt as its about 150 metres to the kitchen area and if it's hot you won't want to light the burner or if the weather isn't great it's a walk in the rain, also the composting toilet is about 100 metres away, it's no deal breaker but thought people should be made aware as we could have taken more of our camping stuff had we know

- Kim (10/5): The perfect stay to experience the joys of Somerset - My daughter and I stayed here for a few days - it was exactly what we needed, quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature with close access to everything you could want. We found the site very easily from the moment of arriving it was effortless - gorgeous yurt with views of the tor from bed, a little kitchen that had everything you could need, facilities like the compost loo and shower were very much part of the adventure for my 7 year old. Fin was on hand for any questions we had and was quick to respond when we needed help with a couple things over our stay. Would definitely recommend - we will be back! There is nothing really to fault at all with this place. I think if I was being picky I would love the option of a camp bed in future so we could come back as a family of 3.
- Richard (10/5): - Absolutely stunning Nothing
- tara (10/5): We had such a lovely peaceful stay. Just what we needed after the loss of a loved one - Beautiful area, lovely views, peaceful and tranquil

- Lopez (10/5): Wonderful yurts surrounded by beautiful nature 🌳 - The yurts and surrounding grounds are beautiful kept and very clean. The facilities are also great and the pond is wonderful touch to the stay! There was not much to not like. Only thing to note is there is no power in the yurts for those who may need to charge devices etc. but if you are going to disconnect from tech and connect to nature it is fantastic!
- Kelly (10/5): Best view EVER - Fantastic view of Glastonbury Tor from the bed 😍
- Elaine (9/5): Magical wild camping experience! - The location was stunning, located in a wildflower meadow with a beautiful pond and a view of the Tor from your very comfy bed! All the little touches like the flowers and candles in the yurt, the hot water bottle and the flask of hot water on arrival made such a difference. Such friendly and helpful hosts too. The weather!!
It would be nice to have some basic condiments in the kitchen, ie: teas, coffee, sugar, and cooking oil.
- Vustyan (10/5): Exceptional and keen to come again! - It had everything we needed and was absolutely beautiful. N/A
- Kath (9/5): Comfortable camping!! Cosy up in a Yurt under the starry sky! - Fantastic locations and such a treat to stay in a yurt! Views were fantastic and watching the sunset over the pond was magical. Kitchen well stocked with equipment, bed very comfy with lots of layers, lots of options for seating. Stove was a godsend! Great to boil up some water for tea too, incense was a little treat to make everything smell magical too! Nice and close to Glastonbury to spend the day. Toilets were a little walk away from the yurt, but it’s ok as actually don’t want to be too near compost loos!
- Claire (9/5): Stunning yurt, clean and beautifully decorated. - Absolutely stunning yurt in the countryside! The most comfortable bed with a lovely warm duvet. We loved the decoration and the view of the Tor from our bed was amazing. So clean and the shower, toilet and kitchenette were well equipped and clean also. There was a field of sheep next to the yurt which made for a noisy morning wake up call but certainly wouldn’t put us off staying again and they were no bother really.
- Melanie (10/5): Comfortable Tranquility - I stayed here recently for a 2 night getaway on my own. I had the 'Tilly' yurt and although the photos looked amazing, nothing can prepare you for seeing it in real life. The yurt is truly the best of both worlds and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in.
You get a private area with a fire pit and table with chairs. As there is only 2 yurts it's very peaceful but the sound of sheep bleating will keep you company. There is a compost toilet for each yurt, a shared kitchen and showers. I was very lucky with the weather so decided to have a dip in the lake to cool off. It's also an idyllic place to watch the sunset with a view of Glastonbury tor sat on the jetty with your feet in the water.
As I was there on my own I needed help from the hosts a few times. I met Fin who runs the site and his mum. They are both so friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and that I had everything I needed.
I will definitely be coming back, see you soon guys 👋 If you're a non driver like me it's roughly a 25 minute walk to the nearest shop in Boltonsborough in one direction and the same to the bus stop in West Pennard in the opposite direction.
