- Yvonne (9/5): Lovely little apartment. - Location. Decor. Style. View of Hills from lounge. Downside was no info on heating, so it was very cold without radiators on once we had gone into bedrooms.
- Lucie (10/5): -
- John (10/5): -
- leeann (7/5): - Flat was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Fantastic views that we will never forget The entrance did scare us a bit and we weren't sure what we were walking into. Was dark and dingy and very old. Once past that was fine. The window ledge in the living room did nearly fall off when we put something on it
- Laura (10/5): Great accommodation, very clean and well equipped, the host was very accommodating and helpful -
- Esther (10/5): Great WHW stay - Fantastic host and home. The shower was incredible after a long day of walking! Great location with incredible views. Had everything you'd need for a stay. We didn't cook (Rice and Chips is round the corner and amazing!) but the kitchen looked amazing if we needed to.
Host super quick with responses, AMS baggage drop worked perfectly, and they were so kind! Would love to come back.
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Stacy (10/5): Perfect town and stay. - Great location! Nothing!
- Andrew (8/5): A tweak on the heat and it’s perfect - Clean, well equipped and comfortable. The heating needed to stay on an hour longer. I think, as two mature and responsible people, we perhaps should’ve been able to control the heating ourselves.
- Constantin (10/5): Apatament superb - Locatia este superba, la fel ca si apartamentul. Are o priveliste foarte frumoasa si in fata si in spate. Este foarte bine dotat. Recomand f mult! Nu am
- Mike (8/5): Lovely property, but bed too soft for me. - Lovely property, cracking views. The bedroom towards the rear of the property needs a new mattress. It was really soft and gave me a rather sore back.
- Harsh (10/5): -
- Lei (10/5): Really loved it and wished we had booked for longer! - This property is in a great location and the interior is so chic and stylish! The views are incredible and we could spot deer on the hill!
Near the water, the accommodation was stocked with everything we needed and beds/couches were so comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, we can’t wait to come back :) I would recommend a bit more signage as it can be a bit confusing in the dark but even so, was still fine to find!
- stephanie (9/5): Excellent stay, will definitely be back. - Property in a stunning location with the most amazing view. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. Great facilities in the apartment and less than a 5 min walk from the pub and the local shop and a 15 min walk from the waterfall. Stairs up to the apartment were a bit dark, could do with an extra light.
- Virginia (9/5): Fab - Great location. Beautiful apartment and facilities. Great value The only criticism I would have is that one of the mattresses was quite uncomfortable and the bed was really creaky when you roll over. Wasn’t the most comfortable sleep but everything else was great
- Martinez (10/5): Lovely place with stunning view - This place was absolutely lovely, the location was perfect for us to explore the highlands while staying in a cozy town.
The flat was really clean and had everything you would need.
- Arshmeet (8/5): -
- Sam (10/5): -
- Esther (10/5): Perfecto! - De haber sabido que estaba tan bien, habría reservado una noche más. Muy acogedor. Estuvimos súper cómodos!
- Olivia (10/5): -
- Samprad (10/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful views! We felt lucky to sleep here. - Bed was creaky. It didn’t bother me, but it did my husband
- John (9/5): Perfect location, perfect surroundings would definitely stay again! - The location is ideal. We were even greeted by 4 local deer (2 x Stags and 2 x Hinds) on the grass right outside the property much to my wife and daughters surprise as they had to walk past them to get in!
Facilities in the house were perfect! (Not a dislike, just an observation)
The stairs up into the house could possibly do with some form of gripping as they are painted and a bit slippy.
- Natalie (10/5): - Super comfortable, beautiful self sufficient apartment. Updated interior, very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very communicative and even let us know we could check in early if we needed which was helpful while travelling with our baby. Bonus points for the stunning views! Nothing
- Amir (10/5): Amazing apartment, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need - Fantastic apartment - super clean, cozy, and equipped with absolutely everything.
Great view from the living room window and a supermarket just around the corner.
The laundry facilities were a real bonus during our WHW hike! Everything was absolutely excellent

- Michelle (10/5): This is a beautiful home that we enjoyed staying in. It is updated and the host is great! - The host immediately got back to me about my questions. The interior is beautiful! It would have been nice to stay there more than one night! Having to take 2 large suitcases up the stairs since the property is on the 2nd floor. (This was our problem for packing like this)
- Ashley Charles (10/5): perfect - Cosey atmosphere, really cute little house. nothing
- Peng (10/5): -
- Anja Maria (10/5): Tastefully furnished, well equipped and quiet holiday home. - A tastefully furnished and well equipped holiday home in a quiet and nevertheless central location. Highly recommended!
- Rachel (10/5): Great place - Lovely comfortable and clean place with lots of room and a superb view Nothing
- YANG (10/5): -
- Václav (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely place with a nice view. The flat is large and clean with all the things you need.
When we are around again, we'll sure pay a visit again.
- Selina (10/5): Ideal location and size for our needs, clean, comfortable and well maintained . - Fresh and clean, nice perks like some biscuits, tea and coffee. Lovely decor. Nothing
- Liane (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Nice to see stag casually walking down the street. - Homely and comfortable
- Chris (10/5): Lovely apartment in a great location. Really comfortable with everything we needed - Very well decorated and equipped. Lovely views. It had everything we needed and was located very centrally within the town. Nil
- Dawn (9/5): Superb - The flat was very well equipped and very comfortable- what a view from the window.
- Rebecca (10/5): Reassuringly comfortable after a very long wet days hiking - Facilities, had everything we needed, communication with owner who is very kind and extra helpful.
- Pamela (9/5): Great location, nice walking - The location was great, Kinlochleven is beautiful and it was great to be greeted by a Cuckoo calling as we arrived!
The owner was very helpful and is kindly going to post on something I left behind. Would have preferred full length handrail on the stairs .
Instruction manuals for kitchen equipment would be helpful
- Michael (10/5): First Class - Excellent we had a lovely stay
Thanks Nothing
- Stefan (5/5): Passable - Bathroom so dark I almost needed my head torch in there. Bathtub but no taps?
Property is overall pleasantly passable but the bathroom just left me with more questions than answers.
- Ross (10/5): Exceptional -
- Skye8606 (8/5): Very good - Well equipped kitchen
warm and clean
spacious rooms looks a bit run down from the outside, which is unfortunate as completely refurbished inside. the stairs up to the actual living part are a bit steep and narrow. too many dark colours used for my taste. beds (mattresses) were very soft and no light next to it
- Amy (10/5): Beautiful apartment, easy access, great communication with hosts - This property was in a good location and was really nice inside. The beds we comfy, kitchen very well equipped and a huge bathroom with a tub! I can't think of anything aside from the seemingly complicated coffee maker which I chose to not use. A simple coffee set up would have been fantastic, but it was probably me - I don't use those type of pod machines.
- Mike (9/5): Superb -
- Kathleen (9/5): Superb - Jhodie the host was great - Loved the location. The apartment was lovely. Would have liked a little more lighting in the bathroom. All was great!
- Albert (8/5): Very good - Very well equipped property. Comfortable.
Two remarks to be aware of:
- access is through a stairway
- the two bedrooms are with king and double size beds, but none with single beds as shown in Bookings set of photos.
- Michelle (1/5): The worst I've ever come across. - The place was shoddy at best. We didn't stay at the property as it looked like the bedding had been on there for weeks. There was no way we would have stayed there. There was a dirty old dog bed lying outside the property/filthy stairway into the property/broken kick boards/polystyrene still on the washing machine/filthy looking old blankets on the couches. It was grim. We took our cases and left immediately.
- John (9/5): Nice stay - Good location in Kinlochleven, nice clean, and comfortable apartment. Lovely views of the mountains from the living room window. We couldn’t get the heating to switch on, some instructions on how it operates would have been helpful and would have saved us having to phone the owner.
- Lars (8/5): Very nice with a few small flaws - Very nice location in a small village, near Glencoe and other beautiful areas of Scotland. Very responsive and helpful owners, really supportive before and during the stay. The cleanliness was not very good, many dusty corners that weren’t cleaned properly. The apartment was equipped okay, but for example there is a washing machine (very good for a three week trip), but nowhere to hang the wet clothes afterwards.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Great size for a family and brilliant to have a bath after a tough day in the hills.
- Kelly (9/5): Superb -
- Patrick (9/5): Superb -
- Fui (9/5): Superb - The whole place, especially the comprehensive kitchen facilities. Nothing
- Austin (9/5): Fantastic stay overall - Very nice and clean, and well-equipped and stocked Bed and floors were a bit creaky
- Nicole (9/5): Great location to explore Kinlochleven and Glencoe. Nice and cosy and would certainly stay again. - Great location with an easy walk into the village and parking at the door.
- Joshua (7/5): Good - Location is quite a distance from the main road, but the area is beautiful Difficult to find.
- Franco (9/5): Superb -
- Loraine (9/5): Superb -
- Andre (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (9/5): We really enjoyed the stay and the host was very responsive. - The location was very quiet and beautiful. The apartment was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dark which made it hard to see to get ready. It would have been great to have a fan since it was warm at night.
- Krzysztof (5/5): Passable - It's hard to find this b&b - no signs. The neighborhood should be avoided
- Ben (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient location on West highland way The heating wasn't working, it was bitterly cold in the flat and no hot water. The owner eventually organised a small oil filled radiator to be delivered. After further complaints she offered a partial refund but this took nearly 7 weeks to come through after much chasing. The property lacked a manual eg to find WiFi code, operate heating. Apparently property has heat source pump with no back up if it fails.
- רביב (9/5): Very good - The entrance, the yard
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Hamza (8/5): Stunning . - The cleanliness , a property equipped with all basic facilities for a tourist .
The property owners were really polite and property itself was good . Nothing
- Sasha (8/5): Property fully met our needs and we were very happy with it - Property was very smart and clean, comfy bed, excellent shower, very quiet Entrance hall and stairway was a bit gloomy, but that was a very minor issue
- Jeff (10/5): Fantastic stay in a great location. Thank you! - Clean. Comfortable beds. Overall great experience.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (7/5): Very comfortable anf well equipped.. - Care taken into making sure property is clean. Top quality appliances. Current renovations very tasteful. Property was more expensive than similar we have booked on this current trip. Very nice but a little overpriced given that fine detail of renovation not completed. It would be good to have a folder with instructions on how to use some of the features that people from other countries y not but used to - heating, shower, television. Etc
- Gail (6/5): Comfortable stop on our way from Isle of Skye to Perth in a lovely village. - The apartment was clean with a lovely renovated kitchen and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the views to the mountains were lovely. Kinlochleven is a sweet little village with a beautiful walk to a waterfall. It was a good stop driving from Isle of Skye to Perth. We cook and there weren't enough kitchen staples (bowls, wine glasses, salad bowl, microwave dish, dish towels, etc.) for us to use. Also no instructions were left for us to connect to wifi (though we did figure it out) and we couldn't figure out how to get a signal for the tv.
- Niki (10/5): Fabulous - The views were spectacular, super comfortable couches, well equipped everything, and the shower amazing! Best shower we have had on our travels. I’m too old to lug heavy suitcases up stairs. They smelled freshly painted too, so we left our bags in the car!
- Yesid (9/5): Superb -
- Donald (9/5): Superb location, very comfortable and clean facilities. - The property was in a great location, with superb views over to the towering mountains opposite. It was very clean and comfortable having been renovated fairly recently. There could have been some explanatory material in the prooperty relating to operation of the tv and washing machine for example. Also, some info on local amenities wouldn't have gone amiss.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Gemma (10/5): Lovely home, private, comfy beds, great shower and amazing views of the mountains. Lovely location for a relaxing break - The views were great, kitchen had everything we need, shower was awesome and beds very comfy! Nothing! It was great
- Alex (7/5): Good - Warm, comfortable, and clean which was very welcome after a section of the West Highland Way. Good quality kitchen equipment. Hosts have made the most of the good view the living room offers. Issue with payment, but hosts were really helpful and relaxed about it, rather than making it stressful for us. Zero 'kerb appeal'. From the outside, it's hard not to think "what have I booked?" - literally a car on blocks and a dirty caravan out front too. It's a maisonette, but that means the front door opens onto stairs to the apartment. Fine in and of itself, but based on the exterior the stairs could really benefit from making a good impression instead of giving crack den vibes.
- Carol (7/5): Short break review - Plenty of space, great shower, refurbished kitchen and bathroom obviously within the last year. Restaurants, takeaway and coop within easy walking distance. Probably very good for hikers. On opening the front entrance door we were greeted with extremely green walls and stairs which were rather a mess, dont know whether they are a work in progress. Although decoration has been done there are places that need touched up or finished. Towels are thin if that is an issue. I think we were the only people in the whole building (this is a first floor flat) and gardens are not well maintained, irrelevant if anyone is there one day and gone the next or there for a short stay.
- Manas (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing view from the apartment.
- Gerry (10/5): Absolutely love this apartment - Immaculately clean, very well equipped, very peaceful, very comfortable bed, slept like a baby. And the view of the Mamore mountains from the sofa is just surreal.
- Amanda (10/5): Fantastic host and property - Host was amazing. Went over and above to accommodate a request I made. Interior very fresh and modern with a stunning view of the hills from a large picture window in the living room and new fully equipped kitchen. Was lovely and warm with hot water on demand. We only stayed one night but would be ideal for a longer stay to go walking and/or explore the highlands. Highly recommend, I would definitely book again.
- Ossie (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Great location with a most spectacular view
Comfortable apartment equipped with everything you need
Nicest doona ever!!
Excellent communication from owners
- Jenny (9/5): Watching the sky change over snow capped mountains from the living room was just magic. - Best view in the region! Comfy and felt at home as soon as we arrived. Fantastic shower after a day’s hiking. Would be useful to have instructions for the heating/hot water system on hand. A few more kitchen utensils for self catering would be good (peeler, collander, scissors).
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): Very good - This apartment is in a good location for exploring the area - while also located a little off the "beaten path". The apartment was newly renovated and a few of the minor finishing touches were not yet completed - but that was not a problem. There are a limited number of restaurants in the town - so access to a car is helpful. The drive around the lake is Beautiful!. Be sure to hike to the waterfall in town - it is picturesque!
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is nice, and overall very comfortable. The kitchen is great and well equipped. The gift basket was a very nice touch. The twin beds were not comfortable for adults, they're basic bunk bed mattresses meant for kids that can sleep on anything and feel great when they wake up the next morning. The stairs up to the apartment are painted black and looked really creep, especially on the rainy dreary day we arrived. Once you get up to the apartment and open the door it's a very pleasant surprise.
- Ninja101 (7/5): Good - The view from the window was amazing. The entrance into the flat could be better. Very dark inside. No lock on the bathroom door.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional flat for a family visit to Kinlochleven - This is an entire two bedroom flat that has been recently renovated and extremely well done. It is very well appointed (bathroom and kitchen are great), modern, and clean. Our hosts were extremely helpful in getting us into the flat and our luggage portage service sorted. If you’re staying in Kinlochleven for the West Highland Way or just exploring the amazing outdoors, this home is a luxury.
- Tomasz (9/5): Very pleasant, would stay here again. - Lovely, well-equipped flat with very comfortable beds. Nicely decorated throughout. Stunning surrounding views. It was a great bonus that coffee pods and some toiletries were provided alongside well stocked kitchen cupboards. Not many negatives, small details only:
Would be great if there was a lock on the bathroom door
The TV has a vertical line of dead pixels through the screen
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): A fantastic property in a great location though lack of cafes, shops and pubs made it difficult to do food shopping or g - Scenery was beautiful and is a nice 40 minute drive away from Ben Nevis. Amenities were lovely and decorated beautifully. The entrance to the property is a little daunting and some interior decoration could use some work but was otherwise great.
- Denise (8/5): Very good -
