The kitchen is big also but we did not use it since there are so many cafes, restaurants and shops in the area. it is on the 7'th floor but lucky the elevator is there. Lack of parking, it is advertised the property offers it. But, there is one paid nearby 5 min of walk. Lack of slippers, we had only one pair. AC is loud, a bit old, might need some maintenance. Wi-fi needs attention. it mostly did not work

The studio was modern, beautifully decorated, and very clean — exactly as shown in the photos. The bed was extremely comfortable, and all the amenities were well thought out, making the stay very relaxing. The location is perfect, right in the city center, close to restaurants, shops, and main attractions, yet the room was peaceful and quiet at night. The host was kind and attentive, providing clear instructions and great local tips. Check-in and check-out were smooth and effortless. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return to Downtown Boutique Studios — highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

• Herdis (10/5): - Everything was very smooth, clean, and comfortable. Check-in was handled through WhatsApp, and payment was by card -the first and only time during our trip in Albania. There was even a special hairdryer for curly hair in addition to the standard one. Well-equipped for a short stay.
• Daniela (7/5): Good 2 nights stay - The location, easy to walk around, many restaurants and cafes and shops. It was quite hard to find the place, and we had to call for directions. I also lost some time during my trip and upon arrival because they couldn’t charge my credit card — they tried another one, but the same issue occurred. This had never happened before, and since I regularly use the same card on Booking.com, it was quite annoying. The lady picking the phone was kind and allowed us to check in before the payment went through, which was much appreciated. We stayed in the Yellow Room, which was quite small, and the bathroom was really tiny. If possible, I would recommend booking another room type. You should also know that these are not standalone apartments as one might expect. They are rooms within a large apartment that has been divided into several smaller units, each with its own bathroom and small kitchen. Because of that, the walls are thin — you can easily hear conversations from neighboring rooms, which makes it feel like you’re sharing the space with other travelers. Pillows are quite high/ big - if you are a think/small person with fragile neck they are not suitable. Overall, I would half-recommend this accommodation. It might suit some travelers, but personally, I wouldn’t stay there again.

• Claudia (7/5): New and centrally located but room for improvement - Centrally located in Blloku. Supermarket and pharmacy right next door which is handy. Be aware it is at the back of a large building which you enter via an alley way. The apartment was pretty small but the kitchen facilities were good and everything was new. The bed was comfortable and the apartment had block out blinds and aircon. The door to the apartment did not lock from the inside which made me feel a bit unsafe. Even though it was a coded entry as a female solo traveler I highly value the ability to lock the door from the inside. Upon arrival, I also noticed some hair in the bathroom sink. Communication with the staff could have been better. I had shared my arrival time in advance and they did not raise objections, but when I arrived around 12:30 p.m., I was told I had to wait until the 2 p.m. check-in time, even though the room appeared to be ready and no one was around. I only wanted to drop off my luggage, which they gave me a temporary code to do — the storage area was in a small hallway. Later, I had to message the staff to get access to the room, as they hadn’t given me any information about it by 3 pm. At checkout, the cleaner waited in the cupboard outside my room for over an hour before my scheduled checkout time, playing loud music and speaking on the phone, which felt a bit intrusive. I’ve later been told by the owner it’s very hard to find good cleaning staff. The payment process was also a bit confusing. After I arrived I was asked over WhatsApp how I wanted to pay. I was happy to pay cash but since no one lives at the apartment we needed arrange a time for someone to come collect it — or alternatively, they told me I could leave it in the room, which felt insecure. I understand they have trouble with online payments in Albania, but other friends stayed at apartments where it was all contactless and payment was taken via the platform which might be easier is the owner is not staying near the apartments.

Eingang ist nicht einfach zu finden, am besten hier kurz Kontakt zur Vermieterin aufnehmen.

Il divano è ampio e comodo, la cucina completamente attrezzata e le finestre della zona giorno sono dotate di tapparelle. Il bagno è moderno, accogliente e dispone di una comoda doccia walk-in. L'appartamento si trova nel quartiere di Blloku, una zona giovane e vivace, ricca di locali e ristoranti, ma il palazzo è situato in una parte tranquilla e silenziosa. Su consiglio della proprietaria abbiamo lasciato l’auto in un parcheggio molto vicino, pagando solo 5€ per 24 ore. Vicino al palazzo c'è un supermarket. Piazza Skanderbeg, cuore del centro di Tirana, dista circa 18-20 minuti a piedi. Noi abbiamo preferito spostarci in taxi: in soli 5 minuti e con 5€ siamo arrivati a destinazione. L’ingresso del palazzo si trova sul retro rispetto alla strada principale, ed è accessibile tramite una stradina laterale. La proprietaria, comunque, fornisce tutte le indicazioni necessarie per raggiungerlo facilmente. L’appartamento si trova a un piano alto ed è servito da ascensore. La proprietaria è stata molto disponibile e il check-in è avvenuto senza alcun problema. Abbiamo potuto saldare l'importo con carta di credito anche se con una piccola commissione aggiuntiva, come ci è capitato ovunque in Albania. Se ci ricapiterà di tornare a Tirana ci torneremo sicuramente! L'appartamento ci è piaciuto molto, l’unico aspetto che ci ha un po’ disturbato è l’assenza di tapparelle o persiane nelle finestre della zona notte, dove sono presenti solo tende non particolarmente oscuranti. Tuttavia, dopo aver soggiornato in altri alloggi in Albania, abbiamo scoperto che si tratta di una consuetudine molto diffusa.

• Claudia (9/5): Fantástico estudio en el corazón de Tirana - El estudio está ubicado en una zona fantástica para conocer Tirana sin necesidad de transporte público. Rodeado de muchísima oferta gastronómica y servicios. Y a minutos del centro histórico de Tirana. La comunicación con la propietaria del estudio es inmediata y con un trato súper amable y colaborativo. El acceso al apartamento es sencillo. No es una crítica al apartamento. Pero sí es un comentario para tener en cuenta al acceso del edificio. Tiene muchos escalones y no está preparado en accesibilidad. Es complejo si eres una persona con dificultad en la movilidad o si tienes un carrito de bebé.

Brilliant location in very close walking distance to lots of good restaurants and bars. Owner sent clear instructions with location details for a seamless check in and payment could be made by card via a link sent. Bed was super comfortable and there was AC and spare blankets available if you were too hot/cold. Completely spotless with lovely modern decor as well. Apartment is up on the 7th floor (with lift access) so away from the noise of the road too. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

So happy we made the best decision to book this particular place as the location was perfect to explore the main area. The apartment was very modern and clean. The bathroom and shower was very clean and modern and smelt great. The towels provided smelt great too, I had to ask the host what detergent she uses to wash it 😂. Blerina the host of the apartment is an amazing lady always ready to help to make your stay enjoyable. She even asked us what time our flight was and allowed us late check out later. Would 100% return if I visit Tirana. Thank you blerina!

• Linda (10/5): Super clean, beautifully decorated room with a lovely host - Our host was lovely and accommodating. She had thought of everything guests could want/need. Even two hairdryers: one for straight hair and one for curly hair. The towels were luxurious, the room and bathroom were both super clean, and location in the Blloku area was excellent.
