• Carol (6/5): October 2025 Stay - Found the area a little run down. Street hard to walk on for a senior. Liked the balcony. Apartment was nice. Living room comfortable. The two larger bedrooms were nice. I had the smaller one. Didn't like that my bathroom was not connected to my room. Kitchen was cute and there was coffee maker. Things were clean. Host arranged for ferry transfer at a cost. Questions/texts were answered quickly. Unit was quiet and we felt safe there. My smaller room was too small. No bedside table. The smell is my room was horrible. Tried open windows and running AC Had to get scented candle. Hard to sleep in it because of odor. Didn't have hair dryer in bathroom. Had to wait for friends to wake up to use theres. Shower drain was plugged but someone came that afternoon and fixed it. No welcoming bottle of wine or anything. Main TV remote never worked. Would have been nice to have a note about some nearby restaurants and markets or information about the area. Thought it was strange that we were asked to take out our garage when we left. That should be up to cleaning staff.
• Matt (9/5): Perfect penthouse stay in Athens! - We had a fantastic stay at the Acropolis Penthouse Suite on Skoufa. The 3-bedroom apartment was spacious, newly renovated, and beautifully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable few days in Athens. The highlight was the incredible view across the city to the Acropolis – especially stunning at night. The location was ideal for sightseeing, with many of the city’s key attractions within easy reach. There’s a local supermarket just around the corner for any essentials, and we enjoyed excellent bakeries and restaurants nearby. A special mention to Mingus Cava Bar just downstairs – the perfect spot for an evening ouzo on the way home. Highly recommend this as a stylish and convenient base for exploring Athens!
• Brian (10/5): Wonderful apartment in Athens - This might be my favorite apartment that I have stayed in from all the rental sites (Booking.com, Air BNB, VRBO, etc.). Location if fantastic. Beautiful view of the Acropolis. The patio faces it, so it was nice to drink some wine and enjoy the view. A small grocery store and coffee shop were 600 meters away. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance and close to the national library, where there is a stop for the hop on hop off buses is (8 min walk). The host was in contact several days before our stay. The apartment had guests the day before our stay, but the host allowed us to store our luggage well before check-in. The housekeeper is so nice. He came down and helped us bring our luggage up to the apartment and showed us the space. The apartment is very comfortable and the decor is very chic. I can't say enough good things about this place. It will definitely be my go to place (if available) the next time I visit Athens. The parking spots are usually full, so our taxi drivers had to stop traffic to let us out on the street. It is a one way, one lane street, so it is safe. Only took about one minute to unload our luggage (15 pieces for 5 people- went on a 2 week cruise).
