Guest Reviews
- June (8/5): Perfect for a short stay -

- Kath (10/5): Very comfortable, cosy home that was perfect for our family of 3 generations. This was our first holiday with our baby - Loved the location, near the beach and walking distance to town. The property was very well appointed, comfortable, cosy and very homely. The balcony out the back was private, sunny, large with a great table for dinner and drinks outside. Nothing - maybe stairs from the balcony to the backyard for the pets would have been useful.
- Amanda (10/5): Beautifully presented property with lots of space in a fantastic location right near the beach - Wonderful property in a great location. Just a couple of minutes walk directly to the beach, in a quiet and tree lined area, only 5 mins drive into cowes and all the amenities. Right near the golf course. House was fantastic and had everything we needed, both upstairs and down living areas and lovely kitchen with everything you could need, including a coffee pod machine. Fireplace a bonus on a cold and wet day. Lovely upstairs deck to eat and relax. A lot of love has been put into making this house a home, with artful touches everywhere. Thank you for having us!
- Chaminda (4/5): Very diasapointing about Obrien realestate service. - The interior is good. But outdoor was not clean at all. It was really disappointed about the customer service. When you switch on the lights, it was tripping off from the power broad and the whole property power went done over 5 times. I informed to Kerry. however, after 5pm we couldn't reach to anyone at Obrien realsetate. We called to the number pasted in refrigerator, but no one returned the call. I hosted this night for close family who came from overseas & it ended up with very embarrassing situation. Finally I had to call my contact electrician & advice how to fix it. Further , we had to buy candles from the Coles in Cowes. Hereafter I will not recoment this propriety at all. Further, it is very bad reputation to booking.com too.
- Sharon (9/5): Wonderful location in peaceful neighbourhood close to the beach, loved that we could bring our dogs -
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (8/5): Great place for a long weekend - Large open living dining area. Great kitchen, plenty of beds. Perfect for groups or larger families. Close to shops, short walk to the beach. We spent a wonderful long weekend here. The large dining table is a good size for boardgames :)
- Debbie (9/5): Loved the house , the location and would stay here again - Location
The house had a lovely vibe and atmosphere
It was clean and everything we wanted for our getaway The process of booking the property through the agent was very frustating
Continual emails asking for further $ when deposit and final payment were made
I spent alot of time following up on these emails trying to understand this process they undertook
Would prefer to book directly with an owner rather than go through the process with the RE agent again
Key lock was not where the agent said it was - said it was on the right side of the stairs-it was actually the left side
- Katherine (9/5): Beautiful property, frustrated with Booking.com - Great location, and all the little things taken care of: UHT milk in the fridge, sharp knives, heaps of lovely crockery, very comfy beds We struggled a bit with the cooktop, it's one of those ceramic ones - very slow to heat up, and easy to burn things.
We loved the property, but would be reluctant to use Booking.com again unfortunately. Not at all the property owner's fault, but we found the booking process between Booking.com and the Real Estate Agents very cumbersome and confusing. They require a lot of duplicated information, and a concerning amount of personal documents: electronic copies of drivers licence and credit card (especially concerning, given the recent data breaches at Booking.com). After making the initial booking and payment, we were then asked for further $500 separately. Then, buried in a dozen emails, was a warning that we *may* need to provide our own linen, and that we should check for ourselves. But it wasn't easy to check.. there was no way of easily finding out. Then later, we received a message to say we definitely needed to organise our own linen. But it was a message we easily could have missed. Luckily, we saw it, and organised linen. But then we got to the house and found that linen *was* provided!
