Guest Reviews
- Matthew (1/5): - The property did not exist! It was a fraud! Everything about the experience so far!
- Francisco Javier (1/5): -
- Anil (1/5): - The property was not accepting guests, and I was informed about it once I arrived there. Very bad experience. Had to find another place to stay!
- Connor (1/5): This place is a scam, do not stay here. First of all we arrived and no answer from the owners with check in. When I fina - Nothing This place is a scam, do not stay here. First of all we arrived and no answer from the owners with check in. When I finally get through I got told this room was double booked. Not only after 25 hours of flying from Australia to be told of a double booking. We also get told that the two available numbers on the site are not with the accommodation. We then stay on the phone for 1:30 to be told I will be contacted back for 45 minutes with no promise of a refund. Only through hassling and almost begging for our money back that I receive an email to say I will receive a refund, ON DAY OF CHECK OUT!!!! I am very lucky that my partner was willing to pay for the stay at the alternative accommodation otherwise I don’t know what we would do. Overall ruined the start of our holiday and booking.com had no regards of sympathy for this entire situation to not even compensate on later accommodation. Overall I would not book through booking.com unless it is a really good deal. It’s worth paying even an extra £100 just for the comfort of knowing it’s with the people.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heike (4/5): Disappointing - Location was good for us as were attending the Founders Day at Chelsea hospital. The door to the street was open when we arrived, which, considering those hanging around outside, made the place feel unsafe. We kept it shut after that. One person tried to pretend they were staying there the next day and was trying to get us to share the code. Front entrance was filthy and gloomy. The new windows do not keep out any noise and, as the whole flat had not been reglazed, the new double glazing is rendered pretty useless. Glad not to be there in winter as loo window doesn't shut at all. There is nowhere to hang your towel, no door hooks, no bedside lights or stands.
- Somparn (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Fahd (7/5): Good - Location and access to the property A bit old and cleanliness could be better
- Sofia (7/5): Good - Extremly loud, the street and the construction of the building
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (4/5): Disappointing - Modern and clean. It was so noisy, no outlets near the bed or couch. Two flights of narrow stairs make it hard to get large luggage items up and down.
- Peter (5/5): Passable - The location was great for my purpose. The kitchen was well fitted out with washing machine fridge freezer toaster and stove plus utensils crockery etc. The host on the telephone was extremely helpful in directing me to the property and in helping me to access the door code No light in the entrance area. With 2 flights of narrow London stairs to reach the apartment front door then a further flight to actually get to the loving area its not good if you can’t use stairs or carrying much luggage. Difficult to find Although very clean the bedroom was very sparsely furnished without any bedside tables or lights,
- Tihana (7/5): Good -
- Lee (7/5): Enjoyed our stay. The host is very helpful and easy to contact. - Great location! Few minutes walk away from the nearest overground station and bus station. Restaurants, pubs and convenience store is within walking distance. The property is right next to the traffic light junction so it can get a little bit noisy in the bedroom at night and in the morning.
- Sonia (7/5): Overall ok if you are not looking for lavish stays. - Excellent location with great access to public transport.
Flat is in a third floor, with very narrow and steep stairs. The first night, the first flights of stairs had light. The rest were not, so we had to rely on the phones flashlights. The stairs to the actual flat had motion activated light, so no issue there. However, said light, keep turning itself on and off ALL night… Flat has a good size. Bedroom has water damage, which to me, brings questions about mold (not everyone is this picky). The windows have not been replaced in ages, so air and noise go through, making the flat cold at night.
Now for the shower, decent size, but water pools when you shower. We did report the issue and someone came to work on it, and it worked once, then back to the same problem. If using the sink, the shower makes gurgling noises. If using the Washer (major plus!) the sink and shower gurgle.
The neighbors in the flat next to us had daily parties and they were loud but once we were upstairs it was not as bad. Also some questionable people hang out closer to the flat entrance at night. That was at times creepy but we were always safe.
- Timothy (7/5): Nice place but noisy from traffic - Good location near tube and Battersea park
Spacious
Clean with brand new oven Very noisy traffic. Earplugs needed.
Flats are not numbered so a lot of confusion when we arrived
- Brad (2/5): Boiler was potentially a health and safety issue and the support from Booking.com was attrocious as I had to chase up mu - The physical location was ideal for where I needed to be. Broken window in hallway
Boiler not working
Kitchen lightbulb not working
Couldn’t turn off landing light which was on and off all night
Bedroom door allowed landing light in
Shower pressure was abysmal and also shower head leaked
No lock or even handle on bathroom door inside
Windows don’t close properly
Cold due to lack of heating
Wifi slow and unusable
Traffic noise unbearable due to poorly fitting windows
- Blockonome (8/5): Brilliant stay, would do again! - I liked that the hosts were responsive, any time there was an issue. There was an issue during my stay, which could have been due to roadworks. However, no hot water for some time and clogged bathtub drain. However, the host immediately fixed these things, so it was nice.
- Felicity (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent and it was nice and clean. Perfect for us to stay in and do some sightseeing. Apartment was well equipped. Could do with some side lamps as the main light is very harsh.
- Chris (8/5): Great accommodation, comfy bed, tea, coffee, everything you need for a day or two day or two stay. A little noisy (can’t - Great location for an event I was at A little noisy, traffic going past the window, not much anyone can do about it, maybe take some ear plugs.
- Lou (3/5): Need major improvement! - Location to train and power station/battersea park Everything else
- Mervyn (2/5): Noisy apartment - Good host and close to train Really really noisy apartment, very difficult to sleep, windows would not lock and did little to block noise from busy junction outside
- Bernadett (4/5): Good location, but very noisy and cold. Not recommended - The accommodation was close to everything. Bus and metro stops were within 1 minute walking distance. There was a shop right next to the accommodation. The host tried to solve all problems. The noise outside was terribly loud. The windows were not well closed, so all the sound came in. Even with earplugs we could hear every noise, it was like sleeping in the street. The first night it was very cold, we slept in sweaters and pants, but the host sorted that out. The apartment was smaller than it looks in the pictures. The stairs going up are very steep, the banister is torn out of the wall. The host did not tell us that there would be workmen on the balcony. The first day we arrived there were strangers looking back at us from the window. So the balcony could not be used. It also obstructed the view from the living room and 2 rooms. The wifi was very slow and weak. and was not posted anywhere, you had to ask the host separately.
We couldn't shower properly because the temperature couldn't be adjusted. There was only really really hot water. The walls were soaked everywhere.
It was very annoying that there was no key, you had to enter just with a code. The door to the building was not properly locked and had to be closed several times to keep it closed.
The door to the apartment was not locked properly either. The motion sensor in the corridor outside was activated when we walked past the door inside. Honestly Not recommended.
- George (8/5): Very good - Really clean, and towels provided which was a bonus! Loads of room for 6 of us, didn't feel crowded. Very close to Battersea Park and transport network. Traffic noise, but it is London so to be expected!
- Julia (8/5): Great value for money but don’t forget your ear plugs! - Excellent location. Beautifully presented.
Well appointed Noisy location at night. Weren’t aware of the building work
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (8/5): Very good -
- Shenagh (8/5): Nice accommodation, handy but noisy location - Nice little touches, fluffy towels and some basics like tea coffee sugar some cereals and we left oil for the next people. Handy to explore Battersea area. UBER in to picadilly about £20. Very steep stairs to bring luggage to apartment. Situated on the corner of a busy crossroads, very noisy traffic started about 5am. A bit chilly although it was very cold while we were there.
- Allen (8/5): Very good - super clean, super comfy, very pretty flat. "boasting a balcony" balcony is locked and off limits because of workers, and we weren't told workers were going to be on scaffolding right outside our window at 9am
- Kankoshe (6/5): Pleasant -
- Liliana (7/5): Good - Very clean and tidy! No complaints 👌 The sound of the traffic enters the interior due to the old windows, the noise is disturbing and interferes with your sleep.
- Courtney (9/5): Pleasantly surprised with our experience and would consider returning again. - We liked how the host had set out clean towels on each bed, there were hangers in the wardrobe, and the kitchen had everything we needed as if we were at home. All of it made a nice touch! The whole apartment was freshly cleaned and the rooms were spacious. We didn’t have showers in the end because we couldn’t get the water to stay at an appropriate temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. The internet seemed weak during peak hours too which frustrated the kids as they tried to watch a movie.
- Ronni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lara (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment with everything you may need
- Tina (6/5): Happy still :)) - They provide everything, which is really nice! The door was hard to access and when we first arrived, one of the light doesn’t work and so does washing machine. But they get someone to fix soon!!
- Matilde (7/5): Good -
